If the north burns to ground, Buhari can not win, most supporters are northerners

If Nigeria burns , there won't be a president, it'll be free for all because Northerners won't allow GEJ to remain there

and it'll go down in History that GEJ Ruined Nigeria's democracy with his incapacity / cluelessness
Thank you for exposing these anal bugs to higher reasoning. Intelligence is few and far in between them.

We are looking for a final wholistic solution to the Nigerian problem. It took GEJ six years, a looming election loss, and Chadian forces to claim victory against BH.

Pathetic PDP apologists.

lots of BH supporters on NL these days, people like you prefer Nigeria to burn to the ground so that Buhari can win election and rule the Ashes. But the bad news for you is he wont win.
Better for Nigeria that the weakness of our corrupt armed forces are revealed early so that the necessary reforms can be done than to prolong it through fake victories.

Remember how we were in denial about the collapse of Nigeria football for years? Na so e go be with people like you supporting high level corruption in the armed forces.

Sebi NA is claiming that they're reclaiming border towns from BH. Work wey Chad do una claim am.

Oya protect Maiduguri lets see. No Chadian forces to help this time.

Sai Buhari

Edit: This is not a wish that Maiduguri falls to BH. But we have analysed that the NA cannot withstand a sustained BH onslaught on Maiduguri.

Remember it was last Sunday that BH attacked Maiduguri at first. No effort was made by the Nigeria Army to do a counter attack on BH forces to dislodge them from surrounding villages.

So it is obvious BH would return more prepared. Unless Chadian air support comes in Maiduguri is likely to fall.

My point is that until the rot in our armed forces are exposed, Chad etc may help us clear Boko Haram this time but next time it may be Chad attacking us. Who will help us if that happens?

We need reforms asap in the military even if it takes some collateral damage.

Chad, Cameroun and Niger are busy recaliming Border tows. Instead of NA to attack the inner towns like Biu and Bama, they're claiming border towns conquests.

If you notice, all these towns are border towns. It makes sense that our neighboring countries' forces will start attacking BH from their own sides. Why have Nigeria forces left more interior BH strongholds like Biu and Bama from the Nigeria side to go and attack border towns?

It tells you the Nigeria forces are not involved.
Go check a map of these towns and see for yourself.

Only the DHQ has claimed to be involved. All other independent news agencies (local and foreign) say it is strictly foreign forces reclaiming territory from BH.

Just after the new year I was watching African Business Report on CCTV and I ran into the news. As a matter of fact the project manager is a lady who said it was estimated to be completed around 8 years or so, but the had to employ possible engineering wits to cut it down. As a matter of fact electricity will be running out of that facility around July.
Compare that with the lack of political will in Nigeria, this project will be estimated to be completed in 20 years and 1 year would be used for ground breaking ceremony, another one year for unveiling of the project plaque, another 1 years to resettle communities, 1 years to move equipments on ground, by then it will be around electioneering period, then the President would commission the map of the projects - he'll get voted in for second term to complete the project.
I don't know where we got it wrong?

I blame OBJ's warped vision for all these.... his actions will eventually lead to the looming death of PDP.

PoliticsNIGERIA SOLDIERS ABSENT As Chad, Niger And Cameroon Capture Boko Haram Territory by LRNZH(op): 7:30am On Feb 01, 2015
Military forces in Chad, Niger and Cameroon have continued their onslaught against Boko Haram, reclaiming more Nigerian territories from them.

It was gathered yesterday night that Chadian forces cleared the insurgents from Gamboru-Ngala to the north-eastern part of Borno State while men of the Nigerien military overwhelmed the insurgents and chased them out of Malamfatori to the north. Cameroonian forces also cleared Kirawa and Ashigashiya in the eastern flank of the state.

But while the forces from the three neighboring countries were busy routing the sect, Nigerian soldiers were reported not to have participated in the battle.

The three countries were said to have carried out the operations under the Multinational Joint Task Force (MJTF), fighting insurgents in the north-eastern part of the country, but there are no confirmation of this, especially since the MJTF were sacked from Baga.

Troops from the Nigerien army reportedly entered into Nigerian territory on Thursday were they took over the town of Malamfatori and hoisted the Nigerien flag.

The Nigerian military could not be reached for confirmation of the operation at the time of going to press. – AS

It can be recalled that The Nigerian army is next to claiming they are a part of Chad’s capture of Malamfatori border town from Boko Haram. But the world knows better. They likewise claim Civilian-JTF successes. Here is an excerpt of their release:

The Nigerian military has confirmed that Malamfatori is within the Area of Operation (AOR) covered by the Multinational Joint Task Force (MJTF) of which Chad has always been a part. The Defence Headquarters disclosed this on its official twitter page adding that the Nigerian Airforce has also been conducting air mission in the area in the past two days now. The tweet concluded that the operation “is all part of the ongoing efforts against terrorism.”

The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, Benishangul-Gumuz Region, Ethiopia (Cost: $4.8 Billion US)
The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD or Taehige), formerly known as the Millennium Dam and sometimes referred to as Hidase Dam, is a gravity dam on the Blue Nile River in Ethiopia currently under construction. It is in the Benishangul-Gumuz Region of Ethiopia, about 40 km (25 mi) east of the border with Sudan.
At 6,000 MW, the dam will be the largest hydroelectric power plant in Africa when completed, as well as the 8th largest in the world sharing the spot with Krasnoyarskaya. The reservoir at 63 billion cubic meters will be one of the continent's largest. According to the Ethiopian government, as of October 2014, the dam is 40% complete.
The Ethiopian government funds the entire cost of the dam ($4.8 billion US) by itself.

