We can’t sign Pep because he won’t come here. Look at the clean and smart way he has planned his career. He goes to well run organisations with a very good structure in place.

We also have to remember that the good football Assanal is playing now took a couple of seasons to implement. There are serious reasons to criticise ETH but I honestly don’t think changing manager yet again will lead to any long term benefits.

Management is the heart of any organization including sports.

The coach is just a very small part of the Management. Man U is trying to build a style of play from the coach, that is a tedious way of doing it.
Yet they keep changing coach every time.
The proper way is to figure out what you want, hire a coach and players that fits into that ideology.

If the management is clueless, then stop sacking your coach every year. Give one time to build the structure.

Watch City in Pep's first season or Liverpool in Klopp's first season. One thing is common, although the personnel was not good enough still you could see what they were trying to achieve.

Liverpool struggled last season, ETH did better than Klopp in terms of result last season even with everything Klopp has been building.

I was probably going to complain here about Rashford after the match till I saw people taking it to the extreme as usual. It was the same with Bruno last year. It's even exactly the same thing.

There are so many players I want to rant about but after reading a few posts, I turn to a defender. Sometimes I want to point out some things Ten Hag's getting totally wrong, but I can't cuz all I'll be doing is boosting the agendas of the reactionary ones that want him out. They have not really been bad. Its the midfield that has been bad. No matter how good a defense is, if there is a poor midfield in front of the defense. it will leak goals. And the funny thing is when they leak goals, the next move will be to change the defense while the midfield remains the same. But give it some time, the new defense will start to leak goals too.

Hopefully when we get Amrabat, Kobe and Mount back, our midfield won't be express anymore

Actually this was how he played last season too. We thought it was because of Weghorst that our attack was poor. We have "better" striker now, and no chance was created for him through out the time he was on the pitch.

Exactly. We are only complaining now because he is not scoring yet. When he starts scoring we will forget again that Rashford will not pass to save his life.

Sancho has been tried many times. He is not a new signing.

Rashford has been tried and trusted in a counter football where he plays on the shoulder of the last defender. But the mandate for ETH is to build a team while improving the quality of our football. This is not some quick fix something. Its a gradual process. This is the second season, how far have we gone with this? But if I'm wrong and ETH just wants to win something anyhow anyhow, then while he may win something, he will end up sacked and the next coach will start from zero.

You know most fans just wants ETH to win something as fast as possible, with any means necessary.
This is the same Man U of last season. Nothing has changed.
Whenever Rashford's scoring period comes again and we start winning games, most fans will forget it is just individual brilliance pushing us.

DDG is gone now, so no individual saves to give us clean sheets.
Martinez and the defence department has been bad, so Onana is in for it.

All hell broke loose because it wasn't about the performance but power play. He wanted to be the biggest person in the room and that's fine. If it was about performance, Rashford would have been benched by now.

Personally, I’m starting to think that Rashford instructed to conserve his energy and be our main outlet for goals. That’s why he rarely pressed or defended and had the most chances for United.

Rashford had like six shots or eight versus Brighton and Hojlund had zero. Zilch. Odo. He didn’t get any service, or any that he connected with. The only one he connected with turned into a goal, but Rashford delayed the pass too long and it was out of play. It was even as a last resort because he’d played his normal rubbish.

I think ETH has to put Rashford in his place. He should stop pressuring himself to score. Everyone must work hard, create chances for others, and score goals when in the right positions.

The Rashford favoritism should end. “Gernacho” has better decision making most times. If Rashford is off ona particular day, Genarcho should come in and create chances, etc.

Onana is a good signing, I think that De gea performance in the final and the agenda from the media and old skool boys association made it seem like it was no.1 priority, when It clearly wasn't.

Seeing as our budget's quite limited, we could have still let De gea go and replace him with Henderson since na counter attacking team we wan turn to so. and then add the Onana money with Hojlund money to get Kane.

Getting Kane is/might be a temporary fix, that is, if it even works.
Our Midfield is still sh1t. Wingers can't get ball into the opponents box as well...
I don't think any prolific striker can do wonders without getting the ball.

One step at a time. If ETH can focus on improving the midfield that will be a good start.
If that Midfield is not fixed, Rashford might pick form and start scoring goals...and we will forget we still have a midfield problem to solve.
