Honestly, i strongly feel this is a good and timely move. I am sure the government will come up with an alternative.
Taking danfos off the street will open up the doors to greater investment opportunities in the transportation industry. Providing more BRT's which is a safer and cheaper alternative should ease the stress this would cause Lagosians. The Trains should be refurbished an more route should be created. |

joseph1832: Yes that's true. But still, I maintain that everyone in this motion picture is guilty and no one should be spared. We must remove sentiment whenever we are dealing with issues.
That is why i work hard so my children will never have to attend these ghetto schools where they hire touts to be teachers.
So you're saying this sort of thing only happen in public schools? Wow!
You might not know that most of these so called private schools hire people who aren't even skilled in educating a child, all they think about is money, that's why they make a mess of a kids life.
I'll have you know that teachers, don't just teach kids, they instill discipline, guide, tutor and mentor kids, teachers act as in loco parentis to kids, so that the kids, will be not just good to their families, but to the society at large, because a damaged kid is not only a danger to himself/herself, but to the society at large.
You have no idea the amount of bribes these private schools pay to ministry of education inspectors, just to stay in business. Some of them aren't even registered.
Once again, everybody is at fault here. The teachers went overboard, so did the head girl, and the girl that was slapped. The parents who even posted this news, failed to even tell us what their daughter did, that made the head girl slap her. They omitted a very vital information. I want to know what spurred those teachers to beat that girl like that. If you read my post, i didn't say it happens only in public schools or private schools. I said it only happens in ghetto schools.do you think this kinda rubbish would happen in top private schools located in VGC, Ikeja or Lekki, this wouldn't even happen. In summary, i work hard so my kids wouldn't go to kwashiorkor schools. |

joseph1832: I'll have you know if she was my daughter, she would never have returned that slap in the first place!. And I'll even ask her, what on earth could she have done or said that will warrant a head girl to slap her! If she was my daughter, this incident will not even have occurred! Parents should teach their kids proper conduct on how to approach issues.
The reason why Nigeria will not move forward will always be because Nigerians don't know how to act and behave in certain situations. We are always quick to action, and we always fail to even ask questions.
We should ask what that girl did that warrant the head girl to slap her in the first place. Its just that simple. We fail to notice both of them are females, and we know females are prone to emotions...
Which price? What will you do! If your daughter can raise her hand slap her senior prefect, then she can raise her hand and slap you her father, and it means you have failed as a parent!. I still maintain that regardless of what the girl does, no head prefect or whatever has the right to physically assault her. The duty of the prefect is to watch and report to teachers when fellow students become unruly or act in an unethical manner. The marks on her body is not discipline. Its an assault. That is why i work hard so my children will never have to attend these ghetto schools where they hire touts to be teachers. So, i can proudly say that none of my children will ever be in this type of situation but if per chance, they find themselves in a situation where they have to stand up and defend themselves, then i would give them a medal if they cave in the face of their tormentor and mop the floor with their blood. |

It simply means that his due would be given to him, no more no less. Also if they are to move on, he would simply be just a manager. I give up. Brigadier7: FOR HER To have returned a slap to her senior prefect shows how rude she is!!! She should even be expelled from the school!! Am against the Mal treated but this teachers you are talking about they are mothers and Parents too!! They cant just wake up one mrng and decide to descend on only her!! She must have been rude to them when she was invited to the staff room!! Op tell us the full story and stop being sentimental!! That's you people aid and abet bad children and when they get to the universities, they bcome secret cult members and runs girls and Problems to the society!! Shame on the NPF for wanting to arrest the management without proper investigation!! That what's how I read the other day how a secondary school cultist kiLled his Ex- Headmistress who is a grandmother in Benin, the headmistressed must have been dealing with him in school those days, now that he is a cultist, he decided to pay her back!! @Op your are biased in your account! OP I CHALLENGE YOU AND AM ASKING YOU TO QUESTION THE CHILD AGAIN TO TELL YOU WHAT SHE DID OR SAID TO THE TEACHERS THAT WARRANTED THE TREATED!!! If you decide to go to court remember they can still afford to get lawyers too. And there will be witnesses but student witnesses and Teacher witnesses that will come and testify THE TRUTH! So you better look before you leap!! I have seen a situation exactly like dis, the parent when to court and they ended up Apologizing to the school management and the Child was expelled too! should a senior prefect slap or assault a fellow student?when we see something that is wrong, we should condemn it. Even if that girl stole or did someone inane, should she be physically abused in this manner?? If she was your daughter, would you tolerate a teacher leaving these horrendous marks on her body?? Would you say the same thing if your daughter or sister or mother was stripped and whipped like a slave?? This is the reason Nigeria may never move forward. Our future generations are already taking classes on how to be power drunk. A little child is abusing the little position of a prefect. What would happen if s/he joins the military or becomes a "leader"? A prefect has no right to punish a student. The duty of a prefect is to report to the teachers what they see and hear. There is no justification for this nonsense and if this girl was my remotely related to me, i can grantee you that those teachers will pay full price. If i don't get the teachers, i will have my guys get their children. |

