Please never say never in medicine.
Simple question, "what do you mean in reference to any of my above statements"..

And what were you taught about labour, it's phases, prolonged and false labour, it's management and it's complications.

You have been privileged to have information, so you don't be silly.

"Perform a total hysterectomy on a woman and tell me if she will ever have a child againhuh? (Ps: and don't try to be smart by telling me she can freeze her eggs, that's just pathetic) Never say never my blood foot.

Don't argue with them any more. No doctor will force you into using CS for your delivery when you Don't have any complication. I do post date but won't allow them to induce me, even when they suggest it for me. And this people here are concluding for those with the experience. Is that not funny.
I just tire with this level of ignorance...Jesus Christ!!!!

You are very correct ma, same way no doctor will force you to stay alive or for your foetus to live, if you decide to put yourself and your unborn child at risk... E.g if you have grade 4 P.P and your doctor advised you on CS and you refuse and run to a maternity home because you don't want a knife to your belly...... Your family should get ready for a burial.

I'm going off this topic, but one last advice; take your doctor's advice or pay the price ( it might cost a life ) nobody has time to force anybody Biko.

You are just beating about the bush.

The bottomline is that a woman can labour for 4 daya...real labour. That is the crux of the matter. No point arguing further.
Since you have refused to learn, no point teaching you..... I have already screenshoted all your arguments and posted on my group.... Everyone is having a good laugh over your silliness, na your picture I no come get.....enjoy your day and your ignorance "it is bliss indeed".

False labour...you mean Braxton hicks? They usually send the woman back. I had Braxton hicks twice and both times I wasn't admitted to go into labour because it wasn't the real labour.

We are talking about real labour where the woman is dilating but slowly.
You have heard about and had Braxton Hicks good for you and I believe you now know what real labour( what is normal labour and how long should it lasthuh?) is good for you also...

But have you now understood what "false labour is"huhhuh

Also check prolonged labour and come back to me again, let me be directing your learning for proper enlightenment ma.

Have you had a baby before?

Are you in the medical field or work in a hospital?

As long as the baby is not in any danger throughout that period and the mother doesn't want to opt for CS, it can happen.

Besides, I know mothers who were in labour for days.
Don't talk what you have no knowledge of.... Whiteshield has cleared the air on the facts and you are still arguing....... What do you understand by false labour, go and browse it and quote me if you understand it.

I have learnt not to come to any conclusions in matters like this until I hear both sides of the story. Chances are the husband neglected and abused her, but then again her death may be the result of medical negligence. In any case, the husband should cease running and give the dead lady's family his own version of events. May God comfort all her loved ones.
For the sake of civility lemme try to keep this short;
I am not sure you read the post, if you did, then you didn't understand the post; the Doctor made a diagnosis of Antepartum haemorrhage (possibly placenta abruptio) and advised for immediate emergency CS, but no one to sign consent form and the doctors hands are tied, meanwhile the woman kept bleeding inside and lossing blood for almost 48hours, before the husband came and still opted to carry her to another center..... and you just open mouth waaaaaaa "medical negligence" I am quite sure you don't even understand the meaning of that word.

That man is an animal and should be made to answer for the crimes of domestic abuse and withholding his late wife's right to proper health... #Abuja pastor but you carry your wife to go born for maternity tufiakwa#

How did u survive it?
I heard, try not to panic or move around much,
Identify the snake,
Quickly tie a tourniquet at the proximal part of the limb,
Call for help
then make an incision on the bite place enough to let blood flow
Place some black stone on the incision ( I heard it helps to draw out the poison, don't know how)
Get urself to a hospital quickly or a snake charmer..

Prevention; always wear a rain boots when stepping out into the bush or farm, especially if you live in snake infested regions, snakes most like will bite your lower limbs.

I once worked for one back in 2019. Both the woman and the man were pastors. The pay was was very low and sometimes it will be half of your total salary.

One thing I noticed was that whenever they want to introduce a bad policy, they start with biblical verses and then give a flimsy reason for the decision. You cant fight it because what can you do when your coworkers has been brainwashed grin

Well when I look back now I understand why they couldn't pay or slashed salaries. The school was being constructed with different loans. They had to pay back so there is no way they won't cheat the workers if at all they intend to meet up with the loan requirements
are you still trying to make excuses for themhuh That does not still justify what they did.

I ll visit private or primary care hospital .so I won’t take Agbo.

But you haven’t answered my question .what if johesu demands exactly what you are demanding and go on their own strike after the government has settled you?

