Although I was born a Muslim. I have come to realise that Islam contains universal truth.

1. All civilization/nation received a messenger from Allah.
2. Although modes of worship differ, the belief is still in one true deity.
3. Islam did not come to counter previous faiths (not restrictive to Abrahamic faiths) but to confirm them
4. Thus those who belive in their previous religion and adopt Islam are assured of double reward (not even Muslims are given double reward)

These are the recurring themes I find in the quran which confirms my belief in islam

There's something that does not add up about the story.

1. Why would he kill himself after killing his victims and not run for safety after killing eye witnesses

2. If the criminal killed himself why would igbos kill innocent Northerners except for other ulterior motives

The security situation in the north got so bad even as far down as kaduna we slept with our eyes open, after hearing news of how the insurgents over ran towns like bama, mubi etc. It was only a matter of time before they got to the northwest. In fact we had to instruct our families to be perpetually moving around with abulution (Islamic ritual purification) in market and public places in case they are caught up in a suicide attack.
