Politics › Re: Where Does Kwara Really Belong? by malton: 8:00pm On Aug 18, 2016*. Modified: 8:22pm On Aug 18, 2016 |
FriendChoice: You have to remove the word hatred from your dictionary for the sake of humanity, I guess you have been misinformed by media of what exactly the north is. Don't allow differences in region or Tribe to make you a fool.
Kwara belongs to the north and that cannot be changed, nobody will migrate to any part even if Nigeria is to divide. I guess you hate being referred to as northerner bcux of how people who hav never been to the north speak about it, calling useless names like Ab0ki na cow, they are illiterate, they are all almajiris etc.
Going by history Central northern part of Nigeria have once tried to be more associated to the southwestern during Obasanjo regime, but it doesn't go well.
The UN certified former terrorist group "OPC " launched attacks on northerners living in Southwest Nigeria. People of Northcentral Nigeria (Kwara) are also attacked despite their uniformity in tribe. The southwest people says, northerner is a northerner weda 4rm kwara or not. This is one of the major reason the North central feels more comfortably referred to as north.
One of my major example is you. You are a northerner born in southwest being discriminated by southwesterners, then you decide to hate the north. After hating the north, they will still call you a northerner. double wahala 4 u.
My Final message to you and any1 reading.
Human beings are equal before our creator, the best among you is who fears him most. There should be no discrimination on tribes, races, regional and in whatever capacity. We should learn traditional, norms and culture of various societies.
It does not matter your tribe, region or ethnicity. God made it the way he want. Who are u to question God?
Its only through education that we can transform the society and gain an insight into lifestyle of others and thereby help us appreciate diversity and learn to live in peace and harmony with one another. Wow. That's really deep. It's been a while since I saw such an exhaustive piece on here. May you never run dry! That could have been me. Although, I don't know a lot about the OPC side as well as other stories, I do like your philosophical perspective. |

Thief na thief. Simple. All these shiit boils down to the fact that those people have the innate desire for crime. Just like money, hard times magnify who we truly are. They may have been pilfering since long, but because there was plenty then, the acts were negligible. A lot of innovative people are thriving. All these ones who want everything placed on their laps resort to crime because their benefactors no longer see awuf. How a grown man will sit and expect everything to be handed to him on a platter is dumbfounding. You get strength to go steal but you no get strength to go work gainful jobs. A majority of our youth have a lazy mentality, no thanks to the oldies who destroyed everything. But trying to blame this squarely on the government is nonsense. During my undergrad, I used to label my lecturer, Dr. Ishaya, as an agent of doom, because he told us the truth to the face. "Times are hard, brace up or your faces will flatten out like slippers," he'd say. "the government ordinarily exists to create an enabling environment. Don't sit back and expect them to offer you jobs." At the tail end of it all, it now looks like I owe him a great deal for shaping my perspective. Those words have been my guiding principle and have been proven true time and again. |

mrvitalis: Nigerians are just hypocritical in nature... The news of how Buhari is looking for oil in the North is everywhere but they won't tell u that he is also looking to expand our maritime borders by over 60% to accommodate more oil blocks
There is the link https://www.today.ng/news/national/34202/ buhari-approves-expansion-of-maritime-boundaries These bitter kids are always only fixated on those narratives that drive home their hatred. Best watch them. How "learned" people have succeeded only in raising detractors and dumbos as kids still amazes me. |

djkirkoo2: Please is there any Anambra in Nigeria? Which Anambra is BMB talking about? Anambra state that can't even pay corpers common #8,300 alawee and yet the corpers are the ones doing the whole Jobs in the state. Go to all the government schools and offices you will see a government school with 30 - 40 corpers and even more than that figure in some schools, yet Willie can't pay them, this is the 8th month now without state alawee. A state without much workers, even their private schools are filled up with corpers, all they want is cheap labour, I don't think any government office or schools have up to 15 permanent staff. My people abeg Willie is not working, OK? Don't be deceived You ripped the words right out of my fingers. I was wondering if he was advising the fg to come and perfect propaganda. A lot of people do not seem to realize that Anambra isn't owing because there are barely any workers to owe. This Ben Bruce is terribly ignorant. He just harps on a social media trend and state it as a fact. |

Iamfrank: Before u start being tribalistic here, you shud try cum to sapele delta state n experience d time of rain dat falls here daily.. . You see, you should have read my comment carefully. I did acknowledge that some parts of the South are like that. I only cautioned his generalization. Because I've been in Awka for a year now and rain doesn't fall as often as he made it sound. Someone even mentioned me claiming that rain falls everyday in Awka. What a blatant lie. If just half the rain that falls in my place falls here, especially in August, I am sure the whole of Awka would have been overran by now. Since the beginning of August, rain only fell in Awka this past Friday. Yet someone is saying that it does everyday. Lol. |

What if the kind of rain that falls daily in the South falls there? Some parts of the South you mean? I have been in Anambra for a year now, ain't seen no rain. Shut the hype. If you ain't got nothing to say, just shift. Everything isn't a North-South contest. |

This is out of the ordinary, so unusual. Someone must be sitting at a corner from where they are orchestrating all of these heartbreaking events. The first week of August, 2016 should already be declared as wailers' disappointment week. From the appointments to the Jonathans, the Aishas, now Obasanjo. Haba, does the person wants to see to their end all in one week? Bikonu, have mercy please. This one that they have all gone mute for almost a week now, hope say Nigeria never commit genocide? Because for the first time in a long long while, I have been able to read from the first to the last comment on threads without a single comment from them. Rest in peace, wailers, we hated your stupidity but the puppeteer hates you most! |

Abeymills: Nigerians especially zombies should b ready 4more of dis dividend of buharicracy This isn't even a political issue. Shiit precedes even the return of stable democracy to Nigeria. You need to learn when to talk and when to not. It's good to indulge your brain every once in a while. And when you have nothing meaningful to contribute, always remember that silence is gold. |