Why are you guys not interested in working in private hospital?

Don’t you think that it’s time for the government to privatize the tertiary hospital so you demand can be reflected ?
"Let love lead" and yet you are still these biased, I have followed all your inputs here and how you have managed to evade the pressing issues still baffles me??

Some one works and is being owed 3months to 1year's salary, yet you want them to still show up to work and be happy working......be it any other sector apart from the doctors.

And from the way you are shouting johesu, if you are a health worker, but not a doctor, you should appreciate these strike as a welcome development for all the health workers including johesu.

You asked if the doctors don't want to go private, do you think you can afford to pay health fees if you go to a private hospitalhuh, Talk of the masses; so the doctors working in a Government hospital is actually doing you a favour, infact any doctor still working in Nigeria is doing you all a favour, but people like you won't appreciate someone God is using to keep you alive, you want him or her and their families to even die of hunger, because you can easily change Doctors...that is very unfair.

And if you are still tackling doctors for demanding what rightfully belongs to them, I honestly think you are a wicked man and I would advice you to repent.

I bet if you are a doctor, you would have done worse by now.

Last week Tuesday, my wife gave birth to a son which is my second born... She has been staying at her mom's place due to misunderstanding we had around September....

After I paid hospital bills and gave her money for baby items on that Tuesday morning, she told my parents she has buried the placenta... I could not go to see her immediately I was called and I had to send my parents there due to my work...

This is a lady I want to separate from due to her mum trying to take over the marriage and my wife is always carrying her along... Now the woman is demanding I come see the son and apologize to her and sincerely I am standing on my ground that since she buried the placenta I will never go there to go see the child except they come to my parent's place on the naming ceremony....

The truth is I can't afford to live a second with my wife and I really want ur advice before tomorrow....
. Hmmm, a very delicate matter, but reason it this way...... When your son gets of age and he's told that you didn't come see him for days/weeks after his birth, because you had a misunderstanding with your wife ; are you willing to live with that regret; how would you face your boy??
Jobs/VacanciesRe: How Being Righteous Made Me Lose A Dream Job by Lxgking(m): 8:47pm On Feb 28, 2021
barnny:
We all know getting a job in this country is another hell graduates is going through till date, talk more of getting a dream job.

I will try to be brief as much as I can.

Haven applied for so many jobs and attended some interviews, I finally saw one graduate trainee job (my kind of dream job tho) as at January this year. Although is a banking job which is actually my dream job. I wrote their aptitude test which I passed. We were eight that was invited for their interview out of over 70 candidates that applied and I was lucky to be part of those eight. To the glory of God I scape through at the first stage of the interview. At the Final stage of the interview (One on one interview) was where my righteousness or should I call it "Being Truthful" deprive me of my dream job. You may ask how did I know, but the truth is, that is what deprived me of getting the job. I don't want to explain further on that just to cut the story short.

The question they ask me that lead to my disqualification was: "Do you know anyone in this bank?" And my reply was "Yes". And truly I know someone working there but he wasn't even the one that ask me to apply. I only came across the job and I applied. But I never knew I'm suppose to say NO, I also never knew the answer will snatched the job away from me.

After all the sacrifices, sleepless nights on night journey from one town to another, After almost getting an accident on these our bad road, not to talk of the time and resources I have invested in getting this job. look at my life?
See where my righteousness has brought me into?

Just yesterday some of my colleagues got invitation for their medicals. And since that yesterday I have been so deeply down. I feel depressed. I feel like just giving up. Why me? What is really wrong somewhere that I don't know?Just imaging the kind of opportunity I have missed even when I know age is no longer on my side when it comes to this kind of job...

Honestly I'm tired. I feel like not going to church today. I am confused and feel like it's over. cry
I feel you could have answered more smartly, you could have said.. "sir with all due respect, I wonder what that has got to do with my interview" or "yes I know someone working in one of the branches, but my being here has nothing to do with him" or something like that, instead of plainly telling them "Yes" and leaving them to their imaginations.

Better luck soonest tho.

RomanceRe: When You Want Your Mind-Made husband. by Lxgking(m): 5:01pm On Oct 20, 2019
Toks2008:
Do you know that 99% of ladies who are still single at marriageable ages have no business with singlehood?

