its very impressive that arrests are been made, the question here is,since poverty is often the motivation behind drug abuse and drug dealings, since the removal of fuel subsidy, what structure has been set up to check the hyke of food prices in the market? some people sell old stocks as new stock rates,if there was a "task force" created to follow up the situation things should atleast be fair, yes insecurity has lead to the destruction of farmlands and terror to farmers, still the prices need to be checked to the books , some people are using the fact that petrol is 600 naira per liter to forcefully steal from people, also the country needs to create a certified farming (include irrigation farming)institution in each state using the subsidy money for a collaborative effort in bringing crops to the market, they should have certified markets or outlet's were government crop produce are sold directly to consumers directly to cut this evil sinking the country, they can use empty ship container as temporary infrastructure for their market space, nation wide with the traffic it should take atleast 3 months to set up temporary market sites at densely populated parts of each state in the country, for each state they can should zone out the markets per local government to ease distribution for traders, for food crops government should consider the use of hybrid seedlings for perfect execution of the project. when people are hungry or lack jobs they go into drug dealings, this new farming system if well organized should bring in revenue for the country and cut down pressure on private rural farmers and relief competition, it would also create jobs ,the best way to handle the situation is to be in charge, that way you control the food prices, make use of that subsidy money. the creator help us all.

keep playing ignorant with your ancestry,go to South South in Nigeria go to Namibia and south Africa and see, even ancient Egypt, nudity is Africans traditional way of expressing freedom and beauty,if its not for colonisation most Nigerians would be naked, got to niger state and see, there is a tribe there, they wear leaves to date. |

