Jew is an abbreviation of Jude which is a shortened for of Judah. This was the name typically given to Israel after the 10 tribes of Israel were dispersed by the Assyrians. Judah is one of the trelve tribes of Israel and of the tribes that survived the dispersion.
Please learn your history Don't take my words for it. confirm if this is true !

-- [Luke 9:29-32 GW] - While Jesus was praying, the appearance of His face changed, and His clothes became dazzling white. Suddenly, both Moses and Elijah were talking with Him. They appeared in heavenly glory and were discussing Jesusâ approaching death and what He was about to fulfill in Jerusalem. Peter and the men with him were sleeping soundly. When they woke up, they saw Jesusâ glory and the two men standing with Him.
This was much I have from the Bible reference: They were talking about Jesus' death, suffering and exit at Jerusalem. But the witnesses who were supposed to capture the full details of the discussion or message were sleeping or weren't paying attention. However, Peter shared that testimony in "2 Peter 1:16-21."
Yes, Enoch did not die because he walked with God, and that means tree of life (Living forever). Whoever walks with God cannot die.
John the Baptist wanted or desired to join Jesus Christ in ministry, and become His follower or disciple too; but the Lord Jesus Christ wouldn't allow him because the Lord Jesus Christ wanted John to continue on his own path and calling to fullfil all righteousness. This was the meaning of what John said to Jesus, "I wanted to be baptized of You, and You come to me?" And the Lord Jesus instructed John the Baptist, "Let it be so for now to fulfill all righteousness."
There were few others too that wanted to join the Lord Jesus Christ as His disciples or followers, but the Lord Jesus wanted them to instead handle another ministry or assignment He called them to do somewhere else. E.g. the former madman that was healed and delivered from legion of demons, begged to become one of the followers of the Lord Jesus Christ; but the Lord Jesus Christ would not, but sent him to go evangelize his community (Mark 5).
Even the Lord Jesus Christ said Himself, "I have other sheep (people) that are not in this fold (among His followers then); and that He will later gather them and join them together so that all would become one fold and He will be just the One Pastor (Shepherd) over all" [John 10:16].
Nevertheless, by the time the Lord Jesus Christ began to admit followers or disciples, John the Baptist was already locked up in prison. This means, John was first arrested before the Lord Jesus Christ began His own public ministry and calling disciples or followers. Soon after John baptized the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord Jesus went for 40 days fasting; and not long when He returned John was already arrested before the Lord Jesus Christ began preaching "Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand." As it is written,
-- [Mark 1:12-15 MKJV] -- And immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness. And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan. And He was with the wild beasts, and the angels ministered to Him. And after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God draws near. Repent, and believe the gospel.
So it's was not even as if John was free but refused to join the Lord Jesus Christ, but that John the Baptist had to be removed and replaced by the Lord Jesus Christ as the next Light-Bearer. So John was in prison hearing the miracles and teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, before he sent some of his disciples to ask the Lord Jesus Christ whether He was the one to come or should we expect another?
1. As the Disciples were all Sleeping while Moses and Elijah discussed Jesus Death, who now informed the Writers/Writer of Gospel of Luke but failed to inform the Writers of Mathew, Mark and John about the discussion?
2. So, it was not only Elijah that didn't die. Enoch belongs to that Group too.
3. So, apart from what Jesus came to preach, there are other Ministries? Interesting....
Lukgaf: In this transient world, uncertainties surround every aspect of life, except one â death. It is an inevitable reality, a journey we all must embark upon, yet the when, where, and how remain elusive.
Recently, I came across a poignant post on NL detailing the demise of a brother merely two days into his UK study venture. Another account recounted the passing of a fellow brother following a seemingly trivial headache. Such stories serve as a reminder that our turn will come, but the hour is unknown.
So, are we preparing for the inevitable? Are we repenting from our sins? Are we striving to be better individuals each day?
This is a call to evaluate our actions, align them with moral values, and strive to live in a manner that pleases Allah.
