OgwuEgo: I typed a response but a call made me not post it, the Fulani group has a standing militia that does the job of killing, it is sanctioned from the highest levels and the military aid or ignore them most time, their elites fund them and they have the intention of taking lands by force, we all thought it was alarmist but now its playing out. Come on bro It's now becoming a phobia, a psychological problem. Fulani standing army? How? Where? When? |

Rissamenti: See this tribalist.
You've remembered white man today as your excuse to hate your fellow black Africans.
If you wish to go down that route of history, are you aware that before the whites came, there was NOTHING like an ''Igbo man'', a ''Yoruba man'', a ''Hausa man'' etc etc?
It was the colonialists that built those language-based ethnicities.
Or rather, decreed them into existence.
Before they came, an Ijebu man was an Ijebu man who just happened to speak Yoruba. He was not a 'Yoruba man'. He felt no kinship or affinity with a man from Oshogbo, simply because they both spoke the same language..
Ethnicity was determined by ancestry, not language spoken.
It was the colonialists who created these large ethnic blocs based on language, by fiat in order to prevent the unity of the Africans by creating ethnic divisions, ethnic rivalry, and disunity. The phenomenon of tribalism is a colonial construct.
So retreating to a tribal ''Igbo republic'' is retreating into a BRITISH contraption, known as the ''Igbo tribe'' - a non-existent classification prior to colonial rule.
The Igbos NEVER had any united empire or kingdom before the colonialists came. They never saw Igbo speakers as ''one people''. An Aro man saw himself as an Aro man. Finish. One village saw the next as a different country. They went to war against each other periodically, with casualties.
So which Igbo people are you talking about?
There was no such thing.
The advantage of retaining NIGERIA is its sheer size and wealth.
In today's world market size is everything.
That is why we can have an Innoson, an Air Peace, a Dangote Group, an Ibeto Cement Group. A Zenith Bank. A Glo Corporation.
These HUGE ENTITIES that will lead tomorrow's industrial world, could not have been formed in little countries like Togo and Liberia, Biafra, Gambia, Burkina Faso and Oduduwa Republic etc.
It was the NIGERIAN MARKET of 210 million, that helped build them up.
Nigeria's market size basically GUARANTEES that the nation will be a magnet of investment in coming years, and will become fully developed in the near future.
There is no other way but UP.
If we splinter into little tribal states, we lose the ability to attract the type of dramatic investment levels I'm talking about.
Just look around at the other West African states around you.
They are relatively small and ethnically homogeneous.
Which one of them is El Dorado?
NONE.
Why?
Not because they are not as 'smart' and 'brilliant' as Igbos claim they are, but because of specific market and geo-political factors which would also affect YOUR new republics.
So instead of living in CLOUD CUCKOO LAND of imagining that your new republics will be the new Singapore, Dubai etc, GET REAL, APPRECIATE WHAT YOU HAVE AS NIGERIA, AFRICA'S BIGGEST ECONOMY, learn to live with each other by hook or by crook till you finally get it right, and become the shining light and superpower of AfrIca you are destined to be. Teach bro, teach Thank God you valued your freedom. What you have is true education. You surely know what they're doing when certain dimwits like Kanu, FFK or Omokri come to play on them not you. The ignoramus will never engage you again, cos you have nothing in common. You are a free man. |

I understand your view, it all boils down to politics and both the north and south practice a very destructive form of politics of pepper eye. The only way out is a reconciliation conference were both the north and south table their grievances and possible solutions will be sorted out. We should copy a clue from Rwanda and find out how they settled the hatred there. If government don't address the perceived grievances, the crises will linger on. As for the Igbo man, he's not really happy that successive governments have been denying the east of good development stuffs. Due to their self made success, they don't answer to anyone which others might term arrogance. Buhari needs to calm down, he has achieved all the good things of this life and it won't cause him anything to just be accommodating. Let's hope for a better nation, but if we can't resolve our differences its better everyone go their separate way and manage themselves as they are. Peace. This is so good but it's difficult. Even if people are to sit down and iron things out people like Kanu will never agree, when he feels that Biafra's realization will possibly make him the president. |

Biafra encompasses only 5 FAKE-created states. We know our boundary, who are you to tell us Biafra's boundary? Look at a migrant all the way from futa jalon coming down to our land to create a boundary for us. Is that not madness if we accept such idiocy? Who are you? God? You illiterates must be thinking highly of yourselves. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu mentioned Biafrans inside Kogi and Benue states and not the whole of Benue and Kogi states, you lying fool. Miyetti is just an organization just like Ohanexe, Area Consultative Forum or Afenifere They can't claim responsibility for any attack but then protect or adjudicate for their members - but not criminally. Politics › Re: Buhari Falls Into Nnamdi Kanu's Trap. by MalcoImX: 4:03pm On Jun 05, 2021 |
Millimann: I get your point bro. I do not support any form of terrorism from any quarter. I just wish the security agents would always act by the rules of engagement.
Just like your experience in the North, I've seen innocent youths harrassed and arrested for what they know nothing about. Many have been killed unjustly and labelled ESN or UGM. Look at the case of that young engineer that came to Owerri for a function who was arrested and paraded as an unknown gunman. If not for the public outcry initiated by his family, maybe he would have been dead by now. There are many others that are not as lucky as he is.
Please let's all encourage the security agents to act responsibly without bias. It happens. The best solutions, to God, is never to involve the military at all. They don't discriminate. Don't allow anybody do something that'd warrant army's involvement there This is a challenge: Ask anybody from Borno or Yobe and he has known at least one person who has died from the BH problem in those areas . It's not an experience to wish even to one's worst enemy . You people will say we're not Igbo, but we don't honestly know what Kanu wants. Sometimes all these abuses you see us doing is just to respond. You don't sit down and allow somebody calling where you were born a zoo, or northeners and their leaders cows, goats, illiterate, imbeciles, etc. and not respond as Kanu is always doing. |

What we know in the North is farmer-herder crisis and judicial processes apply. |

We should arrest the one that stood for Maina as well and several others. If you are down we are down All talks aside, one thing you should give to Buhari us his non-interference in the judicial process. As for me, Maina and his guarantor, Kanu and his guarantor and many others should receive hundred stripes if koboko, long jail terms or even death. Buhari's old age is working against Nigeria. Assuming he flouted the bail conditions, who asked the soldiers to go after him?
Your answers will show if this is a banana republic. Bro, I've lived in Borno state and have seen how civilians suffer because of idiots called terrorists. It's only God that'd help you when you're near when soldiers hear a certain Shekau or Nnamdi is around some area. Don't play with fire Your people are lucky he was just raided, Borno and Yobe towns were blocked or closed for days to go after these miscreants. GSM services at a certain time were suspended for over a year in those states to curtail the activities of these terrorists And motorcycle ban, being the choice mode of transportation for the hoodlums, IS STILL IN PLACE in those states. mekaboy: I have never supported kanu. But they say, charity begins at home. This administration lacks the legitimacy to pursue such cases.
If they said that bokoharam members can rule this country someday, any terrorist can. You talk as if it's okay to be a Boko Haram member. In the North you are 100% dead if you are a BH member or identified to be harboring them. At a certain time in Maiduguri, the youths organize themselves and went on a house to house search for BH. Those who were lucky to have escaped death never set foot in the town since then. Is it like that with ESN and ipobians. |
