Education / What Is WAEC And NECO DOING????? ???? by magicminister: 8:26am On Aug 18, 2020
[b]WAEC has been in existence since before many of us were born but the test format and test procedure has not evolved since the 90s at the very least.

I stand to be corrected but As of August 18, 2020, WAEC has not figured out a way to host a web or online based testing. Even in the middle of a highly contagious pandemic, students are still required to come into class in order to take their test.

Last night, I did a quick maths; if 100,000 students take WAEC in Nigeria annually and pay an examination fee of 10,000N, that is a minimum of 1 billion generated from Nigeria alone.
So, a rough estimate will Tell you that WAEC as an institution generates upwards of 8 billion naira in revenue every year.

It is incredibly insane to think or even imagine that both testing bodies do not have the capability for students to test online. However, that is the unfortunate reality on ground.

There are so many third party testing centers that have built the skill and expertise for online testing/assessment and my recommendation to these two agencies is to partner with one or two of the test centers.....

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Governors, Lawmakers, Ministers Share 774,000 Jobs by magicminister: 4:55pm On Aug 17, 2020
Its crazy to see the House of Assembly hijack jobs meant for the poor masses but there is no outcry, protest or unrest from the poor masses.
No society has every successfully revolutionized itself without the man power of the oppressed.
Unfortunately, the spirit of the poor folks in Nigeria has been defeated.
They have been conditioned to worship the rich in hope of getting crumbs and hating the poor that looks just like them.

They masquerade is as tribal bigotry but in reality, poor people worship anyone with money regardless of tribe!
They also hate anyone that is just as poor regardless of tribe!

Colonized from within, polarized by militant religion, plagued by rulers beating the drums of war and unconcernedly picking their teeth while violent and merciless marauders spill blood like water, with vanishing annual budgets and spiralling debt profiles? Did I forget a vocal band of praise singers who are paid peanuts?

Let's tell ourselves the truth before it's too late.

They really know who they try it with!
My younger sister was sexually harassed by her lecturer back then.
Kept pestering the 17 year old girl for sex and actually made her fail her class twice.

Ended up going to school and connecting with my guys and lets just say, the lecturer is still unemployed right now.
The one time we crossed paths, he literally crossed to the other side of the street out of fear.

and then i was poor oh! Imagine what i would do if it was now!

You forgot both are not co-workers, so the boss' suppose threat to make her lose her job is not as the same as to make her suffer.

Since the world don't revolve around him, he can't stop her getting job else where. So, she is at her liberty to walk out willingly.. People quits or changes job liberally and willingly for many reasons, even this type of case inclusively.. So, she should not manipulate and abuse the liberty she has without using excuse and sympathy cards..

-Ask, what's her own decision? It's about her, not the tempter..

Well, with due respect, i can't really reason with you looking at the fact that your way of thinking is just appalling and backwards!
Since you are comfortable with women getting sexually harassed at work under the threat of job loss, i wish the same on you. You will be sexually harassed by someone more powerful than you! They will hold your means of livelihood over your head until they poke their dick in your anusss..... Then you can tell us your decision! Will you go into the teeming unemployment market where you are not guaranteed a job till you die or will you just get a lube and shine up that assssshole for some penetration!!

Sir, how is she a victim of sexual harrassment yet? Sexual relationship request and sexual harrassment don't share same fold. Get it right.

The boss asked it out at the expense of her job and giving her time to think about it. That's why she's here seeking advice NOT JUSTICE, and its all obvious that he won't retain her if she refuse his ungodly request.

Let her stand and reject it. If he insists, let her take the exit door at the back without giving job hunting excuses. The door is wide open for her with an option of liberty..

-Ask, what is her decision now?

The boss asking her out is not a problem even though it’s unethical.

It becomes harassment when you threaten to make the person suffer some level of hardship - in this case her job- if the amorous advances is rejected.

If your sister comes home and tells you that her oga wants to fuccck her or else she’ll lose her job, will you still take the same stand or will you do to the office and cave his fuckinggg head in??

I do always say double mind is a fervent and loyal partner of evil. You already conceived in and made up your mind while looking for licence card from the nairalanders to achieve it. "I LOVE MY JOB BECAUSE I HAVE LONGTIME BEEN SEARCHING FOR A JOB." Lolzzz, what a lamba code! A code to justify your sexual act with him for job security right..?

The escape route out of your double trap is to stand upright and run away through the exit door right behind you. He is a simp, and will use and dump you at the expense and risk of your job..

Your job is not totally secure by falling to his ploy..

She’s a victim of sexual harassment and you’re there chatting shit!
Bro, we all know getting a job in Nigeria is super hard and those that are ventually find one, would do anything to secure it.
So, it’s unfortunate that her boss is harassing and pressuring her for an amorous relationship.

We don’t have sufficient protection for our women and children. This should be an serious crime.

Nigeria is not a middle class friendly economy.
There are more poor people than middle class and very few ultra rich!
Such a setup is not enough to sustain any major large scale corporation unless that company is providing the very necessities we can't avoid. e.g. telephone.

The middle class are the drivers of most economy and currently, they barely exist in Nigeria.
Our middle class are considered "rich"

Whatever goes up, doesn't comes done. That's price control. Allowing these markets to do what they wanted is dangerous.

