loneprof: This is why it's so hard to get a driver's licence in most developed countries. Going by the NAF's report, the guy obviously couldn't drive well and you'd only know a good driver when it comes to reversing. There are so many drivers like this, most of them with valid driver's licence on Nigerian roads.
The issues in this country are like a spider's web; one problem leads to another, and another is connected to another and since we don't have critical thinkers, everyone trivializes the importance of a strong policy environment.
RIP Tolulope Arotile Your wisdom is compared to none. Spot on. |
Politics › Re: COVID-19: Buhari’s Government Totally Irresponsible, Has Failed Woefully - PDP by LydayBobo(m): 10:03am On May 23, 2020 |
DrGoodman: APC was given 5 years and they have used it to return us to 1984 levels. By the time we reach 16 years with APC, everyone will be trekking across the border to Chad to escape acute hunger. I'm not a fan of any political party cos they are the say but Lagos was under APC technically even under PDP Presidency for a while and you can see the huge difference in development. Let's cut them some slacks they're doing their best. We are too in a hurry...so many short cuts. Sound development requires some process Sir. |

MelesZenawi: Any country has right to threaten this lugard hole.
Nigeria is not big anything...
Any country that starts war with Nigeria at this stage will win and raze the country hands down.
The problem is that most of these other african countries don't know their potentials and how mighty they are. They over rate Nigeria without knowing Nigeria is a weak nation.
They should have asked themselves if the country called Nigeria had defeated Boko Haram let alone engaging in external conflict or even war.
Professor lumumba should watch his tongues as Nigeria is just a toothless bulldog though she doesn't have teeth let alone to bite.
Is high time these countries rise up and face Nigeria fully. They have the capacity to bring the country down to her knees........ Who is this animal |

I will be praying for it to be false....but...."Allen Onyema’s status as a wealthy businessman turned out to be a fraud. He corrupted the U.S. banking system, but his trail of deceit and trickery came to a skidding halt. DEA would like to thank the many law enforcement partners and the subsequent prosecution by the U.S. Attorney’s Office who aided in making this investigation a success.” got me thinking though. |
Crime › Re: My Billionaire Client Is Fraudster, Threat To National Security, Lawyer Tells Co by LydayBobo(m): 7:17pm On Sep 25, 2019 |
PoliticalWitch: That's the main thing...then there is the forgery.
Plus there is a solution to this issue....remove fuel subsidy. That dries up the money for people like Abubakar Peters...and forces them to work for their money.
In fairness to the evil crook....he is importing fuel at a loss under the subsidy regime. Landing costs is N200 and above, then he has to sell the fuel to marketers at below N145....and all government pays him is the difference. So he scams government by making subsidy claims for fuel not imported...and then makes a profit.
Some guys import fuel, then smuggle it to countries like Benin and Niger Republic where they sell fuel at above N300...and make their profit that way.
Remove fuel subsidy...sure we would be paying crooks like these high money for improting fuel. But the foreign and local investment that would flow in to build new refienreis, and new support strutrctures will soon bring increased production, reduced prices, and put people like Mr Peters in the positon of either adapting or getting out of buisness since there is no subsidy money to claim again. May God bless you silly. |

NwaAmaikpe:

Welcome home to the prodigal son. Time to recoup the tithes and offerings you've missed and to show off those new denims and sneakers you just got.
I have zero respect for pastors...because I know firsthand that just like public speaking, it is a profession for most of them. They rarely are in tune with God but only on the lookout for the success of their establishment.
The problem however is members like this who worship man and consider pastors as infallible forgetting that the norm now for most jobless youths who are tired of job-hunting is to enrol into a pastoral school.
But I won't end without giving the government its share of the blame.
Imagine if the coal corporation, Nigerian Railway, NIPOST, NITEL, Waterboard, Steel Industries and Refineries were working and jobs were surplus.
Do you think we would have had these many pastors today? You're on point. We won't. |

This is pure blasphemy. It is an unforgivable sin to stand on the altar with a rifle.
This type of sin won't have gone unpunished in the days of the biblical Moses and David. Sometimes I get angry with the Lord for being such a merciful God.
Christianity as a religion of peace and longsuffering must not be associated with any tool of violence. (Matthew 26:52, Luke 6:29, John 18:11) abeg park well |
