I get many strategies o, since them say market get many behaviours, I get am plenty strategies. But the one I dey use most of the time have BB and MAs smeared all over it (Brightfuture48 go know wetin I dey yarn here, cos na him hand I first see am before I go dig more about it). Anyways, to make this work, I guess any one interested would need to spell their stratege out, first, right?

I no fit vex. I know I'd pass it sha... I've come to far to allow it shake me to my core. I'd just adapt. One thing many people dont talk about because it's frowned upon is "gut feeling."


But technically it's not gut feeling because it's accumulated from patterns you've seen form over years of looking at the chart. Your confluences may be screaming at you to enter a trade, but your instinct just say to hold on an you wonder why. You just need to be careful so you realize when it's fear of losing that's keeping you out of the market.

Imagine passing infofirst's challenge and getting live funded with FTMO. Make 5% of a 10k account. That's roughly 500k for a student like me who's been surviving on about 30k monthly.

It's one of the remnants of when I used to combine price action and indicators to trade. I removed it once but I couldn't tolerate how my chart became so large. I jejely put am back because I wasn't used to seeing the chary like that.

It's basically the same reason why I do my analysis on MT4. I'm not comfortable using MT5.

nice one. I sha took time trade, I was supposed to add that particular one, completely forgot or will I say I was lackadaisical about it. I am making progress cos I am learning a concept on my own,and I am becoming better at identifying the concept in its different forms.

Seeing the move before it happens even if I didn't trade it, is progress for.me. the trade I didn't take was also on competition demo if I had taken the trade wud hv boosted my ranking on the competition.

Backtesting is to test the profitability of a strategy, the frequency of trade, period of trade, expected ROI, refining TP/SL, confidence of trade, experience of trade, shorten learning time on trade, expected and accepting trade loss.

Even after all of this
You would still trade like a c*nt.
it's on FT were you train discipline, you don't learn that in BT,
You also train patience on FT, and increase trade confidence.

I can simulate 3 years worth of data on BT in a week,
If you do that in FT, you won't even do 3 months on FT before throwing away the strategy.

Anyways, do what works best for you.

Nearly missed this. I just spotted it this morning and I got in. Thankfully price hasn't moved far away from my optimal entry area.

Funny enough, after backtesting for about two weeks I realized that your strategy only fully forms when forward testing. I've told my friends that you don't need to create a strategy before you start trading. Instead choose one out of the myriad of strategies out there, trade demo with it, notice it's limitations, tweak it (with respect to risk to reward ratio, frequency of trades, number of pairs, timeframe.e.t.c...) until it becomes what you want, repeat over and over again.


But then again😁 they haven't said it but I know they're waiting for me o become profitable first then I show them the way. 🤣 Honestly I can't blame them, but I've also told them that when I start making money from forex, I no go teach anything again.

You have to graduate from being afraid of losses to being angry with losses, to being mentally defeated by losses, you will surrender to losses and then finally you will learn that losses is the key to profitability.

How do I know ? Because the only 100% gaurantee I can give you in this business is that you will lose
