I wish more video girls would be less opportunistic and more entrepreneurial likie Melyssa Ford. Any person with a calculator know that the $5000 these girls are paid is peanuts in comparison to the millions grossed in record sales, royalties and airplay. The fact is; your a*ss may get you in a boardroom but only intelligence will keep you there. How many of these girls really do business with thesese rappers and record execs? It's their choice but they need to be real and not idealistic because whether they like it or not; their integrity is being compromised. Who wants to hire the "Salt shaker" girl even iof she is qualified? Be a grown woman; make your decisions. Although; I prefer to make decisions that wont bite me in the a*ss. |
People have forgot God because you put your post in the wrong section. This is a religion post. |
You shouldn't have best friends beyond primary school. They are temporary. You should have true friends, honest friends, trustworthy friends and friends with integrity. All in all you should have as few friends as possible. BTW if she betrayed you; She's not your best friend. She's an envious, opportunistic BiTcH. |
@ reto Thank you for being REAL. I don't have the time, energy or patience to invite someone so selfish back into my life. I never told him to leave; he did that on his own accord. There's no excuse for him. As for me, I have all the excuses in the world not to build a relationship with him. |
In my mind In bed last night |
sweetnini:Wishful thinking In bed last night. |
Your list is WRONG. 10 Tupac 9 Eminem 8 Jean Grae 7 Talib Kweli/ Big Bot of Outkast Can't decide 6 Michael Franti of Disposable heroes of hiphoprisy/Spearhead 5 Mos Def 4 Chuck D of Public Enemy 3 KRSOne 2 Afrika Bambaataa 1 Grandmaster Flash If you don't know- now you know. |
ddizzle:@ ddizzle- Wat was that about? I'm not perfect! Never will be, never professed to be. Besides, you don't know what I'm like. |
I want to be. I want to breathe. |
That girl in bed last night |
breath from another in bed last night. |
exu:lol @exu It's true- the bible forbids the eating of pork, that doesn't stop people from chowing down on ham sandwiches at the church picnic. |
lol thanx. I thought it meant immature/erratic |
@ funketobi- Maybe you need to read my comment again and stop being shallow. Read between the lines my friend. People say vague things that apply to all people because it's a way of drawing people in and making them feel they can relate. |
skylolyng:Taking a man made text and believing it word for word without compromise- that's stupidity. Do you honestly think that you're so great in the eyes of God just because you're straight? That judgemental streak is hardly scriptural. What's even more stupid is the fact that you think that you can be "one of them," as you so eloquently said, by choice. People are born gay and discover it through life. Let gay people be. These same things that people say about gay people, are similar to what was said about Jews, Black people and every other persecuted group since the beginning of time. I'm anti-segregation. If gay people want to go to church, they are free to do so. However ignorant, homophobic attitudes would discourage anyone from wanting to congregate in church. |
Horoscopes can be quite similar to church at times. They say things that are general and apply to everyone. Aries, "You regret something you did that you knew was wrong" Pastors say the same thing. |
Forgive someone for something, anything. I forgive you, Teacher, for telling me I was "work shy." I just hated your class. Oh well, i'm gettin Straight A's now biatch! But I forgive you teacher. |
I pledge to not let anyone break me. To not fall (back) into depression. To stay sane. |
I have no underfriends. Honestly I can count my friends on one hand. I take friendship very seriously. |
After watching home movies, I want to know what "raz" means. Someone please tell me. |
naijababe:That's a beautiful and profound thing to say. |
Got a piercing without your folks' permission? |
All the things your man won't do in bed last night. |
50 Cent. Then he'll know the true meaning of his name. |
@ Babwilms I only know Nkem Okoh out of the three you wrote. I don't know either. |
Romance is the key word. When we're being romantic, we're making someone feel special and showing that we appreciate them, showing them that they're loved. Sometimes it's the romantic, non-sexual side of the relationship that keeps it new. Go on dates - Or stay inside and listen to good soulful love music. Eat a nice meal-candlelight. Give a massage to and compliment the one you're with. Remember why you love that person and let that inspire you to do something nice for them. As long as you both reciprocate- that should keep romance in the relationship. |
NO! Who the hell is qualified to tell you who to spend the rest of your life with? Or if you're ready? Or if they're ready? |
@ mochafella- The trush hurts my friend. ![]() |
Keith Sweat - The King of New Jack Swing. Without him there would be no Usher, R. Kelly, Joe, Ginuwine, Tyrese, Mario, R. Kelly - Not a classic. Luther Vandross - Stella classic in every sense. RIP. Brian McNight - Not a classic. His only great song is "Anytime" All the rest are below par. Prince- I adore this man. He is the personification of music and one the most talented people on this Earth. Michael Jackson - I don't want to comment. When he was black he was a classic. I just had to say it. Gerald LeVert - Not a classic. he's alright. Great voice. Average material. Babyface - Yep he's a classic. He just shouldn't make any more records. Bobby Brown - Not a classic. Hey he was the precursor to Usher so I rate him as the 2nd man of New Jack Swing. Johnny Gill - Killer voice. "My, my my." is the jam! Not a classic but I've got love for him. |
Who gave birth to you? Your mother. She brought you into this world; it was her pushing. It was his sperm. That doesn't make him a father outside of the biological sense; as artificial insemination and deadbeat dads show us. If he raised you; he's your father. Other than that, well my previous statements show what I think of the matter. |
@Diddy CLEARLY you haven't been in this situation. I too want my kids to have granparents HOWEVER when he walked and left for 15 years of apathy and silence, HE LOST THAT RIGHT. stormz:What a crock of s*hit! When he rejected you, he left you with nothing. You rejecting him won't leave him without a father, financial and spiritual support, encouragement and paternal love. diddy4:He didn't bring you into this world. Your mother did. And he sure a hell didn't keep you here. mamaput:This is genius. Isn't is a "coincidence" that parents some back to see the people (strangers) their children have become? When you were struggling and growing you couldn't see them for dust. I would simply say "I've seen you now and never again. Peace." |
