I don’t think he is consistent and reliable enough as a shot stopper and I voiced my concerns before he was bought.

If I wanted to give a critical analysis I would say his reflexes are not the best and his hand is not the strongest. I am also not sure of his aerial prowess.

He will perform better behind a settled defence but let’s not pretend like Onana has not had his shortcomings.
Those shortcomings still doesn't make him a wrong buy or the club got it wrong. You are isolating his current coach and environment.

Ronaldo performed badly under ETH, did the club get it wrong in signing him?

Is there any player under ETH giving us Elite performance?

It is really difficult to judge any player under ETH tactics..

Onana is still a good buy. He took some time to settle, and that's understandable considering he just came in and hasn't gotten a constant defensive partnership because of the injuries. ETH's weird tactics also exposed him to a lot of shots. Most goal keepers will struggle under these conditions.
100%. Put Onana in Man city and he would have been among the best keepers this season.

Hehehe. Reactionary forces want to rewrite history. cheesy

This is like Ole-In coming now to say we should not have sacked Ole because ETH is struggling.

Offloading DDG was not the problem, the choice of his successor was where the club got it wrong.
How please??

We started the first half brighter than we ended it.

As soon as we lost that structure and fluidity, we couldn’t keep the ball anymore. We lost it almost immediately we got it because some players were overambitious and took too much risk. Onana’s long kicks weren’t as accurate as they should be either.

Hope ETH corrects this anomaly in the second half.
You still dey support this man?

What's wrong with Amad's performances so far? Guy dropped a goal and an assist last match, scored the goal that propelled us to FA cup SF and has impressed in all the cameos he had.
Nothing is wrong with it, I am only saying I haven't seen any Elite performance from him yet.
If Man U fans (we), keep hyping average players, then we are not serious. undecided

ZeroHag has proven once again that he is not right man to fix damaged structure at United. Amad is far intelligent and better than Antony, hence question is; why did we waste €100 bucks on brazilian poco?! Maybe he is gonna come good under another Manager but so far so good - O ti bá jẹ́.

ZeroHag had opportunity to blend in youths and ease out tired legs but he fails woefully. He keeps adding academy players to the squad, yet would rather play AWB on the left or force Casemiro to play CB.

We thought he is gonna integrate academy players in the squad, build a new team and slowly start competing for trophies, but he forgoes his phylosophy, wastes resources on average products and ends up disappointing every single soul ever wanted him at the club.

He has 2 more matches to lead, then SJR should the needful.
lol...I don't understand the hype for Amad, in fact we should be worried.
Antony has been poor that is why he is playing...he is literally fighting for a starting position and this is what he is offering?!
If he finally gets the position and no more competition, will he get better?

When Garnacho and Mainoo started, the spark was there...they were competing with the senior players.

There is still room for growth, maybe he will prove me wrong. But I hope he doesn't become another Elanga.

Dem no born any of my pikin well make im no learn trading, na lie by thunder by force all my pikins go learn trading by force ooo wether dey like am or not 😁

If you really want to start making consistent money in trading, stop focusing on the money.
It's a paradox but this is the way.

In summary; whatever works for you, keep doing it. No need to fight over anyone's opinions.

Remember, if you've not done your weekly review, get on with it, then plan for the coming week;
- what did you do well this week and what will you do better next week?
- what actionable step have you put in place to make sure you do it?

Results are side effects. Focus on daily habits.

I agree that the team is bad, i said this when some fans here where blaming Ronaldo and later De Gea (players who actually gave their best for the team). But Onana has always been a terrible shot stopper, he will not give United the kind of performance De Gea gave to win us very difficult matches...
100%, but is it not better for everyone to see that neither Ronaldo, DDG and even Sancho is our problem? lol cheesy grin

Small but honest work

Withdraw and reinvest

*Motivational purposes only 🙏🙏🙏
Donvic4u, posting outcome goals, really doesn't help or motivates anyone, it only increases frustration and depression on the part of struggling traders...It makes you feel like you are the only one in the world too dump and stupid to figure out this business.
Meanwhile this business is extremely hard...maybe it was easy for you.
But instead, if you outline the process you went through to achieve the outcome goal (which required extreme work I imagine, or could be wrong), it's a better motivation for struggling traders.

Wishing you all the best. No pun intended.

Richard Arnord said the club burnt billions of pounds on signing player in the past, one would have thought he would do things differently but he also wasted money signing Ten bald over valued rubbish targets. Signing Mason Mount is enough to jail Ten Bald and every other person involved with transfers at United...
Meanwhile Treble, it is easier to point out where anyone doing the task is not performing....
Hypothetically, what do you think is wrong with the current Man U and how would you go about fixing it?

