Connect the laptop to an external monitor to verify. I just connected the system to an external monitor but still having the problem . I believe yhe motherboard has crashed. |

The final Premier League match of 2014 sees Liverpool host Swansea City live on Monday Night Football. Brendan Rodgers guided Swansea to promotion to the Premier League in 2011 and his former club currently sit three points clear of his current one in the table. Both sides enjoyed 1-0 victories on Boxing Day, with Swansea beating Aston Villa at home and Liverpool winning at Burnley, but the Reds have won just two of their last eight Premier League games at Anfield. Team news Simon Mignolet will return to starting XI at the expense of the injured Brad Jones. The Belgian had been "indefinitely" dropped by Rodgers, but was called upon from the bench when Jones suffered a thigh injury against Burnley. Fabio Borini returns to the squad following suspension but defenders Dejan Lovren and Glen Johnson (both groin) and Jon Flanagan (knee) are still not fit. Swansea winger Jefferson Montero is set to miss the game after he damaged a hamstring against Villa, although he will be assessed in the next 24 hours. Garry Monk is set to rotate his squad with possible recalls for Jazz Richards, Wayne Routledge and Bafetimbi Gomis, while on-loan Spurs midfielder Tom Carroll could replace former Liverpool man Jonjo Shelvey. Opta stats After just one goal being scored in the first three Barclays Premier League games between Swansea and Liverpool, there have been 16 in the last three. There have been three goals scored in the opening five minutes of the last two league meetings between these two teams. Shelvey has scored in both of his appearances for Swansea against his former club. Last season’s 3-4 defeat is the highest scoring away match that Swansea have been involved in away from home since they reached the Premier League (seven goals). Wilfried Bony has scored the first goal of the game in three of his last four starts away from home for Swansea. Paul Merson’s prediction “I’m going for a Liverpool win here but it’s a very hard game. Swansea are a very good football team and they’ll go to Anfield and pass the ball as well as Liverpool. But Brendan Rodgers will be happy with his side’s performances of late and they are starting to string a few results together. They can continue that and pick up a hard-fought 2-1 win.” PAUL PREDICTS: 2-1 http://www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/313569/preview |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Westbrom Vs Manchester City (1 - 3) On 26th December 2014 by luvola(op): 4:08am On Dec 25, 2014 |
Manuel Pellegrini will be looking for his Manchester City side to keep the pressure up on Premier League leaders Chelsea when they go to West Brom on Boxing Day.
The Hawthorns has been a happy hunting ground for City in recent years with the Premier League champions unbeaten in their last four visits in the league.
With Pellegrini’s striking options limited once again, he will be looking for Yaya Toure to continue his goalscoring form – the Ivorian has hit four goals in his last six – as City have won the last 18 Premier League matches the midfielder has scored in.
West Brom will be hoping they have turned a corner at home despite suffering a 3-2 defeat at the hands of QPR at Loftus Road last time out.
Alan Irvine’s men squandered a 2-0 lead in west London but will be hoping to take more confidence from a 1-0 win over Aston Villa in their last home game.
The Baggies have won just four home league games in 2014 with Hull the only present Premier League team to have won fewer in this period.
Team news
West Brom have Chris Brunt, who has been out of action since limping off during Albion's draw at Hull City, available for selection again but Victor Anichebe is out for the visit of Man City.
Georgios Samaras is likely to return to the squad after travelling to Greece for a family matter, while Graham Dorrans should be fit despite not training on Tuesday due to a tight calf. Boaz Myhill is also a doubt after suffering from illness.
City will again be without any senior strikers for the trip to West Brom. Sergio Aguero, Stevan Jovetic and Edin Dzeko are all still absent, while captain Vincent Kompany also remains on the sidelines.
Jovetic and Kompany are the closest to returning and could play some part in City’s festive fixtures, according to Pellegrini. The City boss also confirmed that left-back Gael Clichy, who missed the Palace game after a minor knock, is fit. http://www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/313566 |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Burnley Vs Liverpool (0 - 1) On 26th December 2014 by luvola(op): 1:04pm On Dec 24, 2014 |
Brendan Rodgers will be looking for his first Boxing Day win as Liverpool boss when he takes his side to Burnley on Friday.
Martin Skrtel’s last-gasp header earned the Reds a point against Arsenal on Sunday, but Rodgers will be hoping for maximum points over Christmas as his side faces one of the easiest runs – on paper – of festive fixtures.
It has not been plain sailing for the Northern Irishman this season, nor has it been for his Burnley counterpart. Sean Dyche has endured a tough start to life in the Premier League, who sit in the bottom three going into Christmas.
The Clarets picked up a vital win over Southampton before succumbing to defeat at Tottenham on Saturday, but the manner of their performance at White Hart Lane pleased the manager and he is drawing on the positives going into a key period of the season.
Sam Vokes could return to the Burnley squad for the first time since March. The Wales international stepped up his recovery from cruciate knee ligament damage by scoring twice for the development squad on Monday and is being considered for a place on the bench.
The game looks to be too soon for Michael Duff (calf) and Stephen Ward, while Matt Taylor is in contention following an Achilles injury.
Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli returns from suspension but will only be on the bench, while Skrtel, who required staples in his head after sustaining an injury against Arsenal, is set to feature for the visitors.
Fabio Borini is suspended following his dismissal against Arsenal, though, and Joe Allen (knee), Dejan Lovren (groin), Glen Johnson (groin), Jon Flanagan (knee) are not fit, while Daniel Sturridge remains a long-term absentee. http://www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/313558/preview |

