Hi! My name is boredberry... I'm 19... And I need a boyfriend... He must reside in Abuja or be willing to travel to Abuja if he resides in other state... I don't discriminate but I would prefer a southerner, esp from these south-south states (Delta, Edo, Port Harcourt) or a south westerner excluding those from Ogun and Osun... He must be tall... I'm 5.5 so he must be above 5.7... I prefer dark men... Who doesn't love chocolate? But if he's fair and attractive I might consider... He could be a Christian or a muslim... But I don't want someone who's too religious... I'm not really a believer but I'm very tolerant... I hate fanatics... I need a man who's a lover of science! And mythology, astrology, history and so on... A pan-African... An avid reader... He must be creative... Someone who sees things from many perspectives... Thinks outside the box... He must be funny! And polite enough to laugh at my lame jokes... Be considerate and kind... I need someone with a heart... Emphatic and with a vision to change the world in his own little way... I need a man who is a lover of life! Drinks, smokes, enjoys going out and meeting new people... Someone who takes risks... Loves adventures... Anything but common... He must enjoy travelling... Excited by foreign cultures, esp those that are African... Be a foodie... I love public display of affection! So he should love holding me and being held... Kissed... Etc... Be a dog person... Love the idea of having pets... I grew up with dogs and cats even chickens! So I love animals! Someone who's childish and fun to be with... Silly and cute... I love men who are boyish... He shouldn't be an alpha... He should love himself and all that... But I like men who are sensitive... So he shouldn't think feeling sad or even crying is a sign of weakness... I'll continue... Very Apt:]I felt pity for what the lawyer went through in the hands of those cursed policemen until I got to this part: I too am wondering what makes the lawyer think he is not an ordinary citizen. Thanks amigo :am already convinced about wat I am into.Atheism has always been wat I imagined as a kid. Am not dependent on anyone and I pay my bills. Thanks all the same @macAB Make sure you already cleared those doubts before abandoning the religion of your birth It is very important you do that, if not when you leave just like that those doubts would continue to come up but this time in disguise and your mind then become a battle ground of conflicting thoughts which you may not be able to handle alone. It is not easy thing to abandon the religion you were born into. Some persons can assume they are free from it but not being aware that at the subconscious level they still strongly tied it. And this can create many problems that may be difficult to manage except through professional help. . You could find yourself struggling with the feeling from time to time that you're two persons in one. That's a split personality syndrome which is a form of mental illness and those close to you can sense all is not well with you. The reason why this can happen is that there still exist some deeply embedded beliefs in your subconscious mind that's still running at the background . Those who don't know what is happening at this time, would run back to the religion they have abandoned or sadly end it in suicide believing they are losing their minds.. I have friends who have gone back to the same religion they abandoned and condemned as not good. This happens all the time So my friend be yourself . Don't try to imitate anyone. Know exactly what you're doing before making the decision to quit And in case you don't know it's not easy living your life as a non religious person in this part of the world you will be hounded on all sides by people around you and this can impact on your mental health. You need people around you to succeed but when you try to separate yourself prematurely , then it can be become difficult for you. My advise is you just play along until you can stand alone without depending on anyone.
|
@ op I am afraid you're generalising. All atheist or non religious don't behave the same way. But I understand where you're coming from . It is obviously based on what you have experienced and observed here. But the truth of the matter is that most are behaving that way because they are living their lives based on borrowed behavior. A fake life. That's how I like to describe it. The foreign atheists whose behavior most of them are copying are from societies where nearly every single member is enlightened enough to know what is right from what is wrong. So it is expected that some, atheist especially, over there would mock you when you behave in a way they consider stupid or irrational .They expect you to know better than to believe in what they consider nonsense or fairy tales. But on this side, there's no enough reason for anyone who is fortunate to be properly educated and better exposed to go about looking for less enlightened members of his society to insult and abuse simply because these other people insist at a particular point in their lives that they are more comfortable in believing in something rather than in nothing. Well, I already mentioned that it is borrowed behavior. If not, what on earth would make anyone who claims to be a former Christian or Muslim turn back to make mockery of those that still believes forgetting that not too long ago he or she was equally a "slowpoke" or religious nut job. It is an aberration . It's like a former prostitute who is now rehabilitated going back to the hotel she once worked to insult and mock others who are yet to have the opportunity to escape that life. It is really unfair and makes no sense whatsoever. The proper attitude of a former believer who is really honest about helping others see what he now considers the "light" should be that of concern and understanding and not to take delight in mocking others at every given opportunity even when it is not called for. If the person who trolls you online grew up as an atheist without having participated in any religious group before, then you should understand the reason for his behavior and not take offence. The person has not had your experience. So it is only natural that the individual would want to understand why you choose to believe in a God .He simply cannot get it no matter how you try to explain People will always act based on what they know and have experienced. They can't behave otherwise. There are certain things in life that can only be completely understood by a direct experience of it. Nothing else would do. But when the troll has had that religious experience and now pretends not to, then it is self deception. Don't waste your time .You're dealing with a fake person. Move away .The person already knows the answer to the question he or she is asking you about what you believe. There's no sincerity and you would be stupid to engage such a person. The person is looking for the opportunity to make you look stupid for what you choose to believe at this time So please don't regard every atheist or non religious as the same. Not every atheist on ths section behave as you have described .We all can't be the same. Everyone has their own method However, you on your part should also learn to respect what others choose to believe or not to believe. That's the only way we can all make for a harmonious relationship amongs the different groups that exist here.. Final word. Please don't regard me as a representative of any group. All I have said is from me alone. Others can choose to see things differently and they have the right to see things their own way. I started having doubts about Christianity as little boy by the time I was up to fifteen I stop going to church |
I'm currently Wit NAMA ,but on training wit NCAT as an ATC student. As a trainee you just earn some stipends as a level 08 officer. After completion of the training you get promoted to level 09,salary plus allowances ranging to about 400 k,atleast for a start, then probably about five years later it gets a lot better say 700-800k, by then you will be a level 12 officer. By the time you get to the peak of your career, it's so so great, you could earn as much as 3million -4million Naira monthly (i.e salary +allowances)thereabout, recent adjustment just took place within the organization, you could download the conditions of service on line for NAMA. Please note that the chunk of the pay comes from the number of licences you have and not the salary, because some have gotten to the peak of their career but do not have all the licences, meaning they might not earn as much as the other person who has the whole ratings(licences). Every five years you are due to get an added rating to the previous one you had thereby climbing the ladder and NAMA will be responsible for the training. Air traffic controllers job is one in the aviation industry that comprises of most of the other disciplines in the aviation sector, you are trained to think like an aircraft engineer, even as a pilot, because as an air traffic controller you are also trained to fly aircraft's. Its one hell of a job that gives lots of challenges and the the pay is quite comparable and good to that of the pilots,if not even better in my own opinion, the advantage of job security is much much higher compared to flying as a pilot. Well a career to becoming a pilot is a good one, but if you look closely you will see that there are no jobs for pilots, na-man-who-know-man dey get the flying jobs. Well the only problem wit ATC is that, you can only be trained and sponsored by the Federal Government. I hope this information helped someone[I just hope u never ever try to fly a plane. All u had was just a few hours to enable u see wat flying is all about considering that some have not flown before .I spent 3 years in ncat . Am sure u are done eating malima |
