Okay people! We've talked about it for days on end. At the auditions,we made friends and enemies,and derailed and of course,picked our choices.

Its here now- The very anticipated Wooing Challenge!!!

As Eze would say,its time to separate the boys from the men. and the onus would lie on the ladies to make their decisions on who did it better. it promises to be fun,trust me!

Expect a moment of love, free flow of emotions, suspense, romance, intrigue and absolute fun. I must warn you though,some comments here would really crack you up!

Due protocol should please be strictly adhered to.The participants of this show are bold men who've got the game,stunts and confidence to win a lady's heart. They have been alloted slots already and the lady who is alloted them, picks the guy whose lines tickled her fancy most.

A new wooing thread would be created after the slots are complete. Then,the challenge would begin. The lines would be rendered on the new thread,not as a personal message. She would then pick the moniker that blew her away with his lines.

I should probably add that u are free to do some underground runz...with her,I mean. You can create a relationship befor the main challenge. I hope I have answered your questions. Cheers!

I don't think the fault is exactly ours. Not too many guys are signing up,and that's sorta discouraging. If derailing the thread wld make it more lively,I'm game! (I'm not talking on behalf of killz and D-X though).

Hi people, its Nairaland's romance section's most anticipated Wooing Challenge!!!

Do I hear a *whoop* *whoop*

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS

- A male participant
picks any lady he wishes to woo.
- He then gets another dude who becomes his challenger in the battle.(And then,it gets tough!)
- On the D-day, his slot will be announced, and he types/posts his lines for the lady to read and select the one who made her heart melt.

GUYS PLEASE NOTE

- The lady you pick must be an active user of the romance section.
- If the lady picked isn't available that day, you will be auto re-sloted.
- You can do some
"underground" research to properly woo your "lady" or win her heart.
- Slots would be alloted based on who indicates first.

THE AIMS

Basically,this challenge is;
- for the fun of it
- for the promotion of open-mindedness amongst members
- to further promote cordial relationships amongst members
- for positive interraction
- to check our levels of intelligence,
- for love connect

And so,all that said,if you are a Handsome,Classy guy,Suave and Debonair,with all the right things in the right places, and you think you've got all it takes to woo that romancelander of your dreams, all you gotta do is nominate yourself.

It sure is an ancient city,but the picture the op put up is like taking an aerial picture of the old oshodi and calling it Lagos!

Those houses with brown roofs have been there since time immemorial and truthfully,they cannot be taken down. A lot happens under those brown rusted roofs...

I particularly look 4ward 2 spending a couple of days with locals who stay there. I'm sure there wld be a lot 2 learn.
Long and short- those brown rusted roofs take up like 20% of the city.

Ibadan isn't this terrible! Come on!!!

Thankyou for this lovely and really down-to-earth post got my ribs cracking at some point though.

If you knew me in person and felt I bragged,I probably would feel terrible and try 2 right my wrongs,but all u know abt me is this person on the internet. I would never have replied you if it was a moniker I was seeing for the first time,but I quite remember u we're under that same impression during the contest(I guess u used the moniker,50calibre).
Not that I owe u an explanation,but just for the records; and for the sake of posterity,I wasn't bragging. I was asked a question,and I answered accordingly.
