Politics2face Loses N40 Million •shuts Down Hypertek by mafioso(op): 2:10am On Jun 15, 2009
According to reports, Hypertek Nigga, 2face Idibia, has lost a whopping N40million. No thanks to incompetent hands at Hypertek, his label.
Insiders say the boy from Otukpo is so peeved that he had to terminate the services of those he employed to run Hypertek and shut down the label, at least, for now.

Insiders say despite pumping N40 million into the project, results have not been forth-coming.

This development has been attributed to the lack luster performance of Unstoppable, an album which has great tracks but which critics say has not been well promoted.

According to insiders, his propaganda machinery failed woefully to promote Unstoppable like Kennis Music did to his two previous albums.
The first signs of trouble popped up last year when Da Natives, the only act on Hypertek broke up. However, his spin doctors had gone to town, stating that Da Natives (Hycenth Idibia and John Agon) would release separate albums under the label.

However, it finally emerged that all was not well when 2face returned to Now Muzik recently for a management deal. Insiders say the move is not unconnected with his desire to put his career back on track.

Meanwhile, there are strong indications that the star could be on his way back to Kennis Music.

Politics7 Year Old Boy Kidnapped In Benin by mafioso(op): 5:39pm On Mar 14, 2009
BENIN CITY – A seven-year –old son of the Executive Chairman of Ovia South West Local Government Area, Hon. Monday Aighobahi, has been kidnapped, just as three policemen were yesterday arrested along with 12 suspected kidnappers in Benin City. The three policemen, according to the state Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Danlami Yar’ Adua, were nabbed when a team of policemen trailed a syndicate of suspected kidnappers who he disclosed, were at the verge of abducting their victims in Benin City. Although the Compol did not parade the three policemen-tuned kidnappers before newsmen, other suspects alleged to be members of the syndicates were paraded in chains. Also, the little child identified as Master Etinosa Aighobahi, The NIGERIAN OBSERVER gathered, was abducted at his school gate about 7:40 a.m yesterday by four unidentified gunmen who later shot sporadically into the air to scare away possible danger as they took away their victim to a yet-to-be know hide-out. The ugly incident, it was further gathered, triggered confusion and chaos in the school premises as parents who went there to drop their wards scampered for safety, apparently to avoid being hit by stray bullets of the gangsters. Though kidnapping has become rampant in recent times in Benin City, Master Etinosa Aighobahi, The NIGERIAN OBSERVER investigation revealed, is the youngest victim of the criminal trend in the state. Recently, the biological father of a law-maker in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Patrick Aisowieren Monday Osayande of Big-Joe Motors, Mr. Kennedy Okoeguale of Buvel Oil, and many others were similarly abducted in Benin City with ransom running into millions of naira allegedly paid to regain their freedom. While confirming the abduction, the state Police Commissioner, Alhaji Danlami Yar’ Adua maintained that police had begun a clampdown on kidnappers in the state as those arrested would be charged to court upon police investigation.

PoliticsShe Want's To Rebrand Nigeria: Hahahaha by mafioso(op): 1:47am On Mar 11, 2009
I use to like this woman (Dora Akunyili) but for her talking about rebranding Nigeria, without rebranding the political system mean she is blind and confused, we are suffering in Nigeria and all she is planning to do is to show to the other world that we are not suffering, i dont know what to say about her sha for now but for me i think she doesn't know what she is doing.
