Get Layd is simply a phenomenal album. All the tracks on it was straight fire I'm surprised it didn't win album of the year too.

Made In Lagos by Wizkid had tracks in it that I could skip but not Get Layd. I no fit skip any song for that album. Dude is wayyyyy too smooth abeg

No wonder Dem hold am to ransom for Uganda

E be like that 2006 drama/thriller movie 'Parfum' starring Ben Whishaw, one of 18th-century France's finest perfumers. Who uses the skin of virgin girls to make alluring perfumes.

Remember the last scene when the masses couldn't get enough of the fragrance and had to consume Ben literally when he poured the whole bottle on himself? That's exactly how Omah Lay was to the Ugandians. They just couldn't get enof they had to hold him down grin
Omah lay is over rated from my point of view.
Tems will have a longer and more relevant career than omah! That’s from my perspective tho

Why do we find it so easy to make jokes when our women go missing! They have families and people that love them and even though this is a largely anonymous site, we should give compassion so that we may recieve compassion! Your comment is sad and shows you’re a sad and miserable person!

'66 year old grandmother becomes head of WTO'

Am I the only one who doesn't exactly find anything offensive about the statement? People are just too insecure and sensitive.
It’s okay to be ignorant but it’s your responsibility to educate yourself. Read the comments, see opposing views and understand their reason being on the opposing side! Don’t just be happy being stupid lol
PoliticsRe: Okonjo-Iweala: Swiss Newspapers Call New WTO DG ’66-Year-Old Grandmother' by magicminister: 2:59pm On Feb 17, 2021
iReddington:
A lot of you asking what's wrong with calling her 66 year Nigerian grandmother are obviously not okay in the head and just plain stupid. It's not even a subtle jab at all.
So if you have qualifications a mile long from some of the best and elite institutions in the world, with numerous global accolades, you would prefer to be addressed and reduced to just your age, gender and nationality.
Do you know how bloody hard you have to work to get where she is with these qualifications, only for it to be diminished by pedestrian headlines and calling her a 66 year old Nigerian grandmother
Racist bastards.
I swear! I have come to understand that Nigerians are the smartest people on earth but have extremely limited social skill and exposure. Have extremely limited understanding of how the world works.

Armaggedon:
Is a grandmother suppose to be an insult?
It’s not an insult but she has so many experiences that has made her qualitified for the role.
66 year old HAVARD graduate
66 year old EX-Finance minister
Etc

But they chose to describe her as a 66 year old grandmother which has nothing to do with her skill set and qualifications! This hard working black woman finally makes it to the top of her career and they sum it up as “66 year old grand mother”.
If you can’t see anything wrong in this, the blatant disrespect and racism, then I have nothing else to say!

If all you valentine dick people cannot be helpful, then at least please keep quiet. Or if you must be funny, at least try to be original. This mentioning of dick anytime a teenage girl goes missing is insensitive and uncivilized, and is no longer witty. Do you know what the family is going through? Is that the kind of thing you want to hear people say if your own daughter goes missing? Poverty is no excuse for losing our humanity.

@op. I hope she's found. Don't lose hope. If she went on an errand, check the neighbours and shopkeepers along the route, maybe someone saw something. Normally, this is a job for the police, but in Nigeria, they neglect the most obvious things.
God bless you

For real though! Let’s learn to celebrate with others even when we think their achievement is insignificant. A kind word wouldn’t take you more than 5 seconds.
Make it part of you and see how things will begin to change for you.

No bro, it’s a big deal. If she did it all herself, that shows incredible commitment and a large budget lol!

Let’s give credit to people when they’ve earned it and let’s learn to celebrate with people when they celebrate. No news is too small to celebrate.

