Thanks dumodust, I wish now that I didn't discourage you from posting the whole stuff if you liked. It's yours or it's yours. Even if someone lifted the whole plot, gets it published and tries to claim originality, one of us here on NL will be there to set things straight wink!

That French guy is not normal. I can't believe Simon couldn't see that. He must have a learning disability thing. One of those kind of personality disorder illnesses, or how can you explain how he actually thought he could sing? They should really check that guy undecided cheesy.
TV/MoviesRe: X-factor (Who's Watching) by maedan(f): 8:56pm On Sep 05, 2009
I am! cheesy
There were some really bad ones, but some were really good!! I'm getting new favourites to root for every week. I loved the girl who sang "I Will Always Love You" - she's got star quality all over. The cute blonde 16 year old boy was fantastic!! He's young and nervous, but he can really sing. Ashanti, the 17 y/o black girl, was cool too. All I can say is, Wow. This year's X-factor will be fun to watch!

Oh ok. (thank goodness you didn't take offence). Yes, you do sound young, but not in a bad way. There's a freshness and naivete in your writing - or maybe it's just because you're writing about teen lovers. Like I said once, it's cute; I like cute smiley. I think we need more cuteness in the world. And oh, sorry for interrupting the flow - I'm very looking forward to the next instalment wink!

Atreus, hope you don't mind my asking, but what age bracket are you? 20-30, or 30-40?? Please don't take offence, but there's a reason I'm asking. If you can answer frankly, I will reveal the reason for my curiousity cheesy. I do a bit of writing myself and there's something about your style---Anyway, I hope you give an honest reply wink----
LiteratureRe: Backlash (a Novel)- first chapters by maedan(f): 4:13pm On Sep 05, 2009
110 pageshuh Wow, that's a lot of typing!! BTW, dumodust, I was just speaking figuratively about the book. Sometimes I wish I didn't have to read the stories posted by some members on the NL page, but on a printed one! It's far easier on my poor eyes cheesy. But aren't you worried about piracy or copyright, with the copious amount of your book you're posting? It's very interesting though, so I should be the last one to ask you to stop wink!
FamilyRe: ~ Housekeeping:Share Tips On Chores You Enjoy Doing! ~ by maedan(f): 4:03pm On Sep 05, 2009
Good gracious, mohawkchic! chic2pimp was right! You do know a lot about housekeeping, geez grin!! You must have had years of practice to have so many tips at your fingertips - excuse the pun cheesy!
FamilyRe: ~ Housekeeping:Share Tips On Chores You Enjoy Doing! ~ by maedan(f): 10:48am On Sep 05, 2009
Chores I enjoy doing?? Hmmn, lemme see---yeah, I love tipping clothes into the washing machine! Phew! Hard work, that! grin grin grin

But seriously, of all the household tasks, I think cooking is my favourite. I won't even call it a chore cos it's so enjoyable! More like a hobby! And like MrCrackles said, experimenting is lotsa fun! One thing I absolutely loathe, though, is ironing. I can't remember the last time I used an iron. I think I have ironphobia tongue tongue! But like most men, my oga is a whizz with the thing, so no one has to walk around in rumpled get-ups!
LiteratureRe: The Beginning Of A Teenage Love Affair. by maedan(f): 10:19am On Sep 05, 2009
This is so cute! If it's one thing I like, it's a teenage love affair grin. I'm thinking of starting one myself, so I'll be watching and learning how your story goes, give myself some inspiration cheesy.

@mohawkchic
Ditto on the thanks for all the moaning, bitching, laffing etc together the past weeks----it was a flipping blast! Sooo cool hanging with you guys, sara j and even chic2pimp with all his teasing! Let's do this again soon wink grin!

@chic2chimp
As for you---so, we're good enough to have a laff with on NL, but not to share your ill-gotten gains with, ehh grin grin?? But you're right; the cash don't matter - it was great just having you around(even though you teased me like hell angry cheesy)!!!!

We had our own virtual BB "house" going on right here - and you guys have been the best of HM8s! It would be weird for me though, waking up at midnight to tune in to BB live feed and finding no one on---but I'll get used to it! See you around, luvvies wink smiley!

