AtorKelly: It pays to retain parliamentarians âifâ they are doing their job well. From comments online and offline, this parliament is a rubber stamp one and they havenât favored the population for which they were elected to serve. They are richer now than when they came on board, and Nigerians are poorer for it. God will redirect the course of this nation regardless who loses any seat! |

Nigeria could be doing the same to foreigners if our politicians were educated enough! Education enlightens people but our politicians are educatedly corrupt so they canât achieve this feat for us until we choose to take back our country by electing competent leaders with capacity and compassion to lead at all levels of government that will inevitably translate to all sectors and sections of the country. We the citizens are responsible for the state of our nation by the leaders we elect to run the affairs! 1 Like 1 Share |

She should encourage people to vote based on character and competence amongst the candidates rather than being partisan. Is she not incoherent in her action as who she has accused? |

Politics / Re: Soludo Calls For Unconditional Release Of Nnamdi Kanu, Offers To Be His Surety by luckyz4rea(m): 8:47am On Jan 15, 2023 |
Whilst it is pertinent the guy is released, and a good call, but it is majorly a political call so as to persuade supposed Ipob members, Easterners to vote his party. Any move made by politicians at pivotal times as this isnât always to the interest of Nigerians but themselves! Unfortunately, majority of Nigerians are forgetful otherwise, no matter politiciansâ moves or call, we are still to vote based on competence, character, and ability to deliver good governance to Nigerians! Politicians know now that eating agbado, frying akara and all those political theatrics during electionsâ period doesnât work again so other means must be devised. I think we are wise enough to know that there are moves or calls that wonât distract us from what is more pertinent in times as this. I believe we will outgrow all the political nonsense rearing itâs ugly head in Nigeriaâs space sooner rather than later. 1 Like |

When I read comments of attacks and others, I feel so tempted to reply to them but I just exercise restrain. Someoneâs name will be âthinkâ yet their contributions doesnât sound like a thinkerâs. People canât share their views without fighting and calling names. Sometimes I just watch the campaigns and I compare the comments and attacks their supporters do here and i couldnât agree any better that you are like who you follow! As much as we have bad leaders, we also have âbad nigeriansâ and they are the major cause of the woes that befalls this nation because of their bellies. If Nigeria must turn a new leaf, those that keep turning a deaf ear to understanding the significance of qualified people that should lead this country in terms of character, weâll continue to try to save a sinking ship. A good leadership must begin with Nigerians because we are like the people we elect into power. |

This is where I believe government policy on regulating and disciplining erring individuals on social media should come in and not banning twitter because of a presidentâs tweet or because they are protesting on it. Why should any man or woman think they can post pictures of the opposite sex and get away with it just to get money or get a soon to fade away fame? Some people did it and got away with it. That gives others the feeing to want to do such. Peoplesâ behaviors must be regulated if they are too immoral to discipline themselves in such regards. 1 Like 1 Share |

God1000: How does playing for any club lessen his image? If He was thinking image I guess he shouldnât have signed up for this. The guy is enjoying his career and we are spectating over what will give him image or not. All the comments we make to try to exalt one player over another is needless. We end up causing unnecessary stirs that results in resentment and hate. Character and talent is what we should acknowledge and not some sort of image! 2 Likes |

It is high time Nigerians make peace by voting people with capacity, competence and integrity to be at the helm of affairs! Wonder why election starts almost at the beginning of the year every four years? It is not accidental, it is a pivotal time to determine whether Nigeria will progress or retrogress! Even in our individual lives, the decisions we take at pivotal times, beginning of a year, month or day as the case may be, goes a long way to determine the days that follows! I crave the indulgence of all Nigerians, to jettison selfish interests. To jettison ethnic and religious sentiments by which we have allowed politicians, religious monarchs use those to divide us. Even if you have profited from any of the presidential candidates, that should not be basis to vote them over competence and the future of the youths and generations of youths yet unborn. Not just youths, the impact will be felt by all age groups. For once, letâs vote competence over sentiments that hold no water. Whether you are rich or poor, bad government policies and governance will hit hard on you when wrong/bad leaders are elected, actually, no sane society elects bad leaders if their consciences arenât bought! The rate at which Nigerians are flying out of the country is becoming too alarming. I see a better Nigeria but we must be ready to go beyond seeing and voting to install competence over the status quo. Donât be the reason Nigeria and Nigerians will endure more hardships than has already been endured. God bless Nigeria God bless Nigerians God bless the most competent leadership weâll ever have come 2023. |

If he failed as a president bearing in mind that no man is perfect, letâs say he has repented and going forward he is saying, this is the man to be trusted character and discipline wise. |

Despite the seeming infrastructural stride, most Lagosians are living in poverty due to what I see. What is the point of infrastructural development if the users arenât developed and living a better life? The people first before the infrastructure. Otherwise, when another situation like that of endsars arises, these things will be destroyed because the people arenât living a better life in an âinfra-structurally developed stateâ |
