1) Flush your radiator water and add Radiator coolant to avoid overheating
2) Inspect your Camber Bushing and stabilizer bushings at the front, they determine the stability of your steering.
3) Flush your break fluid and ensure your break Master and Servo are in good condition for active breaking system, use manufacturer recommended brake fluids
4) Ensure that your tyres have not expired. From the manufacturers date, you shall see 0216, this means 02nd month of 2016. Tyres expires after 4yrs.
5) Any time you enter porthole and your car seems to loose balance then your shock absorber is most likely bad. If there is Oil around your shock, its likely to have gone bad. Or If it does not come out slowly, then it needs replacement.
6, Change brake pad and linnings with known brands
7) When on speed and your Bonnet seems to vibrate, then you need to do wheel alignment but if the steering shakes, then you need wheel balancing.
8, If your car is miss firing then do the following:
a, Replace your Fuel pump filter
b, Service your injectors, nozzles and change spark plugs
9) When driving and suddenly you notice that your steering has gone one side, it's a sign that one of your back tyres is too low.
10) Finally, as you drive and you notice your automatic gear does not change very easily. Then you need to service your gearbox or replace the gearbox oil with the right specification.
It is written on the dipstick.
11, Replace your engine oil and filter with good grade synthetic or semi-synthetic, manufacturer own is best option.

I saw a car scanner on Ali express and out of curiosity I bought it.

Used it on my vehicle and it produced a code P2413 Exhaust system recirculation performance.


I strongly doubt the quality of the scanner cause I expected more codes to show (I'm a huge novice though). My check light, caution light, VTM4-VSA light, ABS light and TPMS are all on.

Please what's the implication of this code?
Can I trust the scanner?
What do I need to work on?

I've taken the car to be scanned by an "expert" in the past and he said he'll clear everything and after wasting my time, the lights are still there.

I'm still searching for another "expert"

Please what could be the fault, what needs to be checked or replaced?

P0141 is O2 sensor but that is not the proplem that triggered the Vtm-4 light. Your abs sensor or module is bad

i think you bought a substandard shaft,i changed shaft on my honda and its being 2 years now despite passing through bad and terrible roads everyday.

Manner of changing helps prolong life of the shaft, some mechanics that do manual replacement spoils the new shaft

Hello distinguished, I recently experienced some problems on my Honda City 2006. If I attempt a cold start, the vehicle makes an attempt to start but goes off with the oil symbol coming on. If I attempt to start the engine after that, it comes on without any symbol on the dashboard.
While the engine is idling, if I engage the gear with the Ac on, the car jerks uncontrollably from stop but normalizes as I drive off.
I have an inkling that the oil light coming on is a result of the wrong oil change my mechanic did two weeks ago(He used 20W50 instead of 5w20).
I scanned the vehicle and here are the codes I got:

Good day all,

I use a 2005 4cylinder Honda Accord and recently i noticed that on start up my fans come on and go off after some 20 seconds at idle.

It started this odd behaviour recently so i think my thermostat is starting to fail. Funny enough if i hit the thermostat housing a few times and restart the car, the fans don't come on. Then some other time it repeats this after a few drives.

I did a simple scan & these codes came up p0111, p2183, p0122.


So, is the stuck thermostat responsible for these codes and if so, what do i do? Change the thermostat or direct my 'rewire' � to remove and inspect the thermostat? Or is it outright change that is the solution?.

All baby boy 4 cylinder engine use the same gearbox, both America and Europe spec, the only ones different is the UK spec and V6.

If gears have issues after being sold, a trusted rewire is sourced by dealer to rectify it and in the event that it cannot be rectified, a replacement is made upon returning the former gear or a refund if no other one available.
Services of reliable gear rewire was turned down twice and gear speed sensors requested by op which was sent to him.
Called my attention late August that he wants a replacement and was not ready to return the previous one which is NOT a norm in auto parts transactions globally. Was willing to do that but told the op it can only be done when i am personally around and asked him to call me on the weekend to see if am back.
Saw a text from him instead calling me a criminal who intends to defraud him and as matter of principle, i don't respond to offensive communications in transactions.


Will need the op to point out the criminal intent observed by him in all my transactions with him within the next 24hrs, if he does so successfully, i will refund the 85k plus and additional 15k to him and post the transaction details here.
