Programming › Re: Are Men Better Programmers Than Women? by Maj196(m): 10:44pm On Apr 30, 2021
Karleb:
No. It's because coding is hard and most women don't want anything hard. I'm not gender shaming here.

Most women would even settle for front-end or UI/UX. You'd hardly see them doing Backend or Devops.

But then, there are women who know there onions doing the baddest things you can think of in programming.

I learnt Vuejs and Git from Gwen Faraday, you can check her out on YouTube. To me, she's the best Vuejs tutor out there. She's also very attractive. grin

There's also this lady that build games with Javascript to name a few.
Hardness == Boring

The first programmer was a woman (Ada). But generally I think men are better in it cuz most girls find it boring to code.

That's a statement of a lazy person..
Having one business doesn't mean one shouldn't go into another business.
Think..
If you have one stream of income, you are one step away from poverty.
But wait,are you me?..cuz I don't get.
I learnt what I feel would be very useful to me,and I am glad they are useful to me.
So?
Make use of your time well, you guys won't hear..now,you are surprised someone learnt all this..
IQ are different anyway, can't blame you..
"Just pick one,and focus on it",keep that to yourself sir..
Well, in that case you might not go far. Listen, I don't care about your IQ whatsoever because that has nothing do with anything. But moving from one skill to another without focusing on one at the end of the day you might know nothing. Learning programming alone takes years of practice before being an expert and you must keep learning. So may I ask you. Can you build a scalable web application or a mobile app? Tell me how and what language you will use to achieve this. Then I might just believe your assertions. Waiting for your reply...

Plus many never reach that point of entry level. Give ten guys laptops today and money for data to go and learn coding. In a year time, only one might have made it. Most times none will even make it. That it's hot and everyone is running into it doesn't mean that everyone has the endurance to reach the end.
Exactly!
Programming › Re: Programming Is just Like Playing Football by Maj196(m): 12:49pm On Apr 23, 2021
People saying it's overpopulated. I just laugh. Yes it's populated with mediocres and not true experts. If everyone is learning how to program doesn't mean they actually know what they are doing.