How anticlimatic undecided tongue cheesy. I've never been so indifferent about a winner emerging as I was tonight. Sophie wins. Big deal grin. Poor Siavash, lost his voice, wore that dreadful get-up all week, and he still didn't win. Life's a b*tch hey?? grin

You know I was never far away, mohawkchic wink. >><<**sigh**>><< In a few hours it would all be over. No more sleepless nights for me watching the live feed till they all fall asleep - or eating late so my dinner coincides with the 10pm shows. . . ((humm, sigh)) I will miss you guys--- grin!

So enough of the sentimental b.s. cheesy - my David made it to 3rd, bravo. He deserved it, bless him. Waiting to see how Siavash will take his 2nd place position - and how the public will react to his nude-coloured leotards-- grin
TV/MoviesRe: ~ Big Brother 10 UK ~ by maedan(f): 9:33pm On Sep 04, 2009
chic2pimp, I hear ya wink.

David is sooo lucky!! When he was in the final three I could tell he was thinking, "Oh my God, I could actually win this grin!!"

Alas, 3rd place ain't so bad. It's a lot more than his detractors expected cool. Who would have thought, a halfway house mate like David lasting longer than past favourites Rodrigo and Charlie?? How cool is that!?!
LiteratureRe: Backlash (a Novel)- first chapters by maedan(f): 9:14pm On Sep 04, 2009
dumodust, better and better. The more the story continues, the more real you sound. Wish I had the whole book in my hand right now. Reading long posts on NL can be tough on the eyes. But in your case, it's worth the effort.

Doyin13, please I'm begging, don't ever feel obliged to reply to it. Like a rabid bitchdog it is snapping and attacking anyone that gets in its way. Neurotic freak who probably thinks maedan and doyin13 are the same person. How its minder let it off its leash is beyond me. Let's just watch IT continue making a colossal toad of itself. Fish.
CultureRe: Why Do White People Only Know Yoruba Music? by maedan(f): 7:16pm On Sep 04, 2009
doyin13, please don't let that thing drag you down into the bog with her, leave IT to its mad delusions. We should never have even started granting IT some credibility in the first place. It has been panting after you for ages and wanted to end it's miserable life when you showed you know the meaning of taste.

***Sigh***

Who's copying who? So hopeless.

You're right about the last word though. I finally concede that you're the wigga of wiggas, the fakest of the fake, the most authentic bitchtoadslut tilapia I have ever seen. Oops, sorry, not seen, cos you remain an amoebic mystery who knows one glimpse of her disgusting face will make all newborn babies around the world drop dead. Useless toadstool orphan. Enjoy the rest of your wasted life!
CultureRe: Why Do White People Only Know Yoruba Music? by maedan(f): 5:37pm On Sep 04, 2009
The only rotten tilapia in my freezer, but you're the one who came in here and started asking for trouble again naw. So you're the definition of pathetic. You're not even worth the time. You must have seen me in your dreams so you ran here without even brushing your teeth to start talking your fake 'un bullshit again.

You don tire for the fake 'un oyibo?? I pity your dead monkeybitch mother and toadbrain father. Yawn.
CultureRe: Why Do White People Only Know Yoruba Music? by maedan(f): 5:28pm On Sep 04, 2009
Oma se ooo, now I know you have a mental problem to go with all your other shortcomings. You woke up from your cry-cry sleep, saw the thread had moved on and yet started by facing me. You are obviously frustrated and lonely, this is the only way you can get a life.

Oya now, madam FAKE 'UN, teach me more of that your old school Americana English that Clark Gable taught you. Useless daughter of a Monkeybitch, your mother died of Monkey-transmitted AIDS  while giving birth to you, that is what is adling the few brain cells you have left. Why don't you just end your fake bitchtoad life?

Oya o, I'm waiting, fake 'un, more of the smooth western lingo. Wanna be fake ass wigga.
CultureRe: Why Do White People Only Know Yoruba Music? by maedan(f): 5:07pm On Sep 04, 2009
Instead of her to go and improve on her fakeass toadstool bog-based life, she came back this lovely afternoon to start again. It's like you didn't get enough of that tongue-lashing you got yesterday. You finished crying yourself to sleep, then woke up to begin with me, trying to show some false bravado.