daretodiffer: I won't trust your judgement.
Jude is heir manager. As a manger you should know that he can be fired, dismissed, suspended and replaced. 40% is way too much for Jude alone. If Jude and Paul are used to conniving against their Peter, your suggestion would made it worse.
Tiwa savage and Teebliz cannot be blacklisted. Whatever Teebliz said was no secret. Peter knew beforehand and he did Peter a favour if he didn't know. It would have given him an insight to why grievances are taken for granted. Why don't you tell Peter to stay away from a brother that could badmouth him to a non-family member.
Peter cannot be allowed a manger that he would pay out of his pocket. If he does that, he will be earning less than his brothers. I don't think Peter will agree to that. Both of them should their manager' salaries paid from Psquare's account.
Their album should contain equal individual contributions that is equal number of songs. No individual credit please.
In emergency situations, if they cannot reach a unanimous decision. They should forgo it.
Whether proceeds should be shared equally or not should depend on their history.
However they could reach a balance by yielding some to Peter and others to Jude and Paul
You are not addressing the issues. You are just making them worse since you only built your point off my point, i felt there was no need to reply u so ima keep this short! 1 Jude is not a manager. Jude is a partner that doubles as a manager. Royalties are in his name, he co-owns publishing rights and catalogs, his creative inputs (video production and audio) was also used at a lot. Oya go an fire him now!! Na too much film dey worry u. You think "firing" is like you see in movies? |

From what i understand, Peter is not happy with the outcome of his effort. 1- He feels he is not getting the acknowledgement and recognition he deserves. 2- He feels his decision gets overlooked alot. 3- he feels he and paul should have different managers and be able to perform independently and earn independently 4- He wants a fiscal structure where the manager does not get an equal share.
These are some of the grievances i was able to pick up. Now, how do we address it?
1- There album should become 50percent peter and 50percent paul with no credit to individual works. 1b- Promotion of music should be 30 percent peter and 30 percent paul. Jude has the veto power over the remaining 40 percent. 2- Decision making should be on quota basis unless in an emergency situation. Jude should have the veto power of 40 percent of decisions, while peter and paul share 60% 3- Peter should be allowed to have his own manager which he will pay out of his own pocket. 3b- The company should hire a road manager which will handle all their tours professionally. 4- Well, this is family business and jude is not only a manager, he is also a partner with creative inputs, licensing and publishing rights. i feel the sharing structure should remain perfectly equal except in cases where one of the twin brothers perform individually.
I have managed some some successful l brands in Nigeria and i have realized that sometimes, issues come up and if it is not addressed as soon as it arises, it leads to negative sentiments which will harm the business.
The issue with P-square has gone beyond professional inconveniences. There is a lot of negative personal sentiments and this has made the issue even more complicated. The professional work flow can be resolved but i am not sure about the personal life.
Finally, people like Teebillz and tiwa savage and their whole crew should be black-listed by the management of p-square |

AKAKAK: The Muhammadu Buhari administration, through the Bank of Industry, on Thursday formally launched a N10 billion Youths Entrepreneurship Support (YES) project to empower youth with loans to start businesses. Speaking at the launch of the project in Abuja, the Minister for Industry, Trade and Investment, Okechukwu Enelamah, said his ministry would partner all agencies of government to create new jobs. He said more than 40 per cent of Nigerian graduates had no jobs and that an average of eight million Nigerians entered the job market annually. The minister said that the ‘YES’ project of BoI was part of the Federal Government’s youth employment scheme, saying that about 36,000 jobs would be created annually through ‘YES’. He appealed to prospective beneficiaries to repay the loans for the success and sustenance of the project. Waheed Olagunju, the acting Managing Director of BoI, said that a participant under the scheme could access up to N10 million loan with single digit interest rate and repayable over three to five years. He said that an applicant must present NYSC or higher education certificate as collateral to qualify for the loan with two external guarantors. Mr. Olagunju said that the bank was partnering 11 consultants across the country for the first phase of the project. Afolabi Imokhuede, a Special Assistant to the Vice President, said job creation was at the heart of the current administration. He said that government intended to create 3.5 million jobs in the next three years, adding that the ‘YES’ project was one of the programmes. Mr. Imokhuede advised participants to take the ‘YES’ seriously as online courses were now popular means of job creation world wide. Nasir El-Rufai, the Governor ok Kaduna State, said that the state was partnering with BoI on job creation. He said that the state had been able to take controlling shares in Peugeot Automobile Nigeria with the assistance of BoI. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/200306-buhari-administration-launches-n10-billion-youth-entrepreneurial-project.html Higher education is anything above primary school. This program should be restricted to graduates of TETIARY INSTITUTIONS. Regardless of whether its B.sc, hnd, ond, or something related. I wonder who this project is really for........ |

this is impossible! An engineer from Harvard university to me that: For you to run a nuclear plant, you need to have an already stable power supply which would be used to power up the nuclear core. When the nuclear core has been powered up and running steadily, you can then re-channel its energy into the nation's transmission grid. Right now, Nigeria cannot safely maintain a nuclear power plant. |