Marc Muniesa has recovered from the hamstring problem that kept him out of that match, while Stephen Ireland should have shaken off a knee injury. Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is likely to return after two matches out with a muscular injury. Didier Drogba and Kurt Zouma are fit after recovering from knocks sustained in the League Cup win over Derby. MATCH PREVIEW Chelsea are the new Stoke. Seriously. According to Opta, 38.5% of Chelsea's throw-ins this season have been long - a higher proportion than any other team in the Premier League. The key to Chelsea's rise to the top of the table might well have been Branislav Ivanovic, Cesar Azpilicueta and colleagues channelling their inner Rory Delap. Lawro's prediction "Stoke beat Chelsea at the Britannia Stadium last season and they will have another good go at them this time too. Chelsea are a better team than they were 12 months ago, though, and will not be rolled over as easily." Predictions: Lawro v Olly Murs Only one defeat in 25 games this season, Chelsea have scored 60 goals in those 25 outings, but can Mourinho's men do it on a cold Monday night in Stoke? Actually, the Monday part is significant. Stoke haven't lost any of their last six Premier League games played on a Monday. The Potters have honed their offering under Mark Hughes and are clearly more than a long-throw operation these days. The graceful Bojan Krkic sums up Stoke's new sophistication, but as a team they are still well able to roll up their sleeves and get stuck-in when needed. Arsenal were bullied to yet another Britannia defeat a fortnight ago, while they also won against Manchester City at the Etihad earlier this campaign. Having beaten Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal last season, Hughes' side clearly know how to trouble the big boys. Only once in the last four years have Chelsea come away from the Britannia Stadium with all three points, and that one league victory probably needs to have an asterisk beside it. The victory for Chelsea in January 2013 was Jon Walters' infamous "Bad Day At The Office". The Republic of Ireland forward was celebrating his 100th appearance in the Premier League. He duly scored two own goals and missed a penalty. If Stoke were to win this game by a 1-0 scoreline, remarkably Chelsea and Manchester City would be in a dead heat at the top of the Premier League for Christmas. Both teams would have the exact same figure in every column across the table of played, won, drawn, lost, for, against, goal difference and points. MATCH FACTS Head-to-head Stoke's only win in 12 Premier League meetings with Chelsea came in this fixture last season, when they won 3-2 with a last-minute winner from Oussama Assaidi. That match is the only time the Potters have scored in their last six Premier League games against Chelsea. Stoke Stoke have won one of their last five Premier League matches, a 3-2 win against Arsenal in their last home game. The Potters have conceded a goal in each of their last 10 Premier League games - it's the longest run without a clean sheet in the top flight this season. Current Stoke manager Mark Hughes made 123 appearances and scored 39 goals for Chelsea during his playing career. While with the Blues, he won the FA Cup, the League Cup and the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. Chelsea Chelsea's only league defeat this season came in their last away match, when they lost 2-1 to Newcastle. The Blues have lost only one of their last 19 Premier League games played on a Monday (W11, D,7 L1). Eden Hazard has not scored a Premier League goal away from home since January; his last 11 goals in the league have all come at Stamford Bridge. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/30474063 |

@Luvola...Take (more) heed to the quoted post please. All is well bro. Also ensure your mindset about certain concepts aren't changed yet because of your state. That would be the greatest blow. I am someone that believes good things can come easily(especially if God is fully behind me). And always remember, no matter the factors 'for' or 'against' us, we are still responsible for our destiny.

Koffies: Luvola, I've seen you on a thread before oo, I think it should be kpmg's. I got dropped at the partner level interview and you can't even imagine how depressing it was getting that far and being dropped but I knew I am employable to have even gotten that far with them. I won't say you shouldn't pray or fast or whatnot but I'll suggest things you could do to better yourself. I noticed a lady (beauf, not sure of the spelling) asked you one question and you answered something else, she even hinted you that you didn't answer her question. Perhaps you could work on comprehending things so you'll understand what each interview question actually demands of you. Many times, we feel we've said something while we've not even brushed the question. It also never hurts to improve your confidence level and grammar. Don't use big words if you're not sure of their meaning or if they fit that context. I've had more recent disappointments sef asides kpmg. I failed Access bank's test by one mark and I was telling my mum that my village people have a hand in my case. Looool but I think I didn't prepare well enough. I'd rather be realistic than depress myself with thoughts of existence of village people. Anyway, find something doing asides your online retail business. Volunteer at a small audit firm or whatever firm you deem fit. I got a small job to manage till my breakthrough comes too and my original intention was to volunteer at the firm without pay but the MD gave me an offer letter instead and though the salary is small, things will get better. I attended an interview on Thursday so the struggle continue. |