Many ladies pray to GOD every now and then for a spouse but unknown to them, GOD has blocked his ears to their prayers...WHY? Because God has already given them a spouse but they rejected his choice for them due to the preconceived unrealistic standards they have already created in their minds of what a good husband should be. The average woman does not really want a good man or a good husband in the real sense but what she wants is her own fantasy idea of what a good husband is supposed to be, in order words, she already has her MIND MADE HUSBAND...

Whilst men may get away with this mind-made choice because they are at a vantage position due to their ability to walk up to any lady of their choice, a lady may find It very difficult to do the same...maybe things would have been easier if ladies can walk up to the man that has their standards to decisively woo them and make them fall for them, propose to them and stay married to them shocked

Whilst I totally agree that it is perfectly ok to set a standard as regards the type of husband you want, it is sacrosanct that you do not cross that line from realistic standards to fantasy and you can't pray to GOD to give you a good husband and at the same time give him conditions...if you want GOD to lead a good husband to find you then allow him to do just that.

*Work on yourself to be independent financially and you won't care if your man is jobless, broke or earns 30k per month at the moment cos the state of being broke or poor is relative and temporary.
*Sixpack or a good body frame does not equate to a good husband.
*A big dck is not a guaranty that he will be a good husband.
*That he is rich does not mean you are also rich.
*You will hardly find a rich man that will be there for you whenever you need him.
*It is very unrealistic to expect a good husband to act or look like the super romantic sexy F boys you have met in the past and hoping to turn a F boy into a husband is lame.
*A man is not supposed to be cute like ladies who are regarded as the fairer sex or must be tall to be considered a good husband...what a man needs to have is a genuine desire for you.
*You can never date a pastor, a divorcee, can't marry a man with kids, you can't date a workaholic and you want a rich man, you can't be with a guy who is not fluent, who talks too much, he has to belong to a certain tribe, religion or even church denomination, must have a certain skin color, must have good dress sense, must be based abroad or from a certain country, he must not be too young or too old as if age gap is a prerequisite for a good marriage...
*He texts you or calls you too much or so into you and you feel he is not your type!...would you rather prefer he cares less?
*You want a good guy or husband but you have bad manners, you act and dress indecently and your nude or semi-nude pics and videos are all over social media and you dare crave for a good man angry
*Your feelings for a man as important as it is can not guaranty that he will have the same feelings for you and if you marry a man you have feelings for but does not have true feelings for, sister you are finished maritally.
*You Have friend-zoned and you keep friend-zoning the good guys and running after bad boys like a jinxed lady and you still talk about how difficult it is to find good men...
*You don't want to build a life with him cos you feel he will leave or cheat on you if he is made...strange!... I can go and on highlighting a series of unrealistic standards many ladies look for in a prospective good husband.

No matter how you pray and no matter the number of the singles summit you attend, If you are not ready to forget your false standards and make a serious compromise, you may remain single for a very very long time. l believe that the most paramount desire of an unmarried lady is to have a GOOD husband who will love and care for her and any other thing should be secondary and when you pray to GOD FOR a husband, blank your mind from any Imaginary standard you have created for yourself and allow GOD HAVE HIS WAY or simply develop the balls to approach any guy that matches your imagination and stop bothering GOD.
I hope this makes sense.
just wowed!!!! shocked

Please try by all means to
1. be at peace with every body
2. Shun cultists and any crime related involvements, and then
3. be prayerful.

davodyguy:
Believe it or not, this thread would shock a lot of people as i was shocked.

There are some cities that are very popular in some countries that we think they're the national capitals, whereas they're not.

Lets Start.

1. Dubai: Dubai is not a country as many people might believe. You hear people say "I'm going to Dubai'.
Dubai is a city in a country called UAE (United Arab Emirates) The capital of UAE is not Dubai, rather it is Abu Dhabi
Dubai is the largest city not a country or capital.

2. Johannesburg: Nigeria played South Africa last Saturday and i'm sure a lot of Nigerians would think Johannesburg is the capital.
Interestingly, South Africa has three capital cities, none of which are "Jo'Burg". Divided by branch of government, the capitals are: capital of the judiciary is Bloemfontein, capital of the administrative branch is Pretoria with Cape Town acting as the country's legislative capital.

3. Sydney: Since the Olympics in year 2000 (Sydney 2000) A lot of people think Sydney is the capital of Australia. It is not. Iconic though its harbor and opera house may be, it doesn't get star billing. Canberra, which is just a few years away from its centennial celebration, is actually capital of the land. It is not Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide.

