Pleeease, don't stop, chic2pimp . Your critiques are highly welcome . Speaking of such, how can a woman's words have such a drilling effect on a grown man? First David, and now Halfwit, have been reduced to tears under the damning comments of the evil Bea. How she does it I don't know, but it is not a skill I envy. Freddie cried like a lass in the diary room, and then wallowed in tears in the bedroom. Bea's words must have cut him deep, coupled with the fact that she moved to another bed, telling Freddie she didn't want to be around his "negative aura". All my earlier conceptions about her have been confirmed. She can't even give a decent apology. Roddy asked her to go in and comfort Freddie, but all she could do was start talking in that patronizingly high-bred way of hers that doesn't sound apologetic at all. Unfortunately, there'll be no chance for the public to vote her out because it's Marcus and Freddie that are up. I already have a feeling it wouldn't be the latter leaving on Friday. |
. . .chic2chimp or what ever u call urself, lolxxx, okay maybe I do get carried away with the reality shows, but that's me being observant of everything going on around me. Giving a detailed commentary on NL also keeps others who are too busy to watch sometimes, in touch with what's going down. I'll try to hold myself in check, okay? ![]() |
And will somebody please tell Marcus to go to bed? Tomorrow he'll oversleep again and cause more trouble for the whole house. Staying up late, parading the house like a ghost and sitting at the bus stop staring into space is just an obvious attempt to stay relevant to BB. He actually is deluding himself that he hasn't been evicted yet because he makes the house interesting with his tactics. Pathetic!!!(luv ya, David) . I think he's actually going a little mad, he'll be certifiable soon, just you wait . Well, I'll be off to bed meself before chic2pimp says I'm spewing too much venom . |
Something dramatic to happen?? Dude (as Half-wit would say), I think it already has . Bea has turned against her staunchest ally Freddie, actually disgraced him in front of Lisa and David by telling him he's not as smart as he thinks he is! And things have degenerated from there. As of this moment, I don't think they're even speaking. But knowing Bea, she's slag you behind your back and then come round and hug and kiss and make up with you. I don't even know who I detest the most right now: Siavash(for being a transparent desperado who'd rather dyyye than be evicted) Marcus( who thinks the whole show revolves around him and thinks without him the show would be dry ) or Freddie(who's gutted by Bea's betrayal but can't even dredge up a decent slag against her behind her back.) All in all, the Lisa, David & Charlie side of the house is winning. And damn, it's about time! |

If you were watching from day one, you'll see that Rita was always the loudest, even when the others were "forming" she was just too razz(sorry, I mean "real", according to her fans ). She was never really ladylike and was always all over the place. It's sad that as time went on, being put down by others and by some issues in the house finally dampened her lively spirit. But that "offing" of her shoes to dance was the final nail in the coffin that proved she is just not yet an ideal anything. You can be natural without being "bush", I think. Mixing with the right kind of people will improve her overall personality, I'm sure. ![]() |
OMG, I loved Bruce Willis in that film!!! I had to watch it twice to really understand it. It's been a while so I can't remember everything, but it's a twisted tale and it's not really meant to make perfect sense. I'll leave someone else to break it down(if they can) but I think it was one of the best movies I've seen, all my favourite actors were in it. It's a comic book movie too, so that made it extra cool! |
@ Knowall I can assure you that D'banj stopped spending money on the show long time ago. The numerous sponsors, seen and unseen, would have been falling over themselves to contribute to the show. That car, that 5million, even the ring, would have been "gifted" by one of the sponsors for free to D'banj to give away. |
Wow guys, let's stop the hate, hatred will poison everything. First it was hate for Bola for winning, hate for D'banj for "cheating" Rita out of winning, now this. Let's get back to the topic or let the topic be LOCKED ffs!!!!! |
Lol, I was glad that Charlie is more than a cute face and a "Geordie" accent: he told Freddie where it's at. Actually called Half-wit a little worm!!! You know they couldn't stand him from the start; they were forced to like him when the public kept him in. But now, the gloves are off. Will he win? It used to be a foregone conclusion, but now I'm not so sure. The people that don't deserve to win at all are Siavash(he's not as innocent as he seems) Marcus(he's too domineering and he's basically an arrogant tit), Freddie(he's freaking everyone out with his creepiness) Bea(she thrives on arguments and counter arguments. She just can't shut up and her crocodile tears---- )The rest: Charlie, Dogface, Lisa, Rodrigo and yes, David, deserve a shot at the prize. At least they're normal. "Stupid" (to the house snobs) but trust me, they're normal. ![]() |
