safarigirl:Am not trying to make u look dumb....i just made a simple remark. Check the first page of the thread, apart from the OP I was the only person that commented for a whole week. If tight defenses don't win games, ask Germany(2014 WC) Or Chelsea in EPL,how they win games if not through their lovely defense(since u seem to know soccer well). As per AFROBASKET,ask Senegal how they won us in 2013 if not for a good defense that checked our free scoring forwards n outscoring us in a low scoring match. Shalom |
SSGUniport:She assumed office in 2012,then she was 37. Doesn't that make her a youth? Do you know how many Naija men/women claim 30 when they are actually 42 just to be able to partake in NYSC? At some point,I heard a certain political party's youth leader was 60.....#fainted |
safarigirl:Madam, this isn't football that they use head to head as a way to judge teams...We have a good scoring ratio n they got a tight defense, period! |
I really just wanna praise your effort in following my second love in sports...I remember as a teen when I watched the 2000 olympics and followed Basketball keenly. The Dream team(USA) and Lithuania really wowed me. I wished we played that year...it has always been Senegal or Angola all these years. Funny enough Nigeria was the first African team to win an olympics game back in 2012. I would follow this thread and follow the team keenly in Tunis. Hope we win this time...well-done OP |
Really moving! ![]() |
This is my 2nd hometown oooo....Minna, Niger State |
ozijay:Wonder the parameters NFF used in picking him as the coach....This is the most talented female National team we have had ever(no disrespect intended to previous teams). We shouldn't waste the golden opportunity now. OKON either shapes up now Or shapes out for ever |
icon4ss:I agree Its not a must to change players in a match, but when you notice that players are showing signs of fatigue in a match, please use the bench. I could vouch for the likes of Courtney Dike that she would have done wonders out there. Its the freaking WorldCup not smaller |
ozijay:He is just not a coach with a high IQ. Our midfielders were tired at a point, still didn't make changes. Even seeing the time added as 3minutes I expected him to make 2 sub's at least to waste time,he still didn't. I was Shocked! |
Wonder y a whole National team Coach made no sub's for a whole game...First time I am seeing this ever.. Congrats to the girls...the coach had no inputs |
SemuhleB:I checked ur profile and other comments cos of this your comment. Honestly, what's with u n Nigeria?.... how come u have NEVER made any positive comment about Nigeria?...U got issues with us?... Men/women cheat not cos of their nationality. Sister, keep calm, Nigerian men rock(absolutely)... |
Nice looking couple really |
Scares me the way this country is going, Nigeria is basically Bankrupt n yet these people still keep buying properties outside Nigeria in droves. Question is,has anyone really ever ruled us in Nigeria for decent purposes? Nigeria my Nigeria The ever bleeding 'supposed' giant. |
This can't happen in Nigeria |
The greatest officially recorded number of children born to one mother is 69, to the wife of Feodor Vassilyev (b. 1707–c . 1782), a peasant from Shuya, Russia. In 27 confinements she gave birth to 16 pairs of twins, seven sets of triplets and four sets of quadruplets. Numerous contemporaneous sources exist, which suggest that this seemingly improbably and statistically unlikely story is true. The case was reported to Moscow by the Monastery of Nikolsk on 27 Feb 1782, which had recorded every birth. It is noted that, by this time, only two of the children who were born in the period. 1725–65 failed to survive their infancy. 4 x 4 = 16 7 x 3 = 21 16 x 2 = 32 ---------- 27 births 69 children Found this out while doing a research and thought I should share. Is this still possible? |
Teespice:I don't think handing over would make any change(for now). The corrupt politicians of PDP also migrated to APC.... Nigeria is on a down low ... Question is .....Don't we still producing oil even if its for less than half the price last year? Don't we have a 'thriving non-oil sector' like they claim we do? Why are we borrowing to pay salaries, when people still live in luxury in this Country? |
Teespice:Scares me like hell what would happen in the coming months... Nigeria is broke...honestly...Yet we had over 48 billion dollars in our foreign reserves about six years ago, what happened to all of it...Glad u made the point n it seems no one has noticed yet.... Terrible |
TunjiMsp:I love ur dream.....lolzzz..but I know of dudes that would do it for far lesser |
'Keeping up with the Adebayors' would make a hit reality series on E. That being said,I think it shouldn't have even bothered to write this piece. It would even make the family members look more important than they truly are. He should just let everything go... |
Thought of this too before.....if the social media page is private,y change the DP often as if you have something u are offering for sale? If it is commercial it even should be encouraged...People get attracted to expressive pictorial images. Changing photos often is a no-no |
Ghanians......... Laptops ![]() |
