okrote4real: Is Yoruba Nation A Christian Agenda?— Islamic Body Warns Church Over Creation Of Yoruba Nation Christian Association
...The Islamic group claimed that its establishment is coming before the creation of Yoruba Nation itself.
Nigerian Islamic human rights group, Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), has urged the Christian Association Of Nigeria (CAN) to stop the inauguration of a Yoruba Nation Christian Association (YORNCA) by a church in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
The association which would be officially launched by The Power Apostolic Church International on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, was criticised by the islamic group, saying the creation of the organisation bearing the name of a non-existent nation, would purportedly suggest the agitation for a Yoruba nation as a Christian agenda.
Prof. Ishaq Akintola, Director of MURIC The Islamic group claimed that its establishment is coming before the creation of Yoruba Nation itself.
MURIC, however, called on the leadership of CAN to intervene and stop the inauguration process.
According to a statement by the Director of MURIC, Professor Ishaq Akintola, on Monday, the inauguration plan is reckless, immature and an attempt to put the cart before the horse.
“The inauguration of a certain group to be called the Yoruba Nation Christian Association (YORNCA) is billed to take place on Wednesday, 28th July, 2021 at the Power Apostolic Church International, Arulogun Road, Ojoo, Ibadan, Oyo State. Already, a letter of invitation has been sent out to guests. Unfortunately, however, the letter of invitation has leaked and gone viral on social media.
“We assert that the inauguration of an organisation that bears the name of a non-existent ‘nation’ is, to say the least, reckless, infantile and an attempt to put the cart before the horse. Which one should come first, the ‘nation’ or the organisations that will be formed within it?
“Do we have a Yoruba nation already? Has the Nigerian Constitution which describes the country as ‘one indivisible and indissoluble Sovereign Nation’ been amended yet? Can you build an illegality on an illegality? Can you build something upon nothing? YORNCA or whatever it calls itself should therefore wait. It cannot exist in a vacuum.
“MURIC pays special attention to the last sentence in the last paragraph of the letter of invitation where the organisers gave the reason for forming the organisation (YORNCA): ‘The reason being that, it is now we can catch our Land for the Lord. Shalom!’
“We find this sentence worrisome. Because it presupposes that the real motive behind the agitation for a Yoruba nation is to ‘catch’ Yorubaland ‘for the Lord’. Well, the cat is now out of the bag. All the noise about marginalisation is therefore mere smokescreen intended to deceive Yoruba Muslims in particular and the general public in general.
“So the question must be asked by rational people. Is the Yoruba nation project a Christian agenda? If not, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) should call the Power Apostolic Church International, Ojoo, Ibadan, to order. We are aware that CAN had earlier dissociated itself from all kinds of separatist and insurrectionist projects. That puts CAN in the right position and gives it the moral right to call any church which is promoting chaos to order.
“For the avoidance of doubt, MURIC does not consider the Yoruba agitators as enemies. But we disagree with their methods. They are becoming overzealous and they can only make things worse for the same people they claim to be fighting for. They must eschew violence, threats, blackmail, subterfuge, false propaganda, intimidation and coercion.
“For the records, we reiterate the questions posed by MURIC to Afenifere and other Yoruba groups in our press statements of 16th April, 2021. We asked Afenifere and Yoruba agitators, ‘What do you have in stock for Muslim children and women? What is your plan for hijab? Is it as dictated by CAN? Is there any provision for civil shariah which Yoruba Muslims have been demanding for ages? The response of the agitators to these questions will go a long way in determining their readiness to tolerate Muslims or it will only confirm the plot to continue oppressing us.’
“The above were the questions we asked Afenifere and other Yoruba groups four months ago but no response has been given to date. Then out of the blues came this letter inviting guests to the inauguration of a new version of CAN in the yet to be realised Yoruba ‘nation’ claiming ‘…it is now we can catch our Land for the Lord. Shalom!’
“So we must ask again, is the Yoruba nation project a Christian agenda? Are Muslims and other groups just being used to actualise another crusader dream? Is CAN listening?” the statement read.

