OK show us photos of the crowd if any. That would be a good yardstick to measure how the Nnamdi Kanu "No Vote" decree will play out.

This is Horrific!!

The Sector commander of FRSC should be arrested along with all the policemen along that road.
Their inefficiency gave this evil driver the nerves to overload his vehicle and ply that route without fear

That driver will drive past an FRSC checkpoint whilst you will be standing there begging them about 1 dead brake light bulb. grin

I dey curse them steady.. That was how one stopped me and started checking my tires. I told him the tyres are all brand new (late 2016).. after checking round and seeing they were all brand new and he had my Original drivers license (not copy) and other papers, next thing he asked was my spare tyre.. grin Na ehn I provoke. I started angrily asking him why he feels a vehicle with 4 brand new tyres will not have a spare. I even pointed to how I gave him my original drivers licence even though I had a photocopy and he still is just hell bent on looking for a reason to frustrate me. I told him he was fishing. He had seen everything and now is just fishing for a reason to extort me. I told him he was wasting my time and his. That not even a single bulb on my car is dead. I then told him how they set up these checkpoints to extort private citizens. I dared hin to allow me stop 3 vehicle at random and I can grantee that they will all have expired tyres and other road infractions but yet they close their eyes and pick on private citizens. The guys boss just took my paper from him and handed it back to me and told me to go.

So if na for Road Safety or even police checkpoint matter, they are only on the road to collect money from private vehicles. Commercial vehicles dey pay their bribe in bulk.

I'm inclined to believe that it was as a result of bad roads and not overload. The condition of Eastern roads is enough for agitation.
May their souls rest in peace. Amen

What road in Ihiala or Anambra is that bad?

Abeg talk the one wey be true. Federal road like the Enugu Onitsha road is definitely bad but not Ihiala or any road within Anambra State.

How??

You mean they should have respected the competitor more??

If you are going to begin your new business by going after the competition then you better come in well prepared.. They were not ready. They figured taking away T.V rights for the Premier League would create a dent in DSTV's subscriber base which it didn't.

All DSTV did was host the Big Brother show to hold over that 1 year period HITV were hot and when the license for the BPL HITV had expired, Multichoice bought it off and owned it making sure HITV never had access to it again.

So HITV fuucked with the wrong one. They could have come into the market without trying to undo Multichoice from the very start. Multichoice has paid their dues in this hussle and has come a long way. Their content was better then HITV and HITV had nothing else to offer outside of football.

So not showing respect to Multichoice and starting a fight they weren't even qualified to be in led to their demise.

HAH:
If politics still remains the game of numbers kwankwaso has some aces, from the last election kano gave apc 1.9M votes that is more than entire SW votes less Lagos and apart from Kano state like Jigawa is also with him he also has always been seen as second only to Buhari in the north largely due to his past performance so please don't write him off.

The entire south west gave APC 2.2M votes at the last presidential election while kano state alone gave it 1.9m votes, discount kwankwaso at APC peril

Kwankwaso was key to swinging the votes in favour of the APC in the last elections no doubt. That's why I am saying if it's true he has defected, then all the APC can try to achieve is to split his voting bloc.
Politics / Re: Rabiu Kwankwaso Dumps APC For PDP With 10 Kano State Lawmakers by MadCow1: 6:29am On Aug 15, 2017
Lol... grin

This is a bad move from Kwankwaso.. Bad for the APC too but not totally destructive.

All APC needs to do now is key into the "Not too young to rule" bill and flip the script on PDP both in the age of their next contestants and the Geo-Political zone of those contestants.

Tinubu should be able to deliver the West, A solid Candidate from the East will split the Eastern vote, all they need is half of the North and middle belt and the 2019 elections will be yet another victory for them.

Egypt, Israel, Germany, Poland..

In Egypt, Archaeologists have discovered some Okpu Eze (RED Cap) and Offor (Elephant tusk/staff of office) proving conclusively that the Igbos Built the Pyramids in Egypt and left Egypt before Moses and Pharoahs beef started.