Even the football world is talking about the Manny n Floyd fight... I have to go for Mayweather. I think it could go the distance and be won on points. It will be a lot closer than people think, but Mayweather will be too sharp and too quick.” Chris Smalling @ChrisSmalling Manchester United & England defender “Pacquiao wins the fight in a decision. The fight will be long and gruelling and this favours Pacquiao. Mayweather throws a lot of punches. But eventually stamina will be a factor and Pacquiao can take punches.” Tony Meola @TMeola1 100-times-capped USA legend “I think we are in for a steep battle in which I’d give Mayweather a very slight edge – 51 to 49 per cent. Why? Mayweather’s bigger and better tactically. He’s like the Mourinho of boxing! He keeps cool and stays focused on his goals. He’s undoubtedly a great fighter and he has a good chance of retiring undefeated. As for Pacquiao, he’ll certainly push forward, look for the knockout. He’s sharp, fast, has knockout power. However, I’d still make Mayweather the slight favourite.” Artyom Dzyuba Russia striker “I'm going to back Money over Pacman as his unbeaten record speaks for itself! I expect Vegas to root for Money in a crazy atmosphere!” Mikael Silvestre @IamMSilvestre Former France and Manchester United defender “I'm a massive fan of the Pac but I think Mayweather will take this one out.” Tim Cahill @Tim_Cahill Australia legend & scorer of one of the greatest goals in FIFA World Cup™ history “I think Mayweather will win on decision. There will be no KO.” Petr Cech @PetrCech Chelsea & Czech Republic goalkeeper "I'm rooting for Manny!" Rafael da Silva @orafa2 Manchester United and Brazil wingback “I have always been a Mayweather fan. I have followed his career, so I won't change now! It's going to be a tough fight but I fancy Mayweather to win. It will be very close, but Mayweather always comes out of a tight situation.” Kalusha Bwalya @KalushaPBwalya Zambia legend & 1988 African Footballer of the Year “I have two Filipino girls who work with me, so I'm rooting for Pacquiao!” Domenico Criscito @mimmo_criscito4 Italy defender “I think it goes 12 rounds.” Lukas Podolski @Podolski 10 Third most-capped Germany international in history “Should be a great fight! While I'm not a big fan of flashy and self-promotion, I think Pacquiao will win on a decision.” Brian McBride @BMcBride20 USA legend “I’m going for Mayweather simply because he's never been beat and I don’t believe he’d have taken the fight if he didn't think he could win!” Micah Richards @MicahRichards Manchester City & England defender “Without knowing the ins and outs of boxing, Mayweather on points. But I wish this was five years earlier!” Brad Friedel @friedel_b USA legend, Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper & multiple record-setter in the Premier League “Mayweather. He’s too quick and like him or love him, he's a winner.” Stuart Holden @stuholden USA midfielder “Pacquiao is going to win by KO.” Fredy Montero @goleador17 Colombia & Sporting forward “I think it will be win for Mayweather on points, but I want Manny to win. I love what he represents as a human being.” Robert Earnshaw @RobertEarnshaw Former Wales striker “I’m a big fan of Mayweather, but this one will be difficult. However, we’re rooting for Floyd.” Andreas Pereira @andrinhopereira Brazil & Manchester United prospect “I'm going Mayweather. He is The Money Team. He has never lost. I don't see it happening now. Pacquiao may have had a chance ten years ago.” Cobi Jones @cobijones USA’s most-capped player |
SAMBARRY:How old is she now? |
SAMBARRY:Babe(can I still call u DAT?) am good ooo..Bennett is a big boy now ...we now have to keep everything away from his reach...Its not easy(phew)....How is my daughter-in-law (Wura)....Help me give her kisses ooo |
Heavyweight Boxing has never being this boring as it has been over a decade with d 'Kliscko' bothers ruling that division. Maybe that's the reason why everyone is talking about the more interesting division in Boxing these days. Manny or Mayweather ![]() I would put my money on the philiphino congressman any day. I hate loud, boastful and arrogant dudes like Floyd. |
like she said 'people like her mum who were raised by a mom and a Dad would never understand what she went through growing up' Fact is if u are gay or lesbian, u have no business raising kids as a couple. This was the same thing Dolce and Gabanna said(both being gays) and instantly they became enemies of the Lesbian and gay community in Europe n America... No one is judging anyone, just don't circumvent nature. Period!!!! |
coolbibz:Bros, You might work for MTN,be a propaganda tool or a direct beneficiary of their scholarship for all I care. MTN has never been useful to the broader Nigeria... If they wanna go,fine. They should be our guests for all we care. Nigeria can always Nationalize MTN or sell the vacuum to other very willing bidders we don't care. If Nigerians are being treated badly or killed in their own country, telling them to leave our country is a fair way to protest. I wonder why some Nigerians are self-centred. Why should anyone(u inclusive) make job lose a blackmailing tool? |
NosoChic:Who is stopping u from starting a business if you want to? How are the Asians stopping ur trade?. Its simple logic,I won't switch off my MTN phone but instead campaign for us to Nationalize all south African businesses in Nigeria. The Nigerian Government shouldn't just be laid back in every situation, it kills the national spirit. Any Nigerian gets killed we shut all South Africans in Nigeria down. Enough of Black South African low self esteem |
RickRichards:Baffles me too...guess its low self-esteem |
I am about to buy a 7kg washing machine on alibaba, how much would it take for you to help me ship it to Nigeria? |

he must be a big boy by now?