TrebleChamp:
Yes he was bad, his Inter Milan compilation was posted on Twitter before his United move was completed. He was making same silly errors he has made at United, i am guessing Ten Bald ignored his error prone part because of his ball playing ability.
Treble, Onana was among the best Goalkeepers in last year's Champion's league.
Any Goalkeeper's bad performance can be compiled. undecided

- Whichever goalkeeper/player that comes to this current Man U, will highly under perform.
- Any Man U fan blaming Onana for Man U's woes is missing the point. I was also saying the same thing when DDG was here.
No individual player is Man U's problem. I believe Man U is having a system/ideology problem.
Whichever system the powers that be are working with is wrong, that needs to be addressed from the root. Changing coaches and players won't solve that.

Like I will always say, I could be wrong, I accept that.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by main24(m): 2:48pm On Jan 20, 2024
Was Onana this bad before coming to Man U?
- Criticizing him while isolating his current environment or change of environment is really interesting...
Assuming he joined Man city, he would be another beast now. And then Man U fans will all lament why Man U didn't buy him.
See Sancho, Bellingham and Haaland for case study.

- Is there any player at Man U playing at his best?

Every man is a product of his environment.
BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts / Discussions: Season 24 by main24(m): 6:36pm On Jan 17, 2024
90% of traders do NOT have an Edge.

- Having an Edge means you also know your maximum consecutive losses expected with your strategy.

With a 50% win rate, (1:2 RR), you max consecutive loss is 8 losses in a row!. You only have the right to panic when you start going over 8 consecutive losses.

This business is all about numbers; your winrate, RR, Average number of trades per day/week, Max consecutives losses, etc
If you don't know your numbers, you can't behave right when trading.

If you can't behave right when trading, you will never be a consistent profitable trader.

- Take your sleep serious.
Having a poor night sleep will affect your trading performance.
Minimum of 6 hours required, and avoid too much prep before active trading session.
You want to be sharp and focused during active trading sessions.

Good Morning y'all,
How many trades do you backtest before you are confident in a strategy.
I am specifically interested in scalpers but i can take answers from other types of traders.
300 trades for a start (Intra-day), a scalper should have more.
Stage 1: Get Data for;

- Average number of trades per day
- Average number of trades per week
- Win rate
- Best RR
- Max consecutive loss to expect,
etc

My peeps, I just wanted to share my progress so far and ask for your opinions on how I can get even better. It has been over a month since I started learning forex (early December last year). I learned using resources from youtube, nairaland, baby pip's free online courses etc. I began trading with a $10,000 CMC Markets demo account (literally blindly without any specific strategy, how foolish), and I continuously saw a drawdown of that account to about $5,500. I had to suspend trading for some time to go back to the drawing board, seriously learn, and adopt a trading technique. I decided to try out my first FTMO free trial (demo), that account sef no last, e blow as there was inconsistency with my lot sizing and risk management. After realizing these gaps, and learning from the mistakes, I choose to sign up for a second 15k FTMO free trial. As shown in the screenshot, I had my first and only profit week this week after about 6 weeks of trading (still demo o). This thing is not easy at all but I keep moving regardless. You will notice that I went from a $400 deficit (start of this week) to a $258 profit (end of week). Still a long way to go as I haven’t met the profit target yet. Any helpful feedback will be appreciated.

Right now, I trade using technical analysis, but I want to eventually incorporate fundamentals as well. Mutumina @davigle, based on your posts, it appears that you are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to fundamental analysis. I was wondering if you could help shed light on some basic information for a layman like me on events such as NFP, CPI, etc. I came across a post here (with a lot of grammar) wey someone mentioned BISI too, lol. What are they? How do they influence trading? And when to look out for them? What are the actions to take during these news/events? I wanted to get in touch with you directly, but I decided to put it out here so other rookies can benefit from the information you share. I appreciate your support and prompt response to my messages offline. Thanks!
Dude, just get a mentor and then with extreme hard work, dedicate few years of your life.

Getting the right mentor for you, that is the story for another day. But stop trying to figure it out alone, that road is so depressing.

Easily. I really don't get why he couldn't be bothered to put in the effort here.
That would take a miracle for Sancho to do that.
How you do anything is how you do everything.

While Cr7 was struggling here, we could all see that he is doing his best at that moment but it wasn't working for him. His performance today is no miracle...
We are not seeing Sancho even try. It will take a lot of improvement from him to start delivering again.
