There you have it Ladies and Gentlemen, the Ingrates have shown their ungrateful character again. There was a reason behind the creation of Abuja and thank God that Abuja is here. |
harde2lah: By d way, what is d essence of the letters coming shortly after obj's letter was released?Iyabo is still alive. She has not denied being the author but has rather confirmed that she was behind it. What more do you need? If his children and now his wife have decided to come out and speak about who their father truly is then who are you to still doubt. Isn't this the same obasanjo that Fela (RIP) warned you of back in the 80's? |
hercules07: @Omo_TierBy Naija you also include the amiable Fashola ![]() |
Omo_Tier1: Hehe.... instead of counter FACTs with FACTs, as usual you have resorted to LAGSNo you are no other than FKK, an accomplished and distinguishable liar at best ![]() |
FFK aka Omo-Tier you will do well by desisting from posting nonsense reports from LASG sites ![]() |

harde2lah: I thank God for people like who will not compromise and allow sentiments to prevent them frm using their common sense in sensitive issues like this. Am wit u on this one. THINK NIGERIANS, THINK!The letter was addressed originally to GEJ from Obasonjo as a personal letter. It was neither a petition but OBJ then deliberately leaked it out to prove to his newly affiliated gang members that he is against GEJ. The letter was also full of outright blatant lies to play to the gallery and get gullible people like you against the President. The President reserves the discretion to reply personally to OBJ which if I were in position to advise, will be to duly ignore. If OBJ has recourse to raise issues that he felt where affecting the security and unity of this Nation by the President such as he alleges by way of training and mobilization of a mercenary force of snipers, OBJ as a states man and a major benefactor of the Nigerian commonwealth need not write the president but go to the appropriate authorities and directly to the generally public and announce his findings. But we all know there is not a single shred of evidence to what OBJ alleged in his letter and that it was maliciously written to pitch public support against the President. |
Omo_Tier1: The last time I checked, the regions that contribute the most to Nigeria's GDP is not the region with oil. If the 2012 estimates are to be believed, oil only accounted for only 22% of the gross earnings of the FG.olodo. That estimate that you pulled out of ur a@rse abi. Then why are abokis fighting in the senate for upward review of the benchmark if it is so negligible? why are your governors demanding for excess crude to be spent rather than saved? That estimate if I may indulge you came from proceeds outside that of oil earnings. Check any where and you will find that Nigerian government as a whole and the economy are by and large dependent on oil. Oil ACCOUNTS FOR 90% of GDP and it will remain so if you lazy bums don't go back to farming cocoa. It also worth noting that the SE accounts for 22% of revenue which shows a proportionate contribution per population representation. |
Omo_Tier1: With the billions of dollars that accrue to the government yearly ( in excess of $100bn) why is it difficult for the government to put in place an airport project of the future?the sooner you stop planning with other peoples money the better. You must remember how self sustainable you were when you were a cocoa republic. Can you justify what percentile of that billion dollars came from your pockets? |
talktimi: I understand your point of view but what im trying to say is that this particular airport has been left stagnant for over 3 decades and so i'm bound to be happy when a govt comes across and picks interest in improving it from the present status quo. Could something better have been proposed ? Definitely, but we can not correctly identify the budget constraints this particular ministry is working with. Also knowing fully well that (serious) airports are constantly under expansion, definitely improved architectural structures are bound to follow even if not at the MMA then at least at other international airports scattered across the countryIf I may add, the future is definitely going East. Whether they like it or not investors are coming and not some repackaging firm that now dominate the Lagos Industrial base but heavy Industries from auto manufacturers , shipping and even aviation! Don't be surprised to hear soon in the news of a major European airline setting up a transit hub in Calabar for their newly established African hub. This airline had been negotiating with former regimes but the bribes did not kick in enough and their initial plan was to expand and manage the Abuja airport but given the security situation and proximity to boko haram and also growth forecasts for the SE, this global airline will soon conclude taking over CALABAR Airport. |
Omo_Tier1: Haha.... I have challenged you with one question:Why on earth will a modern airport in this day and age be built without a mono-rail or intra-city railway system and all you could come up with is talk about Fashola and His achievementsIn your demented little mind you assume that airports are built independently from the city they are meant to service i.e. power, roads and rail networks servicing the airport are supposed to be independent from the city management. Go and ask Fashola to do some thing for once other than sweeping Lagos roads with remnant APC rally paraphernalia |
Omo_Tier1: How I wish GEJ was a performer like Fashola and then I see Him with Picture like this >>> It will make me even joyous to make a full portrait of the picture and hang it somewhere in my office so even gets talking and wanting to know more. Alas! the reverse is the caseFashola is not even in charge of the state he is purported to have been elected to manage. If one man can control a sitting duck governor how can he even dream of becoming the president? Your fashola is a stooge for theifnibu! |
Omo_Tier1: Hehe... you can post a million gifs... you must think everyone on here is a low lifer like you and exist at the mercy of your etisalat data planYour stupid1ty is only equal to your level of bigotry. |
Omo_Tier1: Haha.. see this one talking about data plan when we are rolling with fibre optics watching 3D movies online with 3D home threatresee the derailer himself accusing others. I know your game here and which is to total distract from the main content but it won't work rather your are making a mockery of your pay masters. Time to exhaust your 10mb assh0le |
