I did not bother reading it but I have been made familiar with it's contents.

This are what I don't like about the letter:

1. The letter was released about 2 weeks after it was authored and sent to the presidency

2. OBJ from the onset wanted to make the letter public and as such it was a political move by him to use the letter as a declaration of his withdrawal of support for GEJ

3. The above is a betrayal of whatever relationship he had with the current president and his position as former president and PDP stallwart knowing fully well that the letter was meant to go viral in the first place. OBJ was very malicious by including blatant lies about snipers and other rubish which was meant to further discredit the administration.

It is people like us that can see a ruse whenever it rears it's head.

Your lot fell for the ploy and have since used it as a rallying call. So who exactly is the docile sheeple?

Isn't obvious from the combined tenures in office that OBJ is a self serving person? His kids and wife are gradually attesting to the real nature of the man and you want us to take his political actions and statements above his personal affairs wherein we know that we as humans are more naturally disposed to act our true intentions at home than at the work place. Does this not tell you that the Man OBJ is a hypocrite who left office controversially and instituted corruption on his departure. Can you say you know the man for who he is more than his close family members?

tl;dr: OBJ does not have the moral right to criticize any Government since his administration was not flawless and his personal life does not reconcile him as a selfless person who claims patriotism above personal gain or favor.

Orlando Owoh: GEJ should learn from Ifeanyi Ararume of Imo State. He was replaced with Ikedi Ohakim in that state's election in 2007. OBJ defended this with the constitution which states that all candidates must be sponsored by their parties. Unfortunately for Ararume, that support was given to Ohakim.