4. Munich/Frankfurt: Many Nigerians would know Munich and Bayern Munich or 1860 Munich, likewise Frankfurt when JJ Okocha played in Germany. Well the Capital of Germany is Berlin.

5. Istanbul, Turkey: It may have served as capital to ancient Romans and Ottomans, but that designation is long gone for Istanbul. Ankara, a city that is perhaps most famous for its angora-producing goats, is the capital. Ankara is not the same as Aso Ebi ooo grin Many people might think the capital is 'Galatasaray' or Fenerbahçe

6. Switzerland: This country serves as HQ for many world Organizations like the UN, UNESCO etc. The capital is not Geneva, Neither this nor Zurich serve as this precise country's capital. The picturesque, tranquil, UNESCO-recognized town of Bern holds this honor. Roger Federer is from Basle, but not the capital.

7. Brazil: How many of you think the capital of Brazil is Rio? It's fun, exciting and has something for everyone, but that still doesn't make it Brazil's capital. While the city famous for the carnival used to be the capital, Brasilia now takes that position, not even São Paulo

8. Casablanca: Football fans are familiar with Raja Casablanca and tourists are familiar with Fez or Marrakesh. Not only is Casablanca not the capital of Morocco, neither are the other two top contenders, Fez or Marrakesh. Peaceful and culture-rich Rabat serves as this North African country's capital.

9. USA: In Trump's America, the Capital is not Las Vegas, California, Chicago, Florida or New York City. It is Washington DC

10. Spain: Many may think it is Barcelona, since Lionel Messi plays there. Capital is actually Madrid.

11. Côte d'Ivoire: In drogba's country, the capital is not Abidjan. It is Yamoussoukro

12. Italy: Capital is Rome not Milan or Juventus lol

13. Nigeria: Capital is Abuja not Lagos or Aba grin grin

14. State of Palestine: Capital is actually East Jerusalem and not Gaza City

RomanceRe: Why Most Guys Pick Up On 'hints' And 'green Light' But Will Not Act by Lxgking(m): 8:53pm On Nov 21, 2018
MiaB:
The lie
Wives typically use indirect forms of communication. They give hints, they speak abstractly, and then they expect their husbands to know what they mean. Without ever intending to lie, they don’t express the full truth. At times, they communicate so indirectly that their husbands can’t come close to perceiving the real message.
When faced with indirect communication, husbands often feel like a one-legged man in a football kicking contest. They just don’t have what it takes. They much prefer dealing with facts, logic, and problem solving.
They notice that something is wrong. That realization may come from receiving the silent treatment, getting some indirect messages, or just picking up the mood of their wife. They’d like to resolve the problem, so they ask about it, and get messages so indirect that they can’t interpret their meaning.
When people get what they see as an incomplete message, they try to fill in the blanks. Husbands, with their strong problem-resolution skills, will often explore various possible meanings. But if the indirect message doesn’t have enough clues to give them an accurate picture, they can’t succeed.
Living the truth
Neither indirect nor direct communication is intrinsically right or wrong. Rather, each serves a particular purpose. Foundationally, though, wives make a mistake when they choose indirect messages that give a misleading impression, or that fail to accurately convey the intended meaning. Let’s explore several factors that can help you live in the truth and communicate more directly.
Create a safe zone . Husband, creating a communication “safe zone” is your job. Yes, you get frustrated and upset at indirect conversation. But some of your irritation results from your own response when your wife tries to communicate with you.
You can create a safe zone in several ways:
Choose honesty over defending yourself.
Don’t respond with an attack on your wife.
Don’t even think about verbal or physical abuse.
Draw out your wife with active listening.
Let your wife know that you truly want to hear what she has to say, and when she sees that you’ve established a safe zone, you should see an increase in the clarity of your communication with one another.
confused people.....y not open mouth n tell d husband not bf, what on ur mind, but noooooooo....instead u will blame d man for not creating an imaginary safe zone n u tell me its not annoyinghuh

But, most times women wait for things to be handed to them gracefully, while they can always stand up/challenge for the things they believe in / want, this is evident in lack of women participants in school politics(course rep/project leader/group leader); when no one is as a matter of fact fighting them not to........at the end of the day, its now increasing worrisome that whenever a women is not happy about something, she always nails it on some form of disparity/inequality/discrimimation shown to her by the male folks and always ends up trying to assassinate that concept "male".
Its high time some females realise that nobody is fighting them, all those 50-50/gender equality are stupid, because what women want is to have the benefits of equality, n also the benefits that comes with being a female