In Israel, DNA evidence has proven beyond reasonable doubt that the Israelites are desendants of Ndi Igbo and also archaeologists have found items believed to be Osè õrij and ãýañra (Garden Egg and peanut butter) at the tomb of jesus proving conclusively that an Igbo Man (probably Thomas) was one of the disciples of Jesus and was present when Jesus rose from the dead. Joseph was the First Igbo Jew in history after he was sold and brought to Africa where he settled and procreated.

Germany.. Historians from a top University have found until now highly classified documents showing that Adolf Hitler was being influenced by Hausa Fulani which led him to want to exterminate Igbo Jews. angry A lot of Igbo DNA were also found at Auswich.

Poland.. Even till today, A lot of communities in Poland still speak Igbo proving that the Igbos were once there.

Health / Re: My Experience With HIV Testing Today. by MadCow1: 2:13pm On Aug 14, 2017
Koval12:
It's been a torturous three months. After having sex with my Girlfriend, I started doubting her fidelity to me. She has cheated on me beforehand and I suspected she was still cheating on me based on the proves and information at my disposal.

Within the same period, I started feeling weak and consumed in thoughts. So I finally made up my mind to go and check my status. As early as 8 am this morning, I was already at the HIV counselling and testing unit of Lagos state general Hospital. As usual the lady there sat me down and started counselling me. It was the longest 30mins of my life. After which my result came out negative..

God's faithful indeed. I was so excited and reached my pocket and gave the lady 1000. I quickly zoomed out of the the hospital and proceeded to a nearby lab which also confirmed my negative status.

I have already made a commitment never to have sex again till I am married. It's a covenant between me and my God. I enjoin you all to summon up courage and get tested today. If positive, enroll for ARV therapy as early treatment prolongs patients life expectancy. If negative, please stay off pre marital sex or remain faithful to your partner. I wish you the best as you summon up courage to get tested today.

God was faithful to a fornicating Youth that was engaging in unprotected sex. grin Just talk say you get luck say your dice no roll out double 6.. grin grin grin grin

N.a. so my guy go do test that year the matter cone out negative. Only for am to do am again 4 months later only to see Positive. Now my guy is confused wether ehn blood type na O-positive or O-negative. grin grin grin

So Bros go and do it again. Them fit make mistake. grin The only thing that can never change in life is God. grin

Travel / Re: Picking Random People On The Highway While Travelling by MadCow1: 11:12pm On Aug 13, 2017
musabayokanu:
Picking people on the high way read this and share.

A brother shared this testimony in the church today.

He was travelling to Warri and he had a very busy night and was feeling dizzy while driving but the trip is a must because he must catch up the appointment in warri.

He said he is not in the habit of picking people on the highway, but he needed someone whom he will be discussing with to prevent him from sleeping while driving.

Luckily for him, when he got to Choba brigde he saw two young ladies standing by the roadside waiting for car they waved at him and he quickly stopped.

The lady: Good afternoon sir

The man: yes good afternoon

The lady: Sir please will you get to Mbiama junction?

The man: Yes but I can only carry one person

The lady: Ok no problem sir, I just met her here we are not together.

The lady claimed.

She joined the man and they drove off, along the line she started acting restless, looking at the man, pressing her smart phone chatting and after a while she started answering calls, though she never said anything in the phone just mmh, mmh uhh, yes, no.

During the calls the man reduced his speed, and started observing the lady. At some point the lady started talking to the man seeking attention and all, he kept quiet and was observing her.

They got to Ahoada, the lady said she want to buy something and the man said he can't wait.

She went down and the brother drove off and told her good bye, along the line he decided to buy fuel and drove into a Total filling station, while waiting something told him to search the car especially the area the lady was sitting because she might mistaking drop a feminine object that he can't explain to his wife, while search he saw bunch of Indian hemp wrapped in a brown paper he quickly picked it up, asked for their rest room, went in and empty the content of the paper inside the toilet, flush and threw the paper inside the waste bin there, bought his fuel and continue his journey this time around the sleep cleared from his eyes.

