BusinessRe: Why Won't People Use The Online Stores In Nigeria by lurkee(f): 5:50pm On Nov 24, 2011
lighternote:
when power n internet issues r solved,d online purchase method I employ in Nigeria is divine"pay on delivery". chikena! That's my own way of solving security/trust issues.
LOL grin That would work out well for the customer but think about the business owner.

Imagine spending money to deliver items and people have forgotten to wait for it/no longer interested/not impressed with the quality and countless other reasons that might stop them from paying on delivery. That would hurt any start up business. Also the business would lose out on impulse buyers.

Fhemmmy:
No power, No good road for delivery, No security . . . . . No Trust
This is the big issue. I would be very worried if I entered my card details on a Nigerian site because I do not think the guarantee is there from the banks that there would be a refund if something went wrong. Until a paypal-like system is operational in Nigeria where you can transfer money to a reputable company who then pays on your behalf with no direct access to your personal bank account, then most people would keep staying away. In my opinion.

Nigerian guys are generous  cheesy Always offering to pay for things even though they know that you will never date them. I guess it makes them feel better about themselves and it would be selfish for me to deny them that pleasure  wink

Sexkills nawa for you oh. Kai!  grin

For me aesthetic impairment is not as important as physical/mental disability. At that point the person could no longer be the person you fell in love with and it would be hard to fall in love with this "new" character. This is in dating though. If you are already married then that's your cross for life because you took a vow to stay together "for better, for worse"

why is it difficult for most  ladies of this generation to submit to a man? Personally I think a submissive lady is what any real man need to enjoy a wonderful relationship. But where can we find this obedient, submissive and honorable women that will always honor the men in their lives irrespective of their social status?
For obedience and submission to you, you can always hire a maid or get a dog. If I am to "submit" to my man, he should get ready to submit to me too. No one in the relationship is higher than the other. Of course there would be compromise but that comes from mutual respect and love. Though I would not openly disagree with him and I would expect the same because it is embarrassing and disrespectful to publicly disagree with your partner but that's just me.  smiley

Thank you!

@OP, well you have written a nice super story there but did you forget she has a boyfriend? You say she is shy and good natured but she is hanging out in a hotel with a man that is not her boyfriend because he is out of state. Just think that despite her "sweet and innocent" nature, she could easily do the same to you.
RomanceRe: deleted by lurkee(f): 5:05pm On Nov 10, 2011
To me,

It seems like she sees you both having intercourse as a gift from her to you so she expects you to hold it in high regard and not dismiss it like plain sex. She also seems to think that guys only want sex and now that you have gotten what you want from her maybe you wouldn't want her any more. Like people have already said, she is a bit insecure which is OK. It is up to you as her lover to remind her that you love her(if you do) and that there is more to your relationship than sex and it is only an icing on a beautiful cake.

Maybe you should also mention gently that sex is not a gift and she should stop guilt tripping you with something you both enjoyed.  undecided

Overall, she seems like a sweet person that truly cares for you so be a man and show her you feel the same way.  wink

RomanceRe: Brothers, What Do You Mean By A "natural" Woman by lurkee(f): 1:26pm On Nov 07, 2011
Hey Nayah,

I think what guys mean by a "natural" woman is a woman where nothing artificial is obvious. In my opinion, most guys cannot tell the difference between a girl wearing make-up that is tastefully done and a girl wearing none. As long as the hair is not crazy long and wild, and the nails are not some vixen red and up to 6 inches in length with lips painted in a natural colour, most guys will say the girl is natural.

Most guys will consider this woman a beautiful "natural" woman but we ladies know better.  wink

@lurkee no one is hating on him. Its his life and everyone is entitled to their different opinion,if you don't agree with peoples views, then you should be on a private website ie if there' any atall. Am not hating on him so get your facts right.
I only ask my questions on a neutral basis, or don't I have a right to do so? He already gave his reasons which are of his best interest,so no need for you to start swallowing panadol for some esle's headache. Besides keep your opinion to yourself and if you have issues go and sort yourself out!
I hope I have not offended you because I did not single you out in my post. What I meant by "haterade" was the negative response to the positive thing the OP did (sharing his personal life with us). So if you were not hating, there was no need to respond since I did not mention your name. There is no need to start saying I have issues (which I don't)  kiss

Nawa for the haterade on this thread oh. Such venom!  lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

Please if you have nothing positive to say, just keep it moving. Shikena!

At OP, please don't continue to defend yourself over the website and the personal pictures. If you want to share the pictures of your wife and kid please continue to do so, they are adorable. I don't see how that is a "breach of privacy" because YOU wanted to (assuming your wife is OK with it).

smh at people who would make baseless accusations at someone like calling them a scammer when they haven't lost a dime to the person. Did he take your money from you that made you call him a scammer or it is because he is advertising a website for his friend like he has said a countless times.  huh huh huh

Besides?!?!?!

Mr Man, the first reason should be the fact that you have a girlfriend and not because you happen to work in the same office. My advice is to spend more time with your girlfriend instead of fantasising about someone else.  huh

EducationRe: Nigeria Adopts - 1 6 3 3 4 Education System by lurkee(f): 1:25pm On Oct 26, 2011
Sun of god:
Indications have emerged that the Federal Government has dropped the 9-3- 4 system of education.

Rufa'i said the new system would now be known as 1-6- 3-3-4, signifying that the first one year of education would be for a child of five years.

The six-year component would be for primary education, while the other three, three and four years would be for junior and senior secondary and tertiary, respectively.
Before they say that the age of starting education is 5years, they should make sure it is 1-6-3-3-4 and not 1-6-3-3-(4+x) where x is determined by the amount of time spent as home due to strikes, political violence and whatnot.

Like someone said, how is going to improve the quality of education? That 3 years they spent coming up with the "new system" by diving the 9 to 6 and 3 and then adding one year extra, they should have used the salary of the committee members to increase the teacher's wages and provide textbooks to poorer students. Honestly, the priority of our politicians amazes me.  angry angry angry

My perfect man has to be comfortable at least has a house of his own,a steady source of income, committed in our relationship, generous, a good sense of humour, tall and well built, caring, intelligent,he has to love me cos sometimes I can be difficult, above all he has to be God fearing. But it's too bad that my boyfriend is not committed at all,he doesn't call when he says he will and this breaks my heart.
Maybe he shouldn't be your boyfriend then  embarassed  lipsrsealed

I think I can be difficult too but some guys like that - at least my bf does. Not everybody wants a stepford wife who is always agreeable and angelic, you will be surpised that the ones with angels will cheat on them with "bad girls". Just be yourself and someone will love you for that.  kiss

intelligence
humour
temper
pocket size

hmm maybe everyone has a list then and it does matter. probably with age/desperation it will start to get shorter till it is just:

I want someone with some imperfections so I can look pass those reasons and still love em.

Who wants a perfect robotic kinda person? That is like calling boredome upon yourself.
Nooo thats the point, the person would not be robotic and you will never be bored. You will still have arguments on rice/amala for dinner or who should turn off the light when you are both in bed but you get a perfect man anyway. Come on, please play along  cheesy
