It's the foolish leaders who have that policy mentioned in the 19th verse that hold that money answer all things. They are always feasting, but not amending the system.

Leadership should not be given to spiritual children they will mess things up. They will mess things up because people will eat, drink and party when they are supposed to work and nothing of note will be achieved. When nothing of note is done the city decays. When I was younger, we use to attend christ Apostolic Church. At the age of 8, we startee attending Mountain of Fire.

When I turned 15, we left mountain of fire for CE.
The first service I attended in CE was awkward to me. Especially whenever prayer points are called, even a 6 year old kid will be speaking gibberish.

What pained me most is: I pray in clear English. One day, someone approached me and said I wasn't filled with the Holy Spirit. I was 16 then. I was astonished by those words. I asked him "How?" he replied by telling me that I don't speak in tongues.

I swallowed that. I joined the choir in CE. I discovered something among the members of CE. The previous choir master was excommunicated because he married from dunamis church and the pastor in CE wasn't in support of the marriage. That guy left CE.

I caught the new choir master fvcking the lead female singer on one of our Saturday choir practice in the church hall. They didn't expect me to come so early. I was 17 then. He tried to bribe me with some cash which I rejected, then the lady offered her body for a quickie... I had to run away because I scared for my life..Humans can do anything when their reputation is at stake. I left the church for a while.

Months later, I came back. Things worsened. Or maybe my eyes opened. I swept the previous incident under the rugs (except now).
I observed the semi-nude dressing in the church, the guys who fry hair... In fact... I stopped seeing CE as a church... My friends call it - Pimping gathering. A gathering where you hunt for women to lay with.

You read everything by the OP and concluded he does not know the contexts in which money did not "answer" everything? How come it? The people who go to the healing school from various nations in the world is it because they lacked money? You of all people should know what the OP was referring to.

There are overzealous members everywhere it does not mean it is a CE teaching. I reckon that those who are not grounded are the one's to fall victim. I can give you 2 examples. A leader visited me a long time back when I was in school and stayed with me. I took care of him and gave him something when he was leaving. Few weeks later I was moved to send him air time and I did- he aptly told me how led I was as he was on his way to get credit before I sent him one. Then few months later he calls me on his own and asks me for airtime. What put me off was when he added "make it bigger this time". Ofcourse I saw it and did not respond to it. That is one.

Another time (2 years ago to be exact) I was called by a sister in church to remind me about a pledge I made concerning something in church. I was taken aback because I know I redeemed my pledge a week after I made it but I indulged her further to ensure I did not forget anything. But when she mentioned how much she said I owed the church I knew she was probably looking for a way to meet a target and decided to exploit "radical givers". I had to kindly tell her that she must be in error to which she apologized thereafter.

I gave all that background to say Pastor Chris does not force or teach that people should be coerced to give. If March felt that way, it was not the prevalent teaching in church and I know this because I have served under a handful of branches. If you even include your own wrong notion that people don't care about how the funds show then that is all on you. Instead of do something wrong for money, why don't you give what you have or not give at all? Is it by force?

You ran into another big error in sighting Peter or Paul. Then you tried to patch it up by saying Jesus accused satan for stirring it. Jesus correction of Peter was proof that he was in the wrong. I wager that one of the ways Jesus knew Peter was voicing the thoughts of satan is because he spoke out of turn. There is a right way to do things in God's kingdom. Paul could also rebuke Peter because that was Paul's jurisdiction. You don't expect me to go to Living Faith and tell them the anointing oil is not the Holy Spirit in a bottle. There is order in God's house. If you saw Pastor Chris minister with Benny Hinn, when he asked Pastor Chris to pray on the Prayer Shawls, Pastor did it but if you know him at all you would know he does not teach or practice such things. That is how to follow order and be at peace in God's way.

He did not drive the crowd away. There were many other viewing centers around that one and people were told to go there free of charge. Those people would have still gone there and given their hearts to Christ.

He did not answer that question fully because he is addressing a lot of people. That levy was placed to curtail crowd. Nigerians hate anything they have to pay for so that was the logic the organizing committee were working with.

I have attended many programs with the MOG. People like to throng in even when their heads are not in the right place. I have seen people try to secure 7 seats for their friends by dropping some materials there and before you know it the gathering will look disorganized. To restrict such people, the N1000 fee was to make only serious members go in because the Live service is boradcast around the world. It is too high powered for gaffes and fluffs.

Ask yourself a question, that venue is used so many times within a year by the ministry for even international meetings yet no fees are paid. If they really wanted to raise money why not charge a fee each time the venue is used? Also, there were many venues in and around the LCA where viewing was absolutely free and people were directed there. Lastly, the majority of people who bought those tickets were pastors of respective churches that gave it to their members to attend. The tickets sold out completely, a week before the New Years service.

