That minister is a lun.atic. I wish Bokoharam would slaughter the slowpoke and his family. |

If you're intending to subscribe to above-mentioned promo, be aware of the following facts: 1. If you load N2000 for instance, you'll get a credit of N4000. 2. You can use the 4k credit to call any network including international ones. 3. The N4000 is in a single bonus account, unlike Glo's bonus whereby 2k is in Main account and 2k in Promo account. 4. This means you cannot use the 2k to subscribe to a data plan for instance. 5. You have to use up the 4k between Friday and Sunday evenings, otherwise you'll forfeit any remaining balance. 6. They don't like you to know the last 2 points because it makes the promo less appealing. |
Danka7777: I only took issue with your comment because it only references "Yoruba culture". Have you read about "Igbo and Hausa culture"? These also preaches against stealing, same goes with many other cultures.I did NOT IN ANY WAY infer that other cultures condoned stealing. However, i only talked about Yoruba culture due to that context. If we all live according to our cultural values, we won't be in this mess. |
Danka7777: Sharrap my friend with this holier than thou attitude. Look at your ofe mmanu mouth; Yorubas are saints. Criminals! If you went to school and stayed in class, you would see that i wrote Yoruba CULTURE. The fact that Obasanjo, Bankole, Otedola, Bode George are thieves does not mean that Yoruba CULTURE promotes it. Yoruba culture taught us that death is worse than stealing. It may surprise you, but those core values are still important to some people. |
jimmyboy1010: Hello Good Citizen, Do you think anything will come out of it? Hummm,O.K let's wait and see!.Yoruba Adage says "GBOGBO WA LOLE,ENI ILE MOBA NI BARAWO",meaning "We're all thieves, is only those who are caught that are criminals"!.Wat happen to the past committees and their report "NOTIN".Point of correction. That is not a Yoruba adage. It's a criminals' street saying. Yoruba culture seriously frowns at stealing. You should know better if you're Yoruba. |
@speedy I've made my point. Even if one talks from now till next year, some of you still won't comprehend it. |
cashmentor: Maybe u should take a look at all my Post here in NL, then conclude for yourself if i do work at the NA or support corruption in Nigeria? Bunch of Trash.... EveryOne here knows i'm 1001% against Corruption, Gej and the present Nigeria system....it's absolutely not functioning....and blowing up the NA still won't solve the problem, why? Because Corruption flows in the Nigerian Blood, our system promotes, advertises and eat it....u could do worse with such powers as that in the NA, or i could do even the unthinkable.... It's just about your morals, upbringing and values..my friend, society make us what we become....You guys always get it wrong. Corruption does not flow in Nigerians' veins. That is a BIG FAT LIE. If there were no laws in the US, Americans would be more corrupt than Nigerians. All human beings have the propensity to commit crimes if there were no laws to punish them or if those laws are not enforced. The problem in Nigeria is LAWLESSNESS, which has reduced the country to a jungle where anything goes. We only need some serious leaders and you'll see Nigerians sit up. Look at the case of this subsidy bribe taker Lawan and the giver Otedola, everybody knows it's going to be covered up as a PDP affair and nothing will happen to the guys. That's the problem with Nigeria. IMO, we need an upset to the system, a shock therapy. |
cashmentor: Blow up the place? Only to raise another set of criminals.... Will he also blow up the Police, the Lecturers, the average corrupt Nigerian, the Medics, Nigerian Students, Pastors or Imams, will he equaly blow up Aso Rock and all our past leaders? ?I support u 100 %, buh that won't solve the problem! You sound like you work in the NA or you eat from the massive corruption going on there. Let the guy do as he threatens first, then the remaining people in Nigeria will see what happens next. By the way, Mr UNABOMBER (aka Man of Native God), in case you're reading this, i support you o. Fast-track it abeg. Less than 1% of politicians and senior civil servants in Nigeria of today deserve to live. |
Mallam, On point noo ni. I agree with you. |
ziga: The biggest problem with Naija is Nigerians. You're right on that one. Nigeria is indeed a hopeless country. Nigerians are the foolishest people in the world. How can you ask for your rights when you don't even know them? |
Odenigbo Aroli: Abeg, get out of here with your weak forming; I have seen countless Nigerian girls who brag about having a degree but still cant write a standard English. Yes,most Omata boys didnt go to school but they are disciplined enough to work hard and achieve riches while your hateful and pathetic skinny bone a..ss is here taking panadol for another man's headache. Those names are cute and for the fact they dont resonate with you doesnt change sh..it! So,fhuck off, loser!!This is too much now. The topic is just meant for laughs. Abeg don't take life too seriously. |
omoabike: I stopped supporting the doctors when I heard on STV News that one of their requests to call off the strike is that they should not be made to pay income tax on the money that they were asking to be paid. That's not true. They complained that their tax was too high and asked it be negotiated down. How can you work and not pay tax? NUPENG, good move. It's doctors today, could be anyone tomorrow. Fashola is on rampage. |