Watch as majority of Nairalanders will applaud her because it’s a sewing machine!
Had it been a car, even if she bought it with her sweat, they’ll accuse her of being an “olosho” and tell her to go get married or some dumb shitttt!!!!
The level of poverty here has created natural envy and hatred towards those that seem to be doing better!
BusinessRe: CBN New Policy On Cryptocurrency: What You Should Know by magicminister: 1:08pm On Feb 06, 2021
wonder233:
Its not by 'smart sounding clapbacks'. You are empty, just like the vast majority, that is why you need influencers to think for you while you simply jump on any bandwagon and trend. Again, I ask: what do you know about the topic at hand? Dissect the topic on the basis of macroeconomics and show a correlation between foreign exchange reserves and domestic currency stability and national income. Then we can have a discussion. Don't come here with your typical Nigerian youth shallow social media intellect. Coming here yakking about end sars and thinking you're making sense. My friend go and sit the fvk down.
1- how does a blanket ban of money transfer to Nigerian accounts from overseas make sense as a monetary policy??
1a- initially, payouts were made in Naira, now CBN mandated payouts to be made in dollars. Which is good for the customer but bad for the economy as a whole.

2- how does blanket ban of crypto make sense from a monetary policy perspective?

Any reasonable government will tax crypto gains on cash out. 10% of your crypto gains every time you cash out goes to the government or something like that.

Lol... I’m more exposed and clearly smarter and 10000 times richer than you. I typically don’t engage peasants but I’m bored lol! Insult away... it’s okay, take your frustration out on a random anonymous guy that can change your entire generation lol

Vacuous youth: shove your end sars farce down your anus. The only people that died where the ones hoodlums killed after you provided the enabling environment for them by your thoughtless blockade of roads and breakdown of law and order. Bunch of bandwagon goats. Endsars bend your mouth there. Read? No! All they do is press phone and seek thrills. What do you know about economics, monetary and fiscal policies? Coming here to say "endsars". Wasted generation
Remove all the insult and see if you made any atom of sense! You can engage people without resorting to insult but I guess your parent didn’t teach you that and even if they did, it’s obvious you learnt very little of nothing at all!
BusinessRe: CBN New Policy On Cryptocurrency: What You Should Know by magicminister: 8:28pm On Feb 05, 2021
You have to be really dense to not know this is their response to the end sars protest.

November last year, CBN banned all direct transfers to Nigerian bank accounts from outside the country. You can recieve money but not more than $5000 and not directly to your bank account, you’d need to go to the bank, provide ID and recieve in Cash.

Now, CBN banner crypto. Remember during the protest, after bank transfers were banned from sites like flutter wave, the people switched to crypto! Now the crypto is gone, people died and the protest is looking like it was for nothing!
BusinessRe: Who Else Is Experiencing Difficulty In Receiving Money From Abroad??? by magicminister: 8:24pm On Feb 05, 2021
jibbish:
Lies, I receive monthly renumeration from abroad and you are here talking thrash.

Do legit transfer, walk into any bank and receive your money either in dollars or naira
Before you outrightly call someone a liar, please consider the fact that their experience could be largely different from yours.
The cbn indeed implemented policies that prevents direct transfer of cash to Nigerian bank accounts. This happened in November 2020 and I suspect it in response to the #Endsars protest.
See, you can still recieve cash from abroad but just not in your account. You’ll have to go to bank, queue and the get it after showing your IDs
BusinessRe: Who Else Is Experiencing Difficulty In Receiving Money From Abroad??? by magicminister: 8:22pm On Feb 05, 2021
This is their response to #endsars.
Today they banned crypto

Lol!!
HealthRe: Exposing Of Patients To Student Doctors In Teaching Hospitals Without Consent by magicminister: 10:34pm On Jan 27, 2021
Soknown:
Reading comments on some posts, I think that we deserve the kind of leaders that we have.

Consent is important in everything, written or implied.
Coming to the hospital ( Teaching hospital inclusive) does not mean, you rights are burnt.

You can exercise your rights at any point of the hospital journey.

You can voice your preference at any point, like you want a male or female to examine you. If you are discriminated against or denied anything because you chose to exercise your right or preference. You have a ground to sue.

For the Professionals in healthcare, aside consent always ask for a Chaperone when dealing with Service users especially the opposite gender. It is for your protection, not the other way.
May your days be long and prosperous.
Nigerians absolutely deserve what they get.

GAZZUZZ:
It's a teaching hospital, and you are the sick patient. Unless you or the person that brought you did not see the signboard when entering. How will the students be taught without you?

It’s a public hospital paid for with TaxPayer money. Patients have the right to consent to participate in their research or refuse because of privacy reasons!!! Let’s be reasonable!
