I use powder made from corn starch. I don't pour it directly on baby. I pour on my palm then rub on LO.

Its recomended to use powder till baby is 6-12months cos most react to lotions and cream. I didn't use any lotion nor cream, I ve always used powder and their skin is just fine. I start using lotion from 1yr.

Pls someone recommended the chico cosmetics for me too and i bought it but MIL said i shouldnt use the cream now until 6months that my baby can react to it,pls is this true from your experience? Although i use ori(shea butter) now and its like my baby is getting darker. Thanks

Are u doing plastibell or trad one? For the plastic u don't need to do anything. Its a simple procedure. The nurses will tell u how to look after him. Ensure you follow their guidline. I don't know much about the trad one

Pls take paracetamol. Do you sitzbath? Get a bowl ur bxm can fit in, pour WARM water and add savlon and a little salt. Sit in the mixture for 20mins do it 3xdaily. Pls don't use hot water, you can use dettol if u don't have access to savlon. You will be fine

A good quality Cotton bud (not the ones sold in traffic) rarely get stuck in the ears if it is used gently talkess of the butt hole.

I went for antenatal today and my doc ask if I have been contracting,I told her I can't tell the kind she talks about but I know I feel some discomforting pains in my abdomen and anus. She said am due for delivery and am supposed to be contracting,well she said I will have to come for admission on Tuesday if I don't go into labour before then and by tuesday I will not still be 40 weeks. I asked y admission if no show,she said so that labour can be induced. It got me worried!!! Please mothers,is she exaggerating or are there things I can do to induce labour all by myself?
Note:my baby has been kind of restless in the belle,always moving.

Keep taking your long walks in the evening. Labour will start, but if the doc is concerned about something pls kindly follow her advice. I was booked to be induced and labour started 4:30am same day. So things can change before tues. Keep calm! I pray you have a painless delivery