People should give me a break abeg. I saw Pastor Chris give an Indian Pastor $500k. How many New Years services will he need to raise that type of money? The LCA is a 25k capacity venue at N1000 per person that is N25M. Not up to 1/4th of $500k that he dashed out like he was giving N50k.

You cannot force logic. You simply get it or you don't. Satan cannot perform all those things until after the rapture and within great tribulation (which is part of why it will be a great tribulation). If that were not the case then Paul and Stephen could also be the false prophets and christs that Jesus was prophesying about. It is the same Jesus that told you a kingdom that stands against itself will fail in relation to being accused of using Belzebub's power.

Jesus, Paul and John revealed the type of power satan will be able to wield once the body of Christ is raptured. I did not even go to new scriptures, I simply interpreted the scriptures you posted IN CONTEXT. You cannot interpret scriptures in isolation.

John the Baptist's message is old school. Jesus even said so. People for years have tried to eschew sin but kept sinning all the more. Paul exposed this in Rom 7. That new life is superior to sin and all the wiles of the devil. Without that life, any eschewing of sin anyone practices will end up in futility.

No teacher world over (perhaps except Joseph Prince and a few others) understand "metanoia" or repentance the bible way or to the degree that Pastor Chris does. When you turn on the light, darkness will depart. Yelling about so much darkness in the world is the path people with zero revelations take. Pastor Chris centers his message on the righteousness we have in Christ and not the sins we ought to flee from. Righteousness is greater than Sin.

If the OP misunderstood this truth and continued to live in sin and fornication the fault is on him. The bible says a man who looks into the mirror of God- his word, and does not act accordingly is akin to someone who looked into a mirror and forgot what he looked like (and not that the mirror is bad). Genuine repentance unto God is by inundating one's mind with the word of God till it is all you act and think. When you do that, you would put aside fleshly reasonings like "he perms his hair, he cannot be a MOG" and other such unedifying garbage.

The Op in its entirety has already tested the spirit of Chris. I, and many others on evidence here have as well. You can't teach on National TV that masturbation isn't a sin and yet you are of God. Light and darkness has got no business.

Like 2 Thes 2, Rev 13 and Matt 24 the timeline of events was clearly delineated. All 3 were referring to a great tribulation after the rapture has occurred. 2 Thes 2 in fact tells us why satan's power would be in full force then enough to do the mighty signs, wonders and deeds- the church of God, who are presently responsible for limiting His power would be taken away from the way. Paul says so in verse 7.

Concerning Moses and Aaron, I do believe there were also magicians in Jesus' day as well in Peter and Paul's. I don't see how the presence of sorcerers who don't cast out demons or heal the sick is used as evidence that Satan performs miracles. And if your argument still subsists then you must point me out to whom you consider genuine men of God whose demonstration of power via signs, wonders, mighty deeds and miracles eclipses or at least is on par with Pastor Chris. If you cannot do so, then your argument will be that Satan is more powerful than God.

Now concerning masturbation, if a man masturbates to his wife while having sex or if he is to do a penile test to (check his fertility) that includes him submitting semen for test is he sinning while providing it?

Below is a summary of how John the baptist was known:

Isaiah 40:3 (Isaiah's prophesy about the Messenger, John the Baptist)

Malachi 3:1 (Another prophecy about same person)

John 1:23 (John tells them he is that person in the prophesy)

Matthew 11:7-10 (Jesus concurred and went further to tell people who John the Baptist is and how his lifestyle relates to "desert" )

Who called Chris?

John read the scriptures- some of which you listed above (OT), saw his place in it and fulfilled it. People who saw him fulfilling those scriptures confirmed he was called. Jesus did same in Luke 4:21.

Pastor Chris is doing same like Paul said in 2Cor 12:12.

The problem with this teaching of an unbroken line is that in A.D.1045, Pope Benedict IX was run out of office because of his unworthiness, with Silvester III taking his place. When Benedict IX returned, he sold the Papal throne to Gregory VI, but still refused to give up his own claim to the throne. So at this time, all three men claimed to be the legitimate Pope! Then in 1046, the German Emperor Henry III settled it by deposing all three Popes and appointing a fourth, Clement II.

It's funny that since after 1046 AD, Roman catholic popes have been succeeding a pope appointed by a German emperor. LOL.

If you have the correct information but choose to dislike what he believes in, he may choose to ignore you. But if your information is wrong and may be the reason for your dislike of what he believes in, he is not in the wrong to show you what is right (whether or not your dislike for what he believes in changes).

I have had my share of CE. It doesn't really matter what i think. My close friend for a long time was a member and even if i had my reservations, i kept it to myself just like i have done here.

Personally, I think this reasoning is flawed. If someone dislikes you due to a misinformation they have, you might want to disabuse that misinformation without being defensive. I think he is doing exactly that.

Someone said his Pastor encourages sin or what not and you want him to keep mum because you (who clearly has reservations about his pastor) said nothing?

I think the Bible encourages one to contend for the faith that they profess.