Omo_Tier1: Abeg... see what one of your brother wrote here https://www.nairaland.com/147066/why-nigeria-still-behind.wealth is relative expression. I am on unlimited data plan. ![]() poverty to prove it lets start with some gifs |
Omo_Tier1: Hehe.. Fasola ghost must be hunting you in your dreams. This thread is about the shed of an airport your puppet GEJ is using to deceive you people. You get paid by the post abi? I can see your world class bypass system what if we compare that with say that of Los Angeles Lagos really deserves a befitting bypass system I must say. FG should divert more ND oil to help fix the road networks in Lagos since Thiefnibu can barely muster only one bridge and a flyover in 14yrs.
|
Omo_Tier1: Wake up and stop living in the past. This is the new lagos if the black and white television in your village has not shown you it yetOHH I see fashola built those bypass in the 70's when cocoa pricing was good ode! you can do better |
vislabraye: APC is corrupt, PDP is corrupt so which one should Nigerians choose ?Nobody asked you to choose but you can choose not to be used like the baboons that keep posting trash here. If the Politicians know that we are not as gullible to their nonsense pranks then they will definitely act up. The youth today are the problem because they are lazy in all aspect and want easy money and influence that's why they willingly follow these clowns and take in all their nonsense. If you only knew the dread the average Nigerian politician has of us. |
Omo_Tier1: Hehe.. learn to not settle for less! We have the money, we can do better and we should never be satisfied with mediocrityIndeed you can do better by wasting other people's oil revenue. A city that cannot even solve common sanitation issues and transportation is begging for a first tier airport. How many int'l flights do they have operating in and out of MMA in a year and compare that to what they have operating within a week in CDG Olodo even if they build the best airport with 10 rwys nobody will come to that your filthy city.
|
Since you have singled France's CDG airport why not compare every aspect of human endeavor between France and Nigeria. Olodo. Your cheap tricks has been long anticipated in this thread. |
Since you know it all then advice your APC governor on what type of airport infrastructure will be adequate for your needs. I have nothing more to say to you. Ingrate! |
This thread is about Obasanjo's wife book about her life with the tyrant wife beater. APC etouts have successfully derailed it to their national and favorite pass time of bashing Jonathan |
How can I blame you. As I said earlier FG is wasting their time with that slum village What has your useless State government done so far as per aviation infrastructure. Delta has two standard aerodromes that were funded wholly from outside FG intervention, Akwa Ibo financed their own, the same for Gombe and lately Jigawa. What has the center of excellency under Asiwaju Thiefnibu done since 1999 with all the funds. If you can do better then go and start with your phantom lekki project. |
Omo_Tier1: FYI, CDG Terminal 2 was built from scratch so I do not know what you are on about!I have passed through Charles DeGaul Int'l severally and there are several terminals. Building on one additional terminal is a small feat to France given the number of tourist that fly into that country year round. So from what I can deduce GEJ's accomplishments must be assessed on first tier world status. Have you forgotten that you are a 3rd world nation? Please you have nothing to offer. move along! |
Now it should be crystal clear to you how deceitful this man obasonjo is. He wrote that useless letter on behest of his new affiliation and released it to make a mockery of the current administration not because of any love or deep sense of patriotism but for his own selfish and greedy self. You guys need to wake up and stop being manipulated by these spent geriatrics that have no stake in the future since they won't be around then and a person like OBJ whose children are disowning him left right center obviously does not have them in mind talk less of you or your own kids. Be wise! |
Omo_Tier1: I know most of you have not traveled far and wide to see what humanity is doing, hence when they put two slabs on the walls and call it an airport, you all jump high heaven. Before you can walk you must first crawl. You must start some where and this administration is obviously moving forward. Those airports you mentioned started humbly and gradually expanded to their current status. Apart from Dubai airport which was built from scratch to it's current dimensions (and it still being remodeled as we speak) none of the aforementioned airports were what they were 20 years ago. Technology, aircraft capacities and passenger growth over the years have left their mark on all those airports including the one you have pictured. You must also consider the current passenger handling and aircraft that are being or expected within the near future serviced at the MMA . Yes we are playing catch up because nothing was done in the past. So stop whining your nonsense. This just goes along way to reinstate my claim that Lagos as a whole doe not deserve any further investment from the FG purse. Much has been given to you. Go and ask Thiefnibu to account for 14yrs of stewardship! |
osystein: Apart from the fact that linking to that site goes against this forum's rules, how does that video add anything to the discussion? I'm certain that one can find heterosexual material just as gruesome as the prison rape video you linked to.
|
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. |
Omo_Tier1: Question: Why is there no train or mono-rail in the new airport rendering? So that they can transport you from Gate 5 to Oshodi, abi. Is there any rail structure on ground in Lagos? If you want to mention Fashola's light rail then don't. It is not enough for you that they are upgrading the airport but you want them to have a rail network that will transport you to your door step, ode! Go and ask your Governor to complete his phantom rail project first and if he finishes it at all ask him to commence linking it to the airport. Nah FG go do everything for una? I no blame you, nah free oil dey worry una. |

The links I have posted is from both LAGS and FG, so you might as well call me El Rufai

Dubai made a bold statement, declaring that by 2020 1/3 of the world ODIs would be through Dubai's three main airports and they put in place plans to actualize it and today, Dubai is now a heavy hub for traffic from Europe, Asia and indeed Africa connecting millions of passenger yearly.