No it’s not! Please let me explain!

Deregulating the oil and gas industry will lead to a price increase for sure but it will also make it profitable for new players that can operate more efficiently to enter the game.
That way, it becomes “may the best man win” situation.
Look at us!! We produce oil, export it and then import it at the partial expense of the government.

Subsidizing the industry will never allow growth because it’s easy money. Companies don’t have to invest in refinery because regardless of the cost, FG will pay.

Imagine if the industry was deregulated and those old timers hiked the price to say 350N/liter on the excuse that the importation cost is high... then 4 years down the line, a new player builds a mega refinery and able to sell at 80N per liter cos they produce at a cheaper cost, who do you think will win?

Same thing has to be done in the electricity industry... open up distribution and generation!! Let’s unburden the government and kill these corrupt institutions!

The South African community in Nigeria has been a close kitted one, even before COVID 19 gave everyone a good punch most South African companies were already planning exist strategies. My worries is what they see in our economic that we are not seeing or taking note of that might smell doomsday for us. I just hope MTN and Multichoice are not planning same that would be a final nail on the coffin. All I know we need to start taking proactive steps, reduce our external debts and exposure to China Trojan loans.

Nigeria has a population of almost 200 million people.
A lot of companies will see a large potential market but the reality is that most Nigerians simply do not have the purchasing power to make any major foreign direct investment profitable. Also, doing business ethically in Nigeria can be a challenge!

ShopRite shouldn't go anywhere. If you give Nigerians this business opportunity, they would wanna become billionaires overnight. Truth be told, ShopRite is cheaper than our so-called market where you have to bargain for hours to buy commodities at inflated prices.

Let's use the present Rice scenario in Nigeria, when we were importing high quality stone free rice, we bought mudu at 600 despite being imported and of high quality. Fast forward today, mudu is 800 with all the stones minus the importation and custom duty. My question is, how can one produce something and it's more expensive than when you were importing?

Why this long epistle? Nigerians are opportunists that love taking advantage of situations at the detriment of their countryman. We see wickedness as being smart, fuel adds a naira and transportation price is hiked. ShopRite, kindly stay, same with DStv.

In Economics, it’s called “dumping”.
This is when a supplier sells their product at a cost lower than what it will take for the buyer to produce it themselves even though they have the means and the resources.

You have to understand that these foreign suppliers have had decades of efficiency in the rice production business and selling at a ridiculously cheap rate because they over produce and over supply. They can because it’s efficient for them to flood countries like Nigeria.

Our nascent manufacturers cannot profitably compete even if they produce it 100% locally. With time, they’ll attain that level of efficiency but they need an even playing field. That is why we need to stop those foreign products. In this specific case; rice!

All the fraud committed since the beginning of Nigeria by Nigerians is not up to 1/3 or what white people in Britain alone have committed.

We have to learn to love and appreciate us as blacks.
No race is perfect and you’ll find the good, bad and ugly in every race. The only difference is that whites are recognized for their good while their ugly side is ignored while blacks are recognized for their ugly side while the superseding good from the black race is largely ignored!!

Outside of religion and divide of conquer, I think poverty is also a very potent Tool in the hands of the political elite!
Those praising him, do you think they would be there is they were gainfully employed?
Do you think they would be there if they were properly educated to know that the government belongs to everyone?

When he brought out the 1,000 naira, look at how it was snatched from him.
Chai, the political class have broken the spirit of the average Nigerian. They have broken the will to fight and the will to create a functional society and they achieved this through poverty, illiteracy, preaching hate and tribalism!

To my fellow Nigerians, we need to learn how to live and let live. By default, a vast majority of Nigerians are intolerant towards any view, believe and behaviors they do not agree with!! That is why we all hate ourselves and even within a homogenous tribe, we still find a way to hate ourselves!!

Pure rubbish... Since she has advanced herself and now financially stable, why does she still desire to take the man house, half his property & collect child support?

Okay, let me school you!!
In US, if you owned the property before you guys got married, that property is yours. During divorce, it is not part of the settlement.
Only thing that is split are things that were gotten within the marriage.
The few exception are in states like Cali where there is a common law that means that half your shittt goes to her regardless of if it was gotten before or after marriage!

What i am trying to say is that if the court grants her ownership of the house and custody of the kids, that is because the house was gotten within marriage by either both of them or one of them!!

I am not supporting laziness of the men, but you forgot these men brought these wives to the US and sponsored their nursing carrers, if they didn't bring them to the US they would still be in nigeria hoeing or something.

Anyway, who in their right mind would go to nigeria marry wife and bring to the US?

The bolded is key to understanding the personalities of these men!
There are thousands of Nigerian women in US and many are single and searching.
They are established and do not need anyone's money.
But the guys that go to Naija to pick a wife from the village are typically men with low self esteem and fragile egos.
They only do that because they want a naive girl they can exploit and turn to a cash cow for their personal gratification.

First of all, if you are in the US and getting a wife from Nigeria, it will cost nothing less than 10k USD to get her and file the necessary paperwork.
That money couldve gone towards furthering themselves to ensure that they are earning high income. Its a thing of joy if your partner makes more money than you. It is a blessing. But then self entitlement creeps in followed by resentment when the wife refuses to spend all her money on them.