Dears,
Please I need your advice.
I have an official car so I sold my own car in 2018 so as to complete my building project since I wasn't really using it.
I now live in the new area. Unfortunately my company just started a new policy guiding the Operational vehicle.
1. My driver alone can drive 2. It must be driven to work related places 3. They installed camera(picture/video+voice capture) so as to monitor it and some colleagues have been caught.
My house is far from main town and I really need a Car that is economical, efficient and a bit fancy.
Please advise on specs that in the range of 300K.

Christianity Etc › Re: Answered: Can A Christian Lose His Salvation? by LVStone(m): 8:23am On Mar 10, 2019 |
unstoppable51: From #FeedMeJesus.com,
The idea of a Christian losing his salvation is one of the most debated topics in the body of Christ today.
This argument has left so many Christians ill-informed about salvation, fearful and worried over where they will end up after their departure from this earth.
Some not having a proper understanding of the subject have been caught up in the endless circle of answering altar calls over and over in order to retain or renew their salvation so they won’t end up losing it totally due to their wrong actions, words and thoughts.
To find out the possibility of a Christian losing his salvation, we need to first understand what salvation is and how it came about, else we will be drawing up conclusions that have no strong footing in the scriptures.
What is Salvation according to the Bible and how is one saved?
Salvation in the scriptures is gotten from the Greek word SOTERIA. In this context it has to do with man’s complete deliverance or rescue from sin and it’s penalty which is spiritual death and eternal separation from God’s presence.
It involves God coming through for man in order to bring him closer to himself in a loving relationship by imparting into him eternal life, which is the God-kind of life.
Having being rendered powerless and helpless by sin, man’s only way of avoiding the utter destruction that was coming ahead of him was going to be via a Saviour. Someone whom sin and death has no power over, someone whom God has raised by Himself for the whole world to be saved through Him.
“And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
“Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.” Acts 13:32-33 & 38-39.
ALL who BELIEVE in Him are JUSTIFIED from all things. Not by the works of the Law but by Faith. They are seen by God as if they had never sinned before when they believe in God’s grace to save them.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
So a man receives salvation by faith, not works else salvation is no longer a gift but a reward or wage. The scriptures we have seen clearly explains this.
When a man believes in the Saviour Jesus, he (the man) by faith receives the Life of God in his spirit and is said to be born again, that is, saved from sin and its eternal consequences.
He has received God’s biggest gift to man which is Salvation in His Son through faith.
So can a Christian lose this God’s gift of Salvation for any reason after he has received it by faith and perish with those who never accepted the Gospel in the first place?
The bible answers this for us. Let’s see together the book of John Chapter 3, from verse 14.
“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:14-16
Twice it is stated clearly in the above verses that whosoever believes in him SHALL NOT PERISH.
The “perish” there has to do with “complete destruction from the presence of God”, the fate of all those who did not believe and receive the gift of Salvation that God has given the world through His Son.
Jesus further explains this in chapter 10 of the same book of John, verse 27 to 29.
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: AND I GIVE UNTO THEM ETERNAL LIFE: and THEY SHALL NEVER PERISH, NEITHER SHALL ANY MAN PLUCK THEM OUT OF MY HAND. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and NO MAN IS ABLE TO PLUCK THEM OUT OF MY FATHER’S HAND” John 10:27-29 (Emphasis mine)
No man (including the believer himself) is able to pluck the one God has already saved out of his hand.
So in God’s hand, the man who has believed in Jesus for Salvation is safe, fully kept by God Himself unto the last day.
Now will there be times when he act, say and think wrong thoughts? Yes, many times.
But will these wrongs or sins cost him his salvation or separate him from God? The scriptures never said that.
In fact, Paul the apostle was so sure of the inseparable eternal union the believer has with God through Christ that he wrote.
