In the history of the world, any dynasty destroyed by God can never be rebuild. Rome, Persia etc.

PDP as a dynasty has been destroyed by God and will never come back even if they adopt Buhari in 2023 as their candidate.

Condemning Ganduje would only cause political issues... He is a wise man, condemning an act without action is stupidity...

Also Ganduje video is not admissible in court, therefore on what ground would he be condemning it? On the ground of an illegal document?

If you want to be blind about the fight against corruption, continue... But if you really want to see, come to abuja and see mansions abandoned, the owners are on the run... If you want to see more, check EFCC page on IG

Imortal001:
PMB is the most couragious leader nigeria ever produced.
no case of bribing senate to pass budget.
He did the needful by suspending walter onnoghen.

what about the bribing scandal of the governor of kano state? where the president said he doesn't know the technology used in the video. one sided corruption fight.

Vrengkat:

Trust me, I believe Gandollar is corrupt, and that video is real... But no one can do anything about it, cause Gandollar possess immunity... That is our law bro

but mr. intergrity didn't condemn the act instead he supported it by saying he doesn't know the technology used in making video. That means anybody can be involved in a messy act and blame our precious tech for it. My brother buhari is not fighting any corruption, he is just attacking perceive enemies.

Cheap popularity is all this guy wants, it's unfortunate he can't get enough to get votes

Bro, stop commenting on issues you know nothing about...

You don't know the law, you are not a lawyer... So shhhhhhhh.

Assignment - check section 11 of the Interpretation Act and then tell me if Buhari cannot suspend the CJN

First of all, the word removal is not synonymous to suspension, unless there is precedent for this, buhari has not gone contrary to law, it is left for the court to use the mischief rule to adjudicate this matter... The word removal is not defined
.

Secondly, Walter for fear that the NJC would suspend him, adjourned the NJC seating indefinitely... That just reaffirms his guilt.

Thirdly, why are you putting out your neck for someone you are sure is guilty, do you know how many supreme Court cases has suffered due to this struggle, today was suppose to be the hearing of the APC portharcourt case, but nothing... Cause of one man

The fight against corruption in Nigeria is a hard one, I commend Buhari for this, I am a lawyer, part of the judiciary, I do not see this as an attack on the judiciary, but a cleansing, after all, he who comes to equity must come with clean hands...

I won't use Sanusi as a precedent, try to reconcile this with GEJ and Ayo salami

only a fool believes buhari is fighting corruption, with all video evidence against the kano state governor, absolutely nothing was done by mr. integrity all buhari could say was that he did not know the level of technology usef in making that video. what a shame on all of u.

kehinde1588:
We are going to have a bigger problem in Nigeria if our mentality persist in this manner.

The former CJN(Walter) never denied the fact that he is corrupt just because of tribalism, Igbos are defending the man up and down. The man should have resigned honourably just like Kemi Adeosun did when he was accused of certificate forgery.

The same igbos and southern Christians were happy and celebrating Kemi Adeosun resignation not knowing that what goes around comes around.

What a double standard!

Don't be a fool young man.
nobody is supporting the CJN but everyone is opposing the motive behind the move to remove him at all cost. Them politicians are just playing a fool out of people like you.

I have heard people saying one has to love his kids equally or don't show it even if you love one more, but I find it hard to pretend .

I have 3 kids, a boy and twin girls. I love the 1st born more than the rest because he is a boy and love one of the twins more than the other.
I place the male as the number in the home even ahead of the mom. he is very smart for his age and resembles me 100 percent. and for the twins, I love the one that looks like my late mom and very smart than the other.

help I find it hard to love them equally or even pretend to love them equally and it's causing division in my home

Culture / Re: Mixed Reactions As An 'Outcast' Is Made King In Imo Community. Photos by lyricalz: 5:06pm On Dec 30, 2018
post=74298492:
For those of us that have forever been wondering, what OSU OUTCAST means, here you have it.....

The Osu caste system, which is prevalent in Anambra, Imo and some areas in Ebonyi states, discriminates against families which in the ancient times were dedicated to the local deities because human sacrifice was required to cleanse the land of abominations. The Osu were mostly slaves and other categories of persons considered as “inferior”, as opposed to those who were “freeborn” or “Nwadiala”. As outcasts, they were discriminated against and not accepted by the mainstream of society.

In spite of efforts by clerics, political leaders and social crusaders to consign this system to the dustbin of history it is still being stubbornly observed in many communities. In 1956, the Eastern Nigerian House of Assembly had passed a law abolishing it, but it was not implemented.

There is no reason for this caste system to remain in these modern times. Slavery was abolished long ago, and no human sacrifice is going on anywhere in Nigeria except as a criminal offence linked to some dark cults. The constitution of Nigeria declares every person free and equal before the law. All Nigerians are constitutionally entitled to fundamental human rights, which include the right to freedom from discrimination and the dignity of the human person.

To end the Osu and similar inhuman caste systems wherever they are being practiced in Nigeria requires a combination of cultural reforms, law enforcement and active sensitisation. Serious legal actions need to be taken against any form of discrimination and dehumanisation.

We call on traditional authorities and churches in Igboland to prevail on every community still practising the Osu caste system to abolish it.

SAY NO TO OSU CASTE SYSTEM and let us all live as brothers and sisters in peace.
Thank you!

thanks a lot for that writeup.

I'm tired of Lagos. Can anyone suggest a city or town in Nigeria one can move to to start all over again? Or even neighbouring countries?

Has anyone done that? Has anyone moved away from the hustling and buzzling of Lagos and maybe Ogun, to another part of the country where he/she doesn't know anyone to stay with, rent an accommodation, and find something doing to bring in income?

I want a laid-back, cheap, secured and peaceful place.

Please share. Will love to learn from you.