Contemplating the certainty of death is not meant to induce fear but rather to inspire a meaningful and purposeful life. It is a call to righteousness, self-reflection, and sincere repentance.
sagenaija: [size=6pt][/size] Waiting for lululuku69 to respond. When you tell them this is Islam they cry "Show us!â When you show them from their books they begin to go into the " magic of reinterpretation" of their books. Islam has always presented itself as what it is really not. They say it is a religion of peace. You will discover that they actually HATE every other person and are more EAGER to fight than pursue peace. They say Mohamed is the BEST of example. You look at his life and see a caravan raider, pedophile, warmonger, slave owner, had more wives and sex slaves than the koran prescribes for any Moslem, etc, etc. And you ask "What is the best of example here to be followed?â They have been sold a dummy and have accepted it hook line and sinker.
Lol
I can see that you have quit crying over Hagia Sophia.
For your info, the Prophet did not take any new wife after the Restriction on 4 wives came. And if you must wail about wives, Abraham add 2, then added Keturah after Sarah and Hajar passed on. Moses had 2, David had more and Solomon had how many?
If Jehovah did reprimand them, why would an Idiat as you do?
U people will do anything to exonerate your prophet.
What did your prophet do to the stupid blind man who killed his wife and the innocent baby? That all I want to know.
Did the Prophet asked or told him the Blind Man to kill those who abuse him?
Please search and bring where the Prophet expressly asked his Companions to kill his abusers.
That the Prophet says no revenge be carried out on the blind man is neither here nor there and can't be taken as an interpretation for subsequent actions just like when Jesus refused to sanction the stoning of the Woman taken in Adultery.
Or does it mean that since Jesus doesn't condemn her, Adultery is now Legal?
A blind man had a female slave who had borne him a child (umm walad) who reviled the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and disparaged him, and he told her not to do that but she did not stop, and he rebuked her but she paid no heed.
One night she started to disparage and revile the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), so he took a dagger and put it in her stomach and pressed on it and killed her. There fell between her legs a child who was smeared with the blood that was there.
The next morning mention of that was made to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and he assembled the people and said: âI adjure by Allaah the man who did this to stand up.â
The blind man stood up and came through the people, trembling, and he came and sat before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). He said: O Messenger of Allaah, I am the one who did it. She used to revile you and disparage you, and I told her not to do it but she did not stop, and I rebuked her but she paid no heed. I have two sons from her who are like two pearls, and she was good to me. Last night she started to revile you and disparage you, and I took a dagger and placed it on her stomach and I pressed on it until I killed her.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: âBear witness that no retaliation is due for her blood.â
(Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Sunan Abi Dawood 4361).
Lukuluku dey lie small small now. How can u say no one was killed for slandering your prophet. Na wa o. Such a bold face like in the public. Make Una dey fear this God o.

EconomistXplain: ... knowing that we all (male and female) love to marry higher classy people. and we regard the pos guyz and ladies as very low class / income level group. can you take the leap and marry one of them i mean especially when u are a working class...
I ask this question because my best guy took to POS, he makes good income nd is now getting past his ideal marriage period. ge says, he seek to marry a lady who works, mayb not very high level income worker, but just good job... unbelievably, his type of job has been reason "all" ladies wouldn't even look at him, all of them citing same reason.
"God forbid, not me nd POS husband"
plz people anything so bad with the job..?
No be human beings dem be?
Or are you saying ALL POS Operators are single guys?
How about you tell those that can't read like me, these are simple questions and opportunity for you to tell us about your prophet and explain the post, muslim wants to touch those questions especially that last one, and I will repeat, will muslims continue to murder in defense of mohamad's name if you believe that he will not approve?
Going thru the History of the Prophet's Life was there any mention that his immediate Companions killed anyone for slandering the Prophet?
In the Quran, is there a command or any command to kill anyone who slander the Prophet?
There was a time Moses and Elijah came to the Lord Jesus Christ on the Mount of Transfiguration, while Peter, James and John, were close by. They were speaking with the Lord Jesus and talking about His death and sufferings which He was about to experience in Jerusalem. As soon as they were done delivering their message and about to return to heaven, Peter and the other Christians who unfortunately were sleeping and weren't attentive to grab the details of the message or discussion began talking about setting up three tabernacle there on the mount, one for Jesus, another for Moses and the third for Elijah.
Elijah truly had been coming and speaking as witness from heaven, and not just him but some of God's messengers who still have their parts in witnessing even in the last days. Infact, in Revelation 11, two witnesses of God (men of God) who never died on earth before entering heaven and becoming part of heaven shall eventually be sent to walk the earth again and witness as men of God. Then they would later be get killed and die for the first time on earth: for it is appointed to man, "Once to die" or man can only die one times, and not more than once. Then in about three and half days, they would rise from the dead and ascend into heaven physically.