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, NOR THINGS PRESENT, NOR THINGS TO COME, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39 (Emphasis mine)
The reason he was this sure that not even things present and that which is to come (sins) would be able to separate the believer from the love of God is simply because God is not counting the sins of the believer against him. Salvation took care of that.
“To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:19
God does not impute or count ours sins against us anymore. As a matter of fact, He keeps the believer secured in His love and will present him before the world “faultless” on the last day, as though he had never sinned in his entire life.
“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” Jude 1:24-25
God is able to keep you from falling as a believer, you don’t have to be restless with the thought of keeping your salvation or losing it. As a matter of fact, you are not the one “keeping” your salvation, Salvation is what is keeping. And He will keep you till the end.
So can a Christian lose his Salvation? It is as impossible as it is for God to lie!
He saves and keeps us saved, forever! Glory to His name!
Encourage someone today by sharing this beautiful truth with him or her.
You are much loved!

Salvation can not be lost but the Joy of salvation can be lost as well as Hell fire is real. 1. Lossing of the joy of salvation when a christian sins Psalms51:12 [12]Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. When he repents the joy of salvation is restored but if he continues in sin Grace leaves him Romans 6:1-2 [1]What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [2]God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? So when the grace of God leaves a man he continues in sin and does so with Joy. This continuos sinful life is what leads him to etternal damnation either through death or at rapture. However, God through his love will keep drawing him if he comes bavk before either death or rapture he will be restored. Does this give us licence to sin and keep asking for forgiveness? NO Spiritual growth guarantees a sin free life through Grace of our lord Jesus and not your works. Therefore after being born again, seek for spiritual growth through the Holyspirit by studying your bible and attending a church where spiritual growth is possible and not all these noise making shops where some people get their money from and where peoples flesh are appealed to and dances off to hell. Friend, its all about perception, what exactly is your perception to life? For me, my life is in Gods hand but he has given me the privilege to make certain reasonable decisions. No body owns your life and is there anybody you wish to impress or compete with? You should impress yourself and compete with yourself alone, live within your income and be sincere to yourself. Even if your fiancee isn't comfortable with one room and that's the best you can honestly do right now let her go, get a woman whose perception about life is not about being possessive rather being visionary. I have the money to rent a three bedroom apartment but I decided to live below my income because of few things I wish to achieve and my fiancee is quite understanding, we would be getting married in months in our convenient place even though we can the resources to do more than that. Moneyfem: WHY YOU SHOULD BEWARE OF UNLICENSED ONLINE SMALL LOAN APPs
Beware of all the online apps that give out small loans in order to harvest your BVNs. Most of them are doing so just to use their access to your BVN against you in the near or far future. Don't forget that banks always warn all their customers not to reveal their BVNs and card details to anyone. They are meant to be kept secret. Don't forget that you won't be poor for life. A time is coming when you will become so big that you will have millions or billions in your bank account. That's when most of the unregistered and unlicensed loan app admins are patiently waiting for to launch their well calculated attack.
Below are some other facts about them and why you shouldn't bother getting that 10k loan by which they will know your BVN:
1. Most or all of them are not registered with the CBN and NDIC and other relevant regulatory agencies. Don't be surprised that some are not even registered with the CAC, which means they are illegal in the eyes of the law.
2. CBN, NDIC and other financial regulatory agencies frown at their activities and so, they warn the public regularly via jingles and lectures not to reveal sensitive and private financial details to them.
3. Most or all of them don't have physical offices. Their office is on the web/app and they try hard in a diplomatic manner not to let anyone know their exact address. I hope you've not forgotten about MMM. If any bad thing happens to your bank money through them, you're on your own. Beware!
4. Even the big and CBN-registered banks don't splash out loans like that. This should even make you suspicious that if big and well established banks are wary to 'dish out' money to all and sundry, who are those behind the phishing apps to entice people with meagre loans just for them to have their BVN? Maybe anyone can help answer this question.
Bottom Line Beware! Most loan apps are getting people's BVNs to defraud them in the near or far future. A word is enough for the wise!
Thanks for reading.