I know one thing for sure GEJ and OBJ are both failures, between 1999 - 2007 OBJ squandered $16 billion in his giagantic power projects that supposedly entered the Guinness Book of Records as the biggest power project any country could ever embark upon. To help you understand how daft all the folks who have ran this country are, I recently bumped into a news on CCTV about Ethiopia's Grand Renaissance Dam, and I then checked it online.

The dam costs the govt. of Ethiopia $4.8 billion and it has an Installed capacity of 6,000 MW, well it's being constructed at a record time of 6 years and it is the biggest hydroelectric project in Africa currently.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Ethiopian_Renaissance_Dam

If one extrapolates this to Nigeria, this project would be estimated to take 20 years and will never be completed. My point is all these past and present rulers are all failures. GEJ is the latest failure and has earned it real good. He had 6 years and should have corrected the power woes of Nigeria. I've critically looked at the power infrastructures we currently have and the privatization drive, we won't have stable power in the next 6 years, my earnest forecast, especially looking at the body language of politicians in Nigerians and how projects are being executed. Someone has to now accumulate the power expenditures under GEJ's 6 years to understand how much of a waste we have endured in this country, they run in billions of dollars.

For a country like Nigeria and all the wealth at its disposal, crude oil sales et al, we deserve a whole lot. It's like a rich friend sending $1 million to another friend in the US to get him an exotic car, his friend ships down a Honda Discussion Continues grin and tells his friend back in Nigeria to bear with him that it is the best he can with that amount. Just think about it!!

Your questions 1 - 3 are saying the same thing. Why are you trying to mix different issues and confuse yourself. So from saying in your initial post that cassava is bad for our health you are now claiming that the issue is about market penetration. If you don't know be informed that government policies are meant to drive growth in sectors. If you don't know please be aware that Honeywell does not bake bread, his mill produces the flour that makes the bread and you can't forcefully instruct a mill owner to upgrade his multi billion machinery specifically designed for wheat flour to start making 20% overnight.
One more time,
Just answer these 2 question and stop beating around the bush

1. Which mill produces 20% Cassava Composite Flour in Nigeria today or in the past?
2. Show us bread that is made from thus 20%cassava composite flour being sold presently in Nigeria.

Show evidence pls.

Very simple questions. Agaba123 could not answer these questions. Can you answer? You have been hovering with answering.

Bros read more. Cassava bread is already part of our staple diet and has been for a while.

http://www.channelstv.com/2013/12/21/nigeria-commits-4-3-billion-naira-to-cassava-flour-processing/

The Nigerian government is spending 4.3 billion Naira (about 27.6 million dollars) on the upgrading of small Cassava flourmills and processors.

The fund is to be managed by the Bank of Industry (BOI).

The Minister of Agriculture, Akinwumi Adesina and the Managing Director of the BOI, Evelyn Oputu, signed the Cassava Bread Fund agreement.

It is also aimed at providing ready market for Cassava farmers.

“As we speak today, six industrial corporate bakers and 20 master bakers produce Cassava bread regularly with at least 20 per cent high quality Cassava flour.

“Nigerians like this bread. It is healthier, tastier and cheaper and the demand for it is rising by the day.
LRNZH:
1. The Minister of Agriculture made this statement that money has been pumped into the failed policy. Judging by past antecedents of NOI, Aganga, Okupe, Moro...... GEJ's minsters are mostly liars.
By the way do you expect him to admit that the policy has failed?
Only the Agric Minister has seen 20% Cassava composite. Honeywell that produces it reports 5% and 10% cassava respectively.
2. No opinion poll or people were interviewed about their preference for cassava bread if it exists outside of Aso Rock
3. Youvr got to be kidding. Out of the hundreds of thousands if not millions of bakeries in Nigeria only 26 bakers produce Cassava bread regularly. Is that successful to you? It is not even up to a drop in the ocean.
Abeg stop defending failure and cluelessness.
joeyfire:
1. The Agric minister didn't say the monies have been released. Disbursement is more complex than you think. It is done in tranches and according to performance milestones. What does Okupe and Abba Moro have to do with this topic please?. Stay focused. The news article states that 6 industrial corporate bakers (which produce hundreds of thousands of loaves a day) and 20 master bakers who equally produce in large quantities are currently doing 20% BEFORE this government intervention. 5000 bakeries will be producing AFTER the upgrading of the cassava flour mills.
2. Stop clutching at straws oga. The government does not need to do a poll before it carries out a policy on taste of bread. The government carries out an impact assessment study which was done almost ten years ago. Chai !
Read again because you're not following my comments.

I will try you one more time.

1. Show me any evidence that 20% Cassava composite flour is currently in the market and don't quote the FG claims. Which company produces it?
Honeywell produced 5% and 10% cassava composite respectively because it is an FG directive.

2. I am talking about the penetration of the so called Cassava bread today in the market and you're bringing up an impact assessment allegedly carried out 10years ago (without link self). Have you seen cassava bread being sold in the streets/stalls presently? If yes show pics or links pls.

3. When did 26 bakers become representative of the number of bakeries in Nigeria?