Come on now, the only rotten tilapia in my freezer, no more fake Americana oyibo to spew?? Pathetic. Even the whites you're trying to copy stopped talking like that two centuries ago. Madam FAKE. 100% FAKE. You will die a FAKE. OBO.
CultureRe: Why Do White People Only Know Yoruba Music? by maedan(f): 4:57pm On Sep 04, 2009
Please, where is the fake-talking whitetrash-wannabe?? I'd like to hear more of your oyibo lingo. FAKE 'UN!!!!!

In fact, I do believe the term "wigga" fits you to a "T":

Definition:

black Mushin-based bitchtoad pretending to be white by using fake oyibo English she crammed from watching too many cheap Americana movies. Apparently, that's where she gets all the facts she came here to spew. Thank God for the good Samaritan that bought a TV for you to watch, so that you can come here and deceive people you're so cool. FAKE 'UN!!!!
CultureRe: Why Do White People Only Know Yoruba Music? by maedan(f): 4:39pm On Sep 04, 2009
Someone should please help me laugh at this tilapia joker. "Some naijas would love to be white? White is light??" Whoa, who's the fake pretender trying to talk white all day with her boring "gay 'un, fake 'un, mad 'un" crap. Is that how your frog-headed father taught you how to talk? Indigene of Mushin Central pretending to be well travelled, well spoken and exposed. WHO ARE YOU KIDDINGhuhhuh  FOOL, everyone can see through you faceless fake life.

Once a fish, always a fish. Why don't you swim back to that shit-infested bog you crawled out from? Bitchtoadslut.
CultureRe: Why Do White People Only Know Yoruba Music? by maedan(f): 4:34pm On Sep 04, 2009
Tilapia, same old same old crap. You went to rest and came back with this?? Still Fake, still a loser. "mad 'un, gay 'un" crap, who talks like that?? Yeah, only a fakeass bitchtoadslut raised and messed up in Mushin, coming to hide behind an NL avatar to attack better human beings.

P.S., I still don't know if you're human or a flotsam dug up from the ocean? Amoebic fish. You named yourself well. Daughter of a slut dogmother.
CultureRe: Why Do White People Only Know Yoruba Music? by maedan(f): 4:29pm On Sep 04, 2009
Tpia, you are a disgrace. What's all this fake mad 'un crap? Still pretending to be a westernised Americana-know-it-all? Do you really want to start this again today? I doubt it, for your sake.

Look who's calling who mad. Can't leave well alone when reasonable people have appealed for reason. FAKE TOADBITCH, WHO ARE YOU SEF?? A NOBODY. A foolish wannabe one at that. You've gone to sleep off your schizophrenia and have come back to spew ur idiocy. Fake loser.
LiteratureRe: Backlash (a Novel)- first chapters by maedan(f): 1:19pm On Sep 04, 2009
Strong writing style - that first part was really cool - the way you painted the picture, only for us to find out in the end that the old woman was dead shocked shocked Nice touch. I'm not a detective-story fan, but I'll be watching the story for more surprises!
RomanceRe: Co- Habitation Is It That Bad? by maedan(f): 8:05am On Sep 04, 2009
@ OP, I think RichyBlack said it best when he analysed it in the following terms:
It is an experimental non-legal co-residential union. This union is not recognised by the courts.

The union does not require or imply a lifetime commitment to stay together

There is no responsiblity for financial support of the co-partner and most do not pool financial resources(joint accounts) In other words the relationship is like "going dutch"

There should be no expectation that the partners would socialise together.

Clearly the man would expect the woman to commit fornication with him, but there should be no expectation that the relationship would be mutually exclusive.

Legally, co-habitation as a term shouldn't be confused with the "lighter shade" of a hopeful girlfriend moving in with her bf for a time with the hope that it would lead to marriage. But co-habitation is like a finalistic stage where there is no realistic hope on the side of either party and they are merely living, sleeping and in essence, co-habiting. Neither one is advisable for any man or woman, though. But how is it that it's the women everyone claims is losing her dignity? I'm sure the men lose something too when they succumb to such a pact. It lessens their urge to take responsibility, to make their final choice. It makes them less of a man if they can settle for so little instead of taking the plunge and making a wife out of someone. Food for thought, is all.

"No one ever died in peace, or of natural ailments. . . . grin"

I have to admit the man can write, and for that I always respected him. In fact I enjoyed his writings for his wit, candour and show of intellect. I don't know the politics of his connections to the supposed corruptible high and mighty. Just please let's not take his contributions to Nigerian society and his struggle for our democracy from him.
