It depends on the gravity of the attack. In case a man is attack by a female, the best thing to do is access the situation and see whether she possess a real thread to his life. If he believes she's not a thread, he can just walk away. But if she's a real thread, then he may have no choice but to defend himself. However, the best form of defense is to stay away from the crime location. This applies for both men and women.

The young girl is named Abby and she's adorably calling herself a superhero for saving the day and recovering her family's belongings, which include an iPod and a Wii game console. The brave little one made police start to consider her caregiver as a suspect after their stories of the robbery didn't match up. The babysitter claimed that a pair of armed black men broke into the house whereas Abby said that they were white.

Authorities took in a neighbor for questioning who fit the sitter's description of the suspects, but they eventually discovered that the perpetrators were actually the babysitter's boyfriend and an accomplice after young Abby corrected her caregiver's story which caused her to confess. The two men — both white — were tracked down at a nearby motel, and a list of what the babysitter had wanted stolen was also found.

It's nothing short of incredible that a 4-year-old had the confidence to speak up against an authority figure (the babysitter), and it saved her family a great deal of anguish, not to mention the potential danger of employing such an irresponsible woman (in hindsight) to look after their child.

I've been in plenty of situations where children speak their mind to everyone's shared embarrassment ("Mommy, why does that man have no hair on his head?" But this is a good reminder that lying is the greater offense and that we should encourage little ones to share the truth...in most cases, right?
