I don't think she'll go to this extent if it's strictly on academic level. Tough lecturers make students sit up and don't victimize. It's a tough case and we hope she's not making things up.

1) Nobody saw him trekking along all other states other than Lagos, Ekiti and Niger states.

5) He never lost his way. How come he knows the route so perfectly.
6) It's simply not possible to cover that distance in 19 days except you trekk non-stop which no human can do.
7) Where was he when it rained? where did he sleep when it was dark? What did he eat when hungry? How did he survive the dangerous lonely nights?

You guys are always talking about what ''a friend'' told you and not what you saw yourself. I served in the north and the standard of education there is the lowest of the low. Even after forcing you as a corper to set exam questions that are way below standard just to ensure that the students pass, they still come back to beg you to pass all of them during marking. There is nothing like repetition of classes in the north, everyone is promoted to the next level irrespective of performance. Which students make up the northern universities? Are they not the same students that could barely read and understand their questions let alone understand it in secondary school? Youth corpers are made to solve WAEC questions for them on the board and anyone who dares to report is threatened with death. I remember the case of one Youth corper that alost got all his colleagues in one northern village killed because he exposed the WAEC malpractise going on in that village online.
The north is far far behind in education.

Maybe you're talking of northern Biafra, and not northern Nigeria. Examinations are still serious affairs here. Ask anyone of your guys who's studying in a northern univetsity what obtains here if you don't know. All of us haven't seen or heard of fake degrees and three or more people sharing one degree but from your areas. Northerners are almost uninformed about these atrocities until they cross over to your sides.

True. A friend who did NYSC in the East way back told me exam halls were like market places there. Invigilators were said to be there not to invigilate but to help. It is my prayer that the next government introduce stringent measures to jail these fraudulent acts.

The NUC Secretary explains that it is strictly merit based.

Does this not show that those states fell short in terms of producing quality candidates?

Kindly say if this is a transparent exercise:
1. The board cannot produce advertisement for the program.
2. They refuse to provide list of all applicants.
3. The list of board members that selected the beneficiaries cannot be provided.
4. No evidence of where the board members sat to deliberate on proceedings.

You derailed it. It was opened to look at peculiar Nigerian problem, the types that call for arrangements that would give each constituent a sense of belonging. As for others living in your areas, there are thousands of you living in other parts to one in your area. Why? If you want to be hawkish and insensitive you'll be given in the same measure.

You started the complex of being better than the northerners and I objectively told you everybody wants to be himself. People don't run away from economically viable environments to poverty-stricken areas. The barren, erosion-ravaged land that you yourself are running away from to the North and West is the least place to be proud of.