Badmashiii:how old are you? you probably didn't understand anything i wrote, stepping out of your home doesn't guarantee you would succeed, you also skipped the parts i mentioned until he is ready, that means financial stability,if you like disagree after all its my opinion and experience im talking about, if you dont have the privilege to have parents who built their own homes you would not understand were im coming from, if you like agree or disagree,it doesn't change what is real ,in the end if you dont make it no one cares what decision you take to help yourself, there is no so called evidence that stepping outside your comfort zone would make you successful, you are talking to one of the most skilled and experienced person in life,i am 35,im a middle aged man, ive gone out i have served peoples parents, help them run businesses but i am not were i want to be financially despite having numerous connections, what i know is patience and perseverance would help you succeed, and everything requires the right timing. i cant even mention the list of things i have done to succeed, you have no idea,i have never failed but i have not breakthrough yet, everything is slow but i am patient. |
this is beautiful, this is the kind of news we should hear annually about Nigerian universities,it should be to a point such news wont be a surprise,we have the raw materials to make these things cheaper and in a large scale for our own use,the government of that state should get a business plan on how to fund and expand such projects by creating industries, when we get better with 8n perfecting our products , demand would soon be made by neighbouring countries, this is how the naira grows . |
young man let me advice you, let me tell you an honest truth most bitter and jealous people wont tell you, first thing to know is anyone who would ask you to leave your parents house to rent a space when you are not ready or when you have not built your own house doesn't wish you well and doesn't want your progress, we have many wealthy people who are single yet still live with their parents and no one is forcing them out,you can use google on that, dont ever keep a woman under your roof when you are still struggling, its not a a wise decision regardless of your commitment to her,the common adage is that staying in your own rented apartment would push you to contantly be on your feet to be responsible for yourself, but the question is what if you stayed home gather all that money you used in paying rent to buy a land and start your own building? most people who want you out of your comfort zone when you are not ready dont wish you well, they just want you to succumb to their so called definition of "living a life", as a result of this kind of decision,i have seen men who left 15-20 years ago now back in their parents house, even though most of their parents are dead, the point here is,40 years from now nothing any friend, family members or neighbors say would matter when you are struggling alone, your life takes a different turn as everyone is busy trying to survive,at some point were you live doesn't even matter, because all you need is just a roof over your head. save your money while in your parents house, make your investments, when they yield you can move on,find a woman and settle down, don't repeat same mistakes as our own seniors did,in today's economy you can hardly build a house when you are paying rent, a word is enough for the wise. |
good Day people since i joined nairaland,i have never created a thread regarding politics or anything. to be frank i never considered it because most of the threads i would have created would be someone's response in another thread or two. yesterday I went to help a cousin retrieve some items from a newly rented apartment, i had an agreement to meet the owner by 12pm ,but of cos that was just a time at heart, when I got there at 11:50 am, i placed a call through to the caretaker,he said i should hold on a bit as he is out on a side job, instead of standing and waiting under the blazing sun in a strange street with people staring at me in anticipation, i decided to "force spend" spend at a restaurant nearby just to get in the shade, this is because most people get easily grumpy nowadays,no one wants you seated at the cafeteria if you are not buying anything, i took a step into the place and saw this beautiful woman in her late fifties taking a nap laying sideways across a seat in the right upper corner of the shop, soon i interrupted her sleep with my greetings, she was swift to her feet, gave a slight sigh of embarrassment which she shrugged and went straight for business, "good day please what can i offer you"? she said sharply, at first i had wanted just a plastic bottle of Fanta, but then i also wanted to have a longer chat since I wouldn't be leaving very soon, i requested for a plate of cheaps and fried egg, while she was making my meal,i started a conversation with her, beginning with how she cope with the current situation of things?its common knowledge that when you walk into an eatery to find the attendant taking a nap,its a sign that the past few days have not been busy or profitable, since sleep reduces stress, "things are not funny oo"! she said in a cold sad tone,"the problem starts when you get these food stuffs but no one to patronise you" she continued, "people no longer come to eat during work lunch breaks" ,as she said these things i recall the headquarters of ITF was just a hundred metres away from there, even a tortoise could easily walk the distance in 15 minutes , I don't know how much the least worker makes in ITF,but one hajiya i know who is a desk staff rents a 600k two bedroom flat also she just finished furnishing her newly built three bedroom home, this is to mean they earn atleast enough to be able to afford a meal during break, it was past twelve but the streets was as empty as a ghost town. people have adapted to restricting themselves to eat at home, the insecurity in mangu, bokos and barikin ladi area has affected farmers, there is scarcity of food and high demand which lead to higher costs of puchase, just imagine this woman buying those foodstuffs as costly only for it to lay waste,in a good economy people have spare cash, and what that do is support self-employed people aa this woman. she went ahead to tell me she heard news, that the federal government said it was going to subsidize the cost of food stuffs in the country,i said its a welcomed idea but "where is the structure for it?", at this time she was done making my meal, she sat down at a seat by the table ahead as we discussed, "tinubu didn't make any promises as other politicians did in the past",she implied , i felt a bit uncomfortable with that remark sighting her situation,of cos she is an unbiased yoruba woman, i didn't waste time in reminding her that , regardless of whether tinubu made promises or not,he still has roles to play as a leader which are in the constitution,if he is not living up to it then thats what matters, she concurred to statement, she sat down one hand on table right hand in cheek,by now i was done with my meal ,bid her farewell as she engulfed herself in a stream of thoughts in her lonely space, who knows when the next customer would walk in? as it is the street is empty for now. how do you people cope in this economy, is there any wisdom of the ancients you have which is helping you cope with the current Nigerian economy please kindly share so other Nigerians can learn from you,how to get past through these hard times with less hiccups , thank you for reading, this is an unbiased post,im not asking for the removal of the president and none of that, there is hardship in the land, before any executive decisions are made first we have to survive the winter, how do we get across as a United nation of people with common interests? the afcon have showed we are all trying to win as one nation, take our leaders apart,we are individuals going our businesses. long live the great nigerian spirit.