You guys still don't get it. The so-called bunkerers are oil thieves. The oil companies pay millions of $$$ for licences and more millions to drill the oil. It's left for them & NNPC to decide who lifts it, indigenous or foreign. It's not some free flowing oil waiting to be scooped. The oil companies seem helpless today because of these thieves. Anybody who wants to lift oil should register a company and bid for contracts. Alami-whatever is a criminal and is only advocating for the impossible on the behalf of his fellow thieves. |
I think wearing ties in Africa is crazy. It's hot here men. It's worse if you're not an executive. I see guys on Okadas and in the Sunday afternoon after-church heat. I can only pity them. Even in Japan, causal wear is now encouraged in offices so as to conserve energy. I'm lucky though that my job doesn't require wearing one. Perhaps I'd wear shirts with ties printed at the front |
emorse: you go school at all? All the guy was trying to say was that the people should obtain licences to supply fuel to vessels(bunkering) LEGALLY instead of doing it through the back door as it is currently done. Wether you like it or not, Nigeria depends largely(im being modest) on the south south. If you get beef, GO HUG TRANSFORMER!!!!!Ignorance na serious disease. Oil companies pay reputable oil service companies to transport crude to purchasing countries and you're here comparing them with oil thieves who break pipelines, steal crude and make free bucks. So, in your eyes, the oil industry is Mushin market where anybody comes and sells. |
emorse: Thank you o bross. Abeg help me talk am again so all those TRIBALISTIC MUMUS that wont spend a second to think before opening those poo holes they call mouths to talk would hear. Abi na south south people say make una no fit manage una own resources too? It's you guys who're the empty heads for not understanding the context and trying to sound smart. |
Only in Nigeria, where criminals rule. |
ABAMI EDA = STRANGE BEING/WEIRD CREATURE |
Buhari spoke the minds of a lot of people. Nigerians are frustrated with this criminal enterprise calling themselves the govt. They have realised how dumb they were to vote the dumbo based on religious and ethnic sentiments. I hear people everyday wishing Boko Haram bombs the National Assembly and Aso Rock. They're not sadists - that's just a sign of frustration and hopelessness. Personally, I don't see anything good coming out of this govt who don't even admit that we have any problem. Meanwhile, corruption has consumed the entire nation. It's just so sad to find ourselves in this mess. |
When are we Africans going to abandon all these religious crap? The world is developing at a very fast pace while we are killing and arguing over some crazy religious ideologies concocted centuries ago when people's eyes were still on their butts. |
Most Nigerians are empty heads who don't know their rights, esp the young people. Fashola is turning into an EMPEROR and you're sheepishly hailing him. O ma se o! |
mikeapollo: We Nigerians encourage bad governance with this kind of ignorant/stupid talk.God bless you for this. Fashola is an insensitive capitalist emperor. People should stop worshipping him. |
blacklion: Any suggestions for a good mechanic/workshop in Lagos for Toyota Sequoia SUV?If you're in Lekki-Ajah axis, try the CitiWebb guys i described 3 posts above. |
Workshop/Mechanic: CitiWebb Auto Centre Speciality: Most common car brands. They have specialists for each brand. Location: Km 23, Lekki Expressway, Ajiwe, Ajah. Opposite Jeffery Plaza & Close to Fidelity Bank. I heard they have another workshop at Phase 1. Contact No: 0810 608 1883, 0803 535 5245(Jide) Personal Experience: They answered all my questions, explained everything to me before touching the car. In short, excellent customer relations. They have all the right equipment found in a modern workshop. Positives: Reasonable/affordable charges, far better than AutoMedics at Ikeja. Very professional and technically sound. Highly recommended. Negatives: None so far. Please note that I'm in no way affiliated with them. I've just been searching for good mechanics for a long time and I'm glad I've found one. |
This guy is really r-e.-t.a-r.d-e-d. |
babaowo: good idea but many jobless folks in other states will troops out and claim they are area boys, and they will furstrate d effort,it will better if other states doing similar things. Why are Nigerians so negative? Let the school start first. The challenges will be resolved as time goes by. Na wa o! |
Of course the economy is growing in Aso rock. Awon oloriburuku jati-jati. |
2011 Indeed! This is a circa 2002 model year. I hope the moderators are seeing this false advertisement. |
Mr Inspired, Let them know that you're buying cars for oil companies' STAFFS o. Oil companies don't buy tokunbo cars. I like your cars though. |
I know the urge to buy a car is strong but there is no reasonable car you can buy for N30k. Even if you manage to get one, its maintenance will kill you. Remember you still have to do other things out of your N5k allowee o. And you don't want a car headache to distract from your studies. If you have to move around and it's safe to ride a bicycle in your area, you can buy a very trendy/sporty-looking bike for well under-N20k. Or in the extreme, a used motorcycle if you fancy that, only problem is that people may be hailing you thinking you're an okada man. If you don't fancy either of the above, just be PATIENT, face your studies and ensure to get a 2:1. When you start working you'll buy more than a car sef. All the people you see buying multi-million cars now were once Legedes-Benz drivers before but everything has its own time. |