Eeeyah, i don see say love dey shack you As you dey cloud nine, i hope d sky dey blue? ![]() If na me, I go stick to this bobo like glue since him get d personality&looks to be your boo Complete man for dis world dey hard to find No try escape o, allow am to blow ya mind ![]() |
FL Gators, e be like say you need pidgin practice ![]() Your poem fit break head with all d big grammar antics But I no be olodo, so I understan' wetin you mean Be like say one bobo out there dey make you keen But like a smart babe, you no wan fall Abeg do jo, no hesitate to answer loff's call Life dey too short, love makes it sweet Just leave yaself to dance to the fast heart beat ![]() |
@ tumababa, D'banj probably meant, to roughly translate Yoruba, "Bola to win," meaning, Bola that won. He was probably singing it to Wande Coal's You Bad", where there're some lyrics "See this lepa, lepa to bad ooo ." So it wasn't a slip after all I guess. |
About Rita, I meant that, when Marian Anazodo was taking forever to announce the results, Rita begged to sit down cos she couldn't cope with the suspense standing up. She finally stood up at the end and they all held hands etc. The girl no get mind abeg, she wouldn't have been able to handle it. Let's just celebrate with Bola because she's going to rock that convertible and the N5, 000, 000!!!! |
@ THE AMAKA You might be right, but what can we do? Sometimes, the public can make a poor judgement and it's up to the organisers to do what is best for the show . Rita couldn't even stand to hear the results! How will she cope for one year of publicity and drama that comes with this? She'll break down like Susan Boyle of Britain's Got Talent!! Let's take it all in good faith, people. Bola deserves it. I felt sad for Shona and Chidinma, 7% and 8% sounds really mean! |
So many Rita fans indeed . We all assumed she had the most fans- but methinks, she had the most vocal fans. Rita this, Rita that. But Bolanle's fans had a secret weapon---working silently from under like true mercenaries! Bola has got it all, polish, beauty and brains. Once she does an overall makeover, you won't recognise her! Also, she matches D'banj perfectly!! You were the best, Bola, don't let anyone tell you different! ![]() |
Na na na na naa Bola is the winner ! If there'd been a bet I'd have won loads of cash cos I told all my peeps that Bola should win . Not that I was sure she would(judging by the sheer multitude of RFC) and Rita being Rita, she threw off her shoes to dance the celebratory dance with Bolanle. Nice, real nice .But isn't it weird tho' that pretty-face Chidinma got less than 1000 votes? Yikes! Even Shona(my second favorite) got faaaar less votes than Rita's 10,000 and Bolanle's 12,000. I'm sure there'll be a lot of cries of foulplay from the Kokomansion site that their beloved Rita didn't win. Many warned D'banj not to bother coming to the London concert without Rita. Who knows? I'm sure her presence can be arranged - but she won't be coming as the winner as they hoped!!!! Congratulations Bolanle - you be correct chic! ![]() |
Dear Rita, For the last time, Rita, no one hates you - and in case you ever read this, no one thinks you're a mistake either, for entering the house. What would be a mistake is letting you win because of the sentiments of fans who think it will be good for you. It won't. You have potential, but there's a long way for you to go. Let someone more capable take the prize, she will deserve it. You've had your time in the limelight, you've gained adoring fans. But it would be unfair to all concerned if, in the end, you win and you can't deliver. The Kokolette role is one that begins immediately. No one is going to wait for the months/years it might take to properly groom and school you for a post that lasts just one year. I hope you understand. Thanks for bringing your colour to the house. We learned a lot from you, we hoped you learned something too. Enjoy the brighter future that lies ahead of you now. Best Regards, maedan ![]() |
People are afraid to talk bc their choice might be the one person others think is crap . Anyway, last time I checked, Nike Oshinowo was holding it down. I think the real fashion icons can't be found in Nollywood, but in the hot society parties, esp in Lagos. |
Unlike some who simply write here and there to increase their number of posts and not that they wish to contribute sensibly, I think I can say with all seriousness that there are no more any "colonial masters" in the world, or we'd have called them in. UK, US etc are world powers, but we still hold our own international control. If we too vex, I'm sure we can colonize a country or two of our own . |