Elijah came in spirit in John the Baptist to prepare the way of the Lord Jesus Christ then, and Elijah comes even in our last days or era of Christians to prepare the way of the second coming of the LORD. Indeed, there are men who have already began to hear him as the Voice that speaks in the wilderness.
1. Can you quote for me what Moses and Elijah said about Jesus death at the Transfiguration?
2. Enoch did not die too according to the Bible.
3. But John the Baptist never joined Jesus in his Ministry neither were John's Followers. As a matter of fact, John sent his Disciples To inquire from Jesus if there would be another one after Jesus.
Larryndelaw: This are the same people accusing the govt of not paying workers salaries. Common one man business you can't pay your staff. Thank God Lagos rejected your husband

The streets of Abidjan were the scene of wild celebrations on Wednesday night following the surprise qualification of the Elephants of Cote dâIvoire for the Round of 16 at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations. Both the old, young, male and female storm the streets chanting and expressing joy at the new development After their shocking group stage collapse, culminating in a humiliating 4-0 defeat to Equatorial Guinea, the odds were stacked against the hosts.
But Morocco did the Elephants a huge favour by beating Zambia 1-0 in San Pedro, making the impossible possible. Cote dâIvoire are now in the knockout phase as one of the best four third-placed teams. Before the lucky qualification, the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF) earlier on Wednesday released an official statement saying they had terminated the contract of 70-year-old French coach Jean-Louis Gasset and his assistant Ghislain Printant. Gasset, who has coached for more than 35 years in France and Spain, took over in Cote dâIvoire from Patrice Beaumelle in May 2022.
PCHC: ELIJAHâS WARNING TO CHRISTIANS AFTER HE WAS TAKEN TO HEAVEN
The Living water belongs to anyone who will drink it. You did not see it because you did not look for it; and you did not see Him because you did not seek to see Him.
Even the youngest disciples are taught where to find the Living water and how to drink from it daily. Is there no discipleship left? Did you not have a mentor to teach you this?â
Natural waters may run dry or absent in the some of the driest wildernesses, but the Living Water never runs dry nor absent in any wilderness or desert. The living water is available to sojourners at any time and in any place, if you stay on the right path. When you are on the right path it will always be close to you, so find it, drink it often, and never go far from it. This is one of the most basic lessons you must learn for where you are headed and what you are called to do.â
Everything on the right path changes over time. Even though you have been here before, it did not look like this. You must understand this for the journey. The familiar things you are looking for to give you bearings are not the same, and you are not the same. Therefore, your guidance must come from your heart, your spirit. You must see with the eyes of your heart more clearly than you see with these eyes, or you will not stay on the right path.
There is more than one path, and all but one go to a place you do not want to go. There are delusions, deceptions, distractions, and traps all along the path. They are all there to divert you from your purpose. It will take more discernment, more wisdom, and more courage to stay on the right path than anyone has.
One road mark you can trust to keep you on the right path is the Living Water: It is sure compass and guide in your map through any wilderness or way. Always walk close by the Living Water, and always drink it whether you are thirsty or not, so long as you can drink more. Do not lose sight of the Living Water, less you get lost.
You donât think youâve ever been as close to death as you were just a few minutes ago. But after drinking this Living Water, you donât think you have ever been this alive. You have a mental clarity you donât remember ever having except when you were before the throne. Just a few minutes ago you could hardly think at all. Now you wish you can be this way all of the time.
You not only can be this way all the time, but you must remain as you are now all the time. Whenever you are in the Spirit, you are before the throne of God. His kingdom is within. The King is in you. You are His temple. To walk in truth is to know this and to live in His presence.
Until one is born again they cannot see the kingdom. But just because they are born again does not mean that they see it. Few of those who are born again in these times are opening their new eyes, their spiritual eyes. Few who are coming here now have seen the kingdom. It is a marvel that any get this far with so little vision. This is why so few are making it through even part of the wilderness.
The Lord gave the warning, âWoe to those who nurse babes in these timesâ, or âWoe to those who keep their people in immaturity in the last daysâ [Matthew 24:19, Mark 13:17, Luke 21:23]. His warning was trueâthis is the great tragedy of your time.