just a word to you all typing rip, emeka Nelson is still alive and he is my friend nothing would happen to him, this video is 4 years old,yes its a perpetual motion machine,he complained about the machine over heating, thats one thing with a perpetual motion machine or device,i proffered other solutions to him tho,but emeka Nelson is doing well for himself channelling his creativity into something else, another friend of mine Maxwell sangulani chikumbutso has a similar perpetual motion machine, problem is they cant patent these machines because such machines operates against the laws of physics, therefore it cant be patented because its not recognised an industrial applicable solution.i am working on other models of infinite energy which could be patented.

lol just staring and reading wonders, life is just amazing,me here counting how many of my bsc holders got jobs and how many of my friends who didn't even pass waec got great paying jobs?e concern people who are slaves to the new world order policy tho,im not from this generation,i pray you all succeed regardless of your qualifications, you see me? i am that man who has no certificate but has gained far more knowledge and skills than most of these intials mentioned here,my knowledge got me so connected, when i say i don't have a good high school grade nor a hsc ,people look at me in total shock and awe. not everyone is like me but one thing is certain, mastering several vocational skills and contious learning made me a genius, i have a talent of learning things quickly and figuring things out 100x faster than average people,if you put me in a group of 2000 people,i would be amongst the top 10 selected, this has been my luck currently due to my findings i am linked up with the ministry of solid minerals,i said i have no good grades or tertiary education, when money starts coming in i will enrol, its my wish to complete my studies like every normal person. As op mentioned, I don't have any experiences regards to jobs because i cant apply, you can invest your money in skills,or be the tool of your own salvation if thats what would help you Excel.

when would you people learn?you all have phones and internet saddled with every information you need to create a force top protect yourselves, the police and soldiers would arrest you if the president orders them to,it is their job,but they would not arrest you if you lift up arms to protect your locality because they know whats up ,they are not fo0ls,keep blaming tinubu don't gather your elders and traditional rulers and make a decision, keep blaming tinubu and lack of resources,as the saying goes na only "theif wey them catch nahim be theif",these Fulani people know this and have been using this tactics to cause chaos. you guys should wake up,if your traditional heads cant stand for you tinubu wont do sh!t this is Nigeria,in this country "the law only works on camera". |
this mor0n misleading people again, the value of the naira doesn't rise by nigerians patronising Nigerian goods, the naira value rises when demand for the use by the Naira in the international market is high, for example if Nigeria has special goods and services that can only be bought in naira, this makes naira demands grow higher, people on the international market would want to buy more naira to be able to purchase those special only made in Nigeria goods, this is how money value increases not the other way round, the dollar has more value than the naira because a dollar is demanded 1300 times than the naira for use on the international front. what special goods and services do we offer, which has to be done or can only be done in Nigeria which people in the world cant do without?how is our tourism sector doing?how many foreigners visit Nigeria and stay for a month in nigeria?all these increase the value of the naira, most Nigerians want to travel to UK or us the urgency to make this journey see people exchanging the naira at ridiculous rates, causing it to devalue the more.renor is just a f0ol knows nothing about commerce or economics,he just there speaking repeated politicians language. |

Rolexxxy:if its a red flag then move on, this shows your intuition and his isnt same causing stress on your intellectual domain, you might be physically, emotionally and aesthetically compatible to eachother tho, intuition may seem like it doesn't matter much in relationships but it is the spine of every relationship, knowing the right time to approach your lover or know what they need at the right time or decision making is important in a relationship. |

Gerrard59:get well soon, while you are on recovery take some time to research these people in the picture taken in 1984 after a Nigerian airways meeting my mum was the P.R.O,i wanted to ignore your regurgitative statement, but doing so would only make you remain ignorant,i doubt if you are upto 30,before your dad started working a job i was boarding planes with the likes of otedola and dangote across the country.by the way my mum is the woman in yellow.you may have now been redeemed from poverty, its quite sad how its stains have rooted itself into your family genes to think boarding a plane is a life time achievement. ![]()