Rita fans don't understand that nobody hates her because of her poor communication skills. She is 19, lacks exposure(when they were given that culinary task, she was looking cluelessly and dazed as the governess talked about canapes, five course meals and desserts. Una wan kill am!?! ). Also, babe can't even dance(the simplest, coolest thing any respectable lady should know how to do ) and let's face it, she is far too young and her winning might burst her too quickly into the showbiz world and to me, she's not ready: physically, psychologically and mentally. Reaching the top three should be a great enough achievement for a girl who was once kicked out of school for her inability to pay her fees. She made it this far, her fans - and Rita herself - should be satisfied with that. |
Tell you the truth, mohawkchic, I was very relieved there wasn't a double eviction after all. They made it look like one by calling both Lisa and Hira up like both of them were going, then choosing one. I think it's an ok thing that Hira left, she never has fun with anybody, just flits about like a peaceful moth . All the other housemates do something that makes the house interesting, so the voters voted for their favourites. Who would choose Hira as a favourite? ![]() I feel Bea is going to change for the better, she's been real shook up the past few days now that she knows that in the house, she's not Miss Popular. And did you see David's face when BB said he was safe? Priceless! I'm happy he didn't leave because he was the only one who ever faced up to Bea. I love that Lisa stayed too, that shows Half-wit that he's no god, he can't tell the viewers what to do!! ![]() |
OmG!!! lolrotf at the "Hmm. . .long sigh" thing you said about Half-wit. It's been bugging me for ages but no one mentions it over here, so I gave up. That and his awful singing is enough to turn any self-respecting woman off him!!! Double evictions? Wow, didn't know that. I guess I'll be hurrying home tonight to catch all the hoopla! ![]() |
Who's Ben Kingsley Well, I hope there's a seriously fetching female co-star to make the movie worthwhile, cos the little I've seen, I'm not impressed. This movie better have strong characters, a strong plot, and some kick-ass battle scenes. If not, then---- . |
Ugh! Pig's eyes, pig's tails, pig's brains----BB is just the king of torture. No fancy tea party could ever wash the taste of pig's parts from their mouths, not in a long while, I think. But it was fun watching them force it down . I'm not sure who I want to go now, maybe Marcus, cos he's started to do a "Noirin" on Bea - I knew he'd latch on to one of the available women sooner or later. Lisa told BB she's sure both of them are just messing about together, nothing sexual. And I believe that bc later in the bathroom, that hussy Bea was telling Siavash to his face that a romance between them would have happened if not for Noirin. Who's being a loose woman now? Bea seems to be making all the dumb moves she was blaming Noirin for. Messing about with Freddie, then Marcus, then practically coming on to Siavash, who could only respond with embarrassment. If she was half as sexy as she thinks she is, Siavash wouldn't think twice about accepting her "proposal". To think Half-wit has been panting after her . But she can't even stand him to be in the bathroom with her, but doesn't mind displaying herself for Siavash. What a tart! ![]() |
lol. You're mean . I hope the movie will not flop because of their choice. I mean, how many major male lead roles has he played? I mean big time? Well, who knows, maybe this movie will do for him what Troy did for Brad Pitt. ![]() |
I wouldn't exactly have picked him for the role(I do believe Orlando Bloom would have suited it better ) But if he can pull off a decent six-pack and some good biceps to go with the revealing costumes, then I have no complaints . |
There's no harm in wanting to look good in pictures - and in real life! . However, since it's not in our power to change what we naturally look like(unless you want to take the MJ route ), with effort and with time, you can influence how you come out in pictures. Experts have advised people who are not so confident about how they look in pix, to find out, from any previous pix they have taken, which angle flatters them most, and work with that. This might mean using the mirror a lot to find your best face( ) or asking friends to take your pic and while they do, ask them to advise you which "face" suits you "in camera". No one is saying you should turn into an automatic, stiff person with the same pose all the time, but you should have a special pose for pictures that never let you down! ![]() |