It is the tragedy of your generation to have brought in the greatest harvest of the age, but then lost most of it. There is an even greater ingathering coming, and this must not happen again.
There is great rejoicing at a single sinner that repents, and there is great lamentation when a single one falls away. There are not many true disciples because there are not many true shepherds (pastors). You have excelled at making converts, but you are not making them into His disciples. The Great Commission is to make disciples. The Lord gave a definition of what a disciple is, and we have few who make it even this far because you are not making disciples. This is the bane of your age.
The church leaders have given themselves to building organizations and churches more than building people. You do have some great ministries and organizations being raised up, but great saints are becoming rare. The great commission is not to go into the world and build great cathedrals, ministries and organizations; but go into the world and make disciples of the Lord.
This is why the judgment of teachers is even more severe. Your shepherds (pastors) have been feeding themselves and have not taken care of the people. Now the final battle is near. We have an army where even its leaders do not know how to fight. Right now few could even survive the first attack. There are already many needless casualties because of this.
I came at the beginning of the age to help prepare the way for the Lord then, and I have come again at the end of the age to prepare the way for Him again. I do this by helping to prepare His people. Now the first thing that must be done to prepare for Him and the times is to make the leaders into disciples. They will not know how to make disciples if they have not been disciples.
No one can make it on this path who is not a disciple, and they certainly wonât last long in the battle without being one. There should be multitudes that are on this path now, but there are few.
You are the generation that was given the greatest resources, the most knowledge, the most freedom, but so few have come to the knowledge of the truth. Where are the shepherds?â
The last shall be first. The generation emerging is called to be the greatest of all. Right now, it is in the worst shape of all. This happened on your watch. Even so, âwhere sin abounds grace does that much more abound.â There is still grace available to change this if you repent.
The fabric of Christianity in your time is very thin. You are as weak and unprepared, but this path will prepare you, and I will help you. I was with John the Baptist to do this in his time.
It begins with repentance. You cannot stay long on this path without a strong foundation of repentance. You must be quick to see your sinâquick to see your mistakes and to correct them. Some of you are quick to see your sin and mistakes. This is helpful, but you have not been quick to correct them, and that can be your doom. Repentance is more than feeling sorry for your sin, it is turning from the sin.
Only a foundation of repentance will keep you humble enough to walk in the grace of God. Humility is to be teachable and dependent on the Holy Spirit. This has not been a foundation that many have built upon in your time. You must start with preaching and teaching repentance. You must start praying for the Spirit to come to convict of sin. Your generation hardly even knows what sin is.
I prayed for the judgment of God to come upon my own nation. Then I had to challenge the false teachers and prophets of my time. This is a basic duty of the prophets. Where are your prophets? Where are your apostles? Where are the shepherds who will protect Godâs people from the great deception of your time? Why are the wolves allowed to devour Godâs people right in front of them and they do nothing?
I was taken up so that I would not see death so that I could return to prepare the way for the Lord. The Baptist loved the people enough to warn them. He loved them enough to risk his life to tell them the truth and to stand for the truth that could set them free. Where are those that can be used to prepare the way for the Lord in your time? Where are those who will even risk being rejected for the sake of the truth?
Op, did Elijah preached to Christians? If not, how can you say with your full chest that he was "Warning Christians"?
immortalcrown: The alcohol is for only non-Muslims. No wahala. This means inclusiveness. Saudi wants to allow every man to eat what what his religion allows. That's good.
But I have a question. What about non-Muslims who are in Saudi priaons because of alcohol? Will they be freed now?
You will be surprised to find out that there will be Restrictions as to where you can drink.
As for Non-Muslims caught with Alcohol, the Law of the Country subsist. Deportation, fines even Jail Terms.
mbaise1000: Well well well, my question will be, who are the better muslims, the Saudi muslims or the nigeria hisba muslims? My next question will be, is osama bin laden a good or bad muslim? Who can define a good or bad muslim based on and with emphasis on the lifestyle and teachings of mohamad? another one question will be, will muslims continue to murder people in defense of mohamad's name if they know or believe that mohamad will not approve?
Open the Quran, read and your questions Will be answered.

Someone that was earning N30,000 in 2019, is he/she earning N120,000 now? To be able to meet up with the economic realities?
Na wa o with the level of inflation going on in the country.
I would rather snack on Coke and Biscuits than pay #1,200 for that then wait till I get home to Cook.
