Do your normal sitz bath. Mix a lil salt and savlon in warm water( not hot) sit in it 10mins 3xdaily. It helps in the healing process.

Hmmm. We just have to let them have their cravings at times! Was feeding him minutes ago, he just stood up looking around for his cup! Went straight to d refridgerator & attempted opening it: wanted to get his cup as his water was at sight. Had no choice but to get him his cup (because he wouldn't leave), pour him a little & attempted feeding him afterwards. Gosh! He shut his lips ni o until he had his water to satisfaction. Thank God it's a normal attitude/cravings. I'm OK with that.

Yea I get u, she said tying it the wrong way making the uterus drop down. The person I know that had it has 2kids o! The other had 5 tho. I googled it a lot of factors sha. It is well with us women! Pls how do we explain our dear sis own. I think she said she has 3kid.

My dear, prolapse actually isnt related to wrapper tying. If nt every wonan for get am na. Its usu happens to pple who hv had many kids, or surg in dat area. U can check it up

Pls go see ur doc. You realise when its not treated it gets worse. Leaking occurs etc

My dear, My matron for ANC told us that tying wrapper especially the wrong way is one of the reasons prolapse happens. I just jejely respect myself o. I no de tie wrapper o, I try to work out to firm my belly. It happened to my relative, she had surgery to correct it.

While I empathise with the family over her condition, I won't fail to note that she is the architect of her current travails. Agreed she is not responsible for the background she was born into, but she certainly is responsible over the lady she turned out to be. Her parents doing drugs in front of her doesn't justify her doing same. Google her up and you will be surprised at her record at so young an age, from her suicide attempt, murder attempt on her mum,drugs and of recent the incestuous marriage with her 'adopted' brother and she is only 21

Folic acid is recommended for women of reproductive age dat r nt even preg to prepare u for pregnancy and prevent fetal anomalies. Surprised he asked u to stop d folic acid. Pls continue ur folic acid
Please all FTM and mothers wit either history of miscarriages,previous stilbirth,hbp in preg,ttc b4 success and any oda issue shld please endeavour to register in a govt hospital for adequate care and if u r using a private hosp, ensure they hv a consultant gynaecologist and not just regular general practitioner. U deserve the best ooo and the end result is our LOS in our hands wit us both in gud health.. one love alwaz

So sorry about your loss. Thank God you have been blessed again. Wheb you talk about epidural think a well known gyne. I know first consultant gives it. You also realise it cost quite some cash. Kaffybill pls find out if govt hospitls give it o.

@haemi nice, am in egbeda axis also. Am opting for island maternity hospital cos I heard they are good. But don't know if they do epidurals.
I had a very very very very very painful first labor and still had to go for cs, i can not even begin to stress the horror, ontop all I lost the baby cos of prolong labour. So for the love of Jesus can someone pls talk about epidural and where around its done and the possible cost. Any contribution is very appreciated.

A lot of babies don't react to Nan. I think you should stick to Nan for now,maybe when baby grows a lil older you can switch. She is too tender for u to start experimenting.

Lovely thread.. my little angel is 6 weeks old, when I delivered I dint Get milk flow immediately and the doc Gave us already made nan formula,i fed my baby with it for about 4 days b4 I Got milk and she was already used to the nan formula. Being a first time mom and no one around to tell us the best formula I sticked to nan but Goin tru d thread av read abt various formula,i want to knw which is the best Aldoe I breast feed abt 10 times daily and supplementing with formula. Attached is her pix,i also wanna knw if she looks healthy for her age.

My dear I tried to stop my son but no way. I even bought different types of pacifier/sucker yet to now. I just let him suck o. My friend stopped her son and the boy switched to tongue sucking( one side sucking) I feel for her sha. Tongue sucking can make someone absent minded. My son sucks when he is bored too.

Better to prevent/control b4 they are able to get more hand coordination. My boy does it when he's feeling sleepy or bored; we've tried hand-mitten,tapes, handkerchief but, nay, he'll remove it (no matter how tightly tied/knotted). So we either just let him, keep him busy or secure his hand & let him cry a river (which I just can't stand for long). He stops sucking sometimes when shown disapproval, but not all d time, and he does stop once he's asleep. 15mth old now.

@lovinam, so wht do I do to stop d tongue sucking. She does dat only in her sleep. But for active moments in d day its thumb, evn when breastfeeding wil stil find a way to put thumb in mouth.
How do I stop d tongue sucking in d sleep pls?

My dear to tell you the truth I don't know. Maybe you should let her be since she only sucks while sleeping.
