Hi dear, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Just try hard to remove fear from your heart. You have a responsibility to take care of your baby. I know its sad to lose a loved one but life has to go on. Its difficult to accept but what can one do. Pls nuture your baby to the best of your ability and banish every negative thought in your mind. Please mamas, how do I handle depression, I lost my immediate sister a day after my LO naming, I thought I would be able to get over it but it hasn't bn easy( 2wks now). I am always scared that sometin might happen to my baby,I don't feel capable of taking care of him on my own,I stay with my Mil presently but will go bck to my base after 40days. Pls I nid ur hlp as am not happy at all and its affecting my love for my LO I don't wnt to go bck feeling lk dis.

I successfully weaned my baby without crying episodes. I stopped feeding during d day, we do night feeds twice before morning. I started giving water but found out he gets hungry at night, so I introduced milk. I give him 250ml before he sleeps and early in the morning. If he wakes before then he takes his water which I keep close by. I wish all mothers successful weaning( e no easy o, d others no easy like this)

Mamas in the house hello, I'm 16 weeks gone, haven't started Anc cos of extreme nausea and vomitting, cant stand the smell of ppl(odor/perfume) or food, I vomit even water and it leaves me so weak and dizzy, am trying out ginger now.

Also when I eat anything, I feel a burn at the back of my chest not lyk heartburn, I tot it's just proteins that does that, is it normal?

My dear don't even know the name of the one I have. Everything is in chinese, I got it from someone that goes to China and it was quite cheap 2k. If you want to express save one bossom all night. By morning it will flow like river. If u use manual to express u got to apply wisdom.

They go through diaper a lot at this stage... Cuz they poop after every feed. It will soon pass. The walmart / SAMs club brand are not as good but for the stage you are in where you changed often it doesn't really matter. But if you are shipping to Naija I will advice you mix with Huggies or pampers especially at the size 3 stage.

Do you Ebf? If no then she might be asking for water. Has she started using toys? If yes she might be asking for her toy. You need to monitr her really close to know what each cry means. I know when my lo wants water or food. Each sound is different. Lol

This mrn she started wit (I don't know how to describe it) this shrieking sound like she's complaining abt smthing which end up in her crying, when I try to pet ha she lafs. I found it strange nd its giving me a great concern cos she has been a peaceful baby from birth, so u will understand what I'm talking abt.

Try parents choice, its a walmart brand. Pls buy diapers from there its way cheaper considering the quality. I don't know where you stay but there are outlets that sell diaper without brand names, ask your host. They are very good quality diapers and very very cheap. They come in brown cartoins. I've used them severally. I try to buy quality baby things that I know are expensive in Nigeria too.

Am not just comfortable. Like menses wants to come. Pain at lower abdomen.like 40 mins apart.

I do know some babies don't crwal before walking. Have u tried to walk with her? Well I will say take her to a consultant pead. They have ways to check strength on limbs etc.

Gudmorning all mum's in the house.am just joining this group for the first time and am happy to be a member, pls my baby girl will be 1yr next week 24th of this month and she's not yet crawling, standing and walking, hav bn seeing paediatrician she only told me dat the baby is having delay in milestone and I should be keeping some toys in her front which am doing and she's making an attempt but can't move, so have bn so worried. Anyway presently she has bn running temperature, she throws up, don't eat, and passing a watering sheet, the only thing she like taking is water. She went for an admission like month towards ending and they treated her malaria and yesterday a text was carried out on her and no malaria fund. Pls mum's advice me on what to do because am just confused. She's my first child. Thanks

Booster dose is for older kids/adults...not babies who recently just took the initial dose.

You can't booster a 3month old baby,when he or she only just took the initial dose.

Lol. My baby is 11months. Maybe its hospital I use. What we have left is pcv, tetanus booster. Yellow fever.

that maybe for your hospital, I am very sure my son was given another OPV at 14months with DTP booster. He was initially meant to take yellow fever and chicken box, but these were postphoned for 18th month.

As others have said, if you have a detailed immunization routine l think it's good to stick with it. For the hospital l use, he is on this routine until 5 years. and i think this may not be a case for those that use government hospitals for their immunization routine.

You do realize this vaccine is booster dose. Its for 0-5yrs. I asked two medical doctors and they both said there is nothing wrong in my lo taking it. I still repeat what I said earlier check your immunization cards and ask your docs too.

There is a reason WHO released an immunisation schedule. You cant just be firing vaccines into your baby because a bunch of people are dispensing it.

Mummies, stick to your existing schedules as contained in the book. The health workers are meant for those who have not taksen or completed the dose.

Vaccines are like drugs...they should not be abused.

Pls o! Give your kids polio vaccine to avoid stories that touch. My baby took the last one at 6months or so. I brought him out for another lately. There is no harm in doing so. Check your immunization cards I think polio vaccine stops at 6 months. So if your baby is older than 6months go get it.