They got to Mbiama bridge at the police highway patrol checkpoint before the army check point his car and one other car was thoroughly search they didn't find anything in his car yet they never allowed him to go as they continued with unending search.

Inside the other car they find Indian hemp under the seat, the man couldn't explain how it got in their, later he said he over had the man pleading and telling the police man he picked one lady at Choba bridge, probably the lady never knew it fell off from her bag.

Later the brother excused the man and asked him the cloth the lady was wearing and where she dropped, behold it's the lady standing with the one he picked and she stopped at the same Ahoada but he was smart enough to search his car after she dropped and discovered bunch of Indian hemp wrapped in the same paper similar to the one he thrashed in the toilet at the filling station.

He realised it was a set up but to avoid paying for what he cannot substantiate he kept quiet until they asked him to go and took the other man to their station, only God knows how they settled.

For the single men and married men driving on the high way do not pick strangers.

I do travel a lot by road and even I know giving lifts is a No! No! I have only ever once given lift to a person and it was a Police officer just immediately after Head Bridge in Onitsha. He said he was going to Agbor. Now the reason I even found myself talking to him was because I had stopped to pee by the roadside and he walked up to me. So I gave him a once over and he didn't look threatening to me. So I told him I can give him a lift if he answers all my questions properly. He said No problem. So I asked to see his Police I.D because he had a name tag on his uniform, He showed me and it matched. So I asked to see the content of his bag and pocket which he surprisingly agreed to. So I saw his pocket, checked his Bag and he was clean. His name matched with the name plate on his uniform. I told him I will only stop at Agbor junction and no where else and he agreed. So I put his luggage in the back and we set off.. It was a very pleasing Journey as he shared his Police stories with me and even gave me some smart security tips for road travel.. Tips like "Always pay attention to the other side of the road. Take not of the vehicles coming. They will be your first signal as to if there is a problem ahead of you" also "If you suddenly notice you haven't passed any oncoming vehicles in a while, find a safe place to stop and wait. Something may be wrong ahead of you". He said he understood why I did what I did with him and said it showed I was smart and security conscious and thanked me for the ride.

Like I said, I enjoyed this my one experience but I have never done it again. It's very not advisable and if you must, make sure to check the person out "including a full body pat down" if necessary. If they refuse, then its fine. Let them stay and wait for another lift cos they are not entering my Car if I am not sure if you. MY CAR, MY RULES.. After all it's a free ride.

My biggest issue however is the distrust in our society. As a road traveller, it's a common sight to see people with broken down vehicles on the roadside in need of some assistance. However the society we live in is so bad people can act vulnerable just to get you to stop. I drive a truck which is powerful enough to tow even an SUV and sometimes I realise all it will take is a simple tow to the nearest town to get them some help but I never stop. I always pray never to find myself in such situation cos I don't expect anyone to stop and I wouldn't blame them either for not stopping. Plus I would even be scared to try to wave down vehicles for fear of who I might be stopping. This is a very sad way to live as a people and a society.

Crime / Re: Please I Need Quick Advise, I'm Aware Of A Kidnapping Attempt by MadCow1: 7:25pm On Aug 13, 2017
Here are some cold hard truth for you..

No.1 - You said they have carries out other kidnappings before which you were in the know of. That already makes you an accessory to the crime and it is punishable under the law. So you my friend are already a criminal.

No.2 - You know and associate with known Kidnappers so that makes you an accomplice wether you participate or not.

No.3 - You know of a new plot to kidnap ye another person. You know they are assembling resources for the crime and even know the gang leader and a member of the syndicate. You Sir are already implicated in the crime.

Now here is my advice.. Go meet a Lawyer to explain to you what your level of involvement may be. Do not think just because you are in Nairaland you are untraceable. This post can be narrowed down to the I.P address from which it was sent and a dragnet set for you so consider yourself exposed. It will be in your best interest to make a move now to report the crime to the police in the company of a good lawyer who can arrange a plea deal for you to act as a Police witness.

If you don't support their actions then you should have no problems snitching.
