amuokuko:Damn. Sorry about your dad. This just brought back some unpleasant memories. That cutlass thing is so rampant up north, no doubt. I recall back then in Samaru, Zaria, they tried to sever some guy's head in this same manner, luckily, he took the hit to the arm like your dad did and ran for his life afterwards. A friend of mine was walking down an alley, a very long one at that one night when he got caught midway. They asked him to bring out his phones and all he had in his pocket. After he did, they asked him to kneel down. Soon as he did, they raised a cutlass, but before they could strike, he quickly rose and ran back. They threw the cutlass at him but as God would have it, he had his laptop bag on. The laptop got damaged, but at least, it saved him. I lived in a serene neighborhood at the time, but usually pass that road every damn night. Sometimes even as late as 3 am. I knew God had me when I didn't encounter them even once till I left. But mehn, with guys this mean, we lived day by day. Lots of innocent people got clipped. They are that cruel. Rest in peace to the man. |
Congrats, boss. Lots of familiar faces there. It's been a minute. ![]() |
cent157:They can always regroup in some place. |
Rather than cure the ideology, you're closing down the medium which helps you see through. The building is never the issue; the ideology is. That should be your first point of attack. |
Idiots!!! Pukes! |
Well, intimidating you was never the intention; smoking you out completely is. You can make good your words by coming out in the open. That hide and seek game is so 80s. No nuisance shall be tolerated. Touts! |
sCun:First of all, I am not Yoruba. Not everyone who tells you the truth to the face is. You guys gotta learn to move with the times, especially your heads. Y'all be carrying that victim afflicted mentality everywhere like it's a trade. |
These clowns again. If only they are aware that they contribute big time to our current economic woes. I don't like to dabble into tribal affairs, but in truth, of what peculiar value is a man whose forte is: get forex and a Nigerian product, take it to China, fake it, import it back alongside other substandard as well as few tolerable products, sell it, and the circle continues... to Nigeria? For every Dangote or Adenuga striving to build Nigeria, there are countless Igbo men sabotaging it with no conscience at all. So unless they meant 70% economic saboteurs, their big fat mouth is lying, again! Abi importation business na rocket science ni? Economic ownership ko killership ni. ![]() |
dearpreye:It's not exactly your resource if you actually know what oil as well as other natural resources are. Looks like you're so much fixated on getting to control your suppose resource that you forgot to do an extensive research on what the part you're towing entails. The day you provide those forebears of yours who planted this resource or your investment claims is the day you will get the world to listen. You don't hold a nation to ransome on account of a natural resource. Shiiit can be likened to an attempt to take my business by virtue of it being sited in your domain. Yet you wonder why you aren't attracting any investments. As for development, talk to your governors. Maybe Delta explaining away over 320 billion naira debt with nothing to show for is a good start. |

“We are great because of our size, the human resources we have, the diversity we have. If we fragmentise the country into small components, we will be forgotten by the world. That has been my focal position" There is no doubting that this man possesses a high intellect. Hats off, sir. I have echoed the exact same sentiment more times than I can count. But a lot of people thought we are pro Nigeria cos we are scared of being alone. Now here's a man with nothing to lose but everything to gain from a separation (he could easily become the first president of the ND) hammering the same thought. Years back, I was reading a sermon somewhere where an American preacher says, "I have been to Benin Republic..., but I can tell that a lot of you do not know Benin by the blank expression on y'all faces; it's in Africa, actually a neighboring country to Nigeria. Even my my little boy knows Nigeria." Those words gave me the chill. We will become great someday, and only then will we appreciate the numbers and diversity. Ask a knowledgeable American why they are great to this day, they will point to their population; Ask South Korea why they haven't been able to push their growth beyond the current levels despite the vast amount of resources and wealth, they'll tell you it's because they lack the population to help spur growth. France and Italy have become somewhat stunted lately owing to a dearth of youthful population requisite to push the countries' growth beyond the current levels. Germany is the live wire of the European economy today on account of her large population. Such examples are too numerous to mention all. We could achieve these and so much more if we get past this phase in our history. More than just that, Nigeria is the black man's last defense. A defeat for Nigeria will deal a blow to blacks worldwide. Forging a common front may seem difficult now, but all that's needed is one step in the right direction. It begins with a leader, a true leader who's willing to carry all of us along even if that's no mean feat to achieve. It's why the leader need be special anyways. Nigerians don't hate Nigeria; they just hate the sufferings that come with being Nigerian. Our leaders must realize this. |

Yoruba ti take over. Today is an appointment galore for the highly reverred tribe from West of the Niger. I like that things are being evened out. God guide the appointees aright! |

You should have remembered that while you were busy smearing their images during campaigns. Campaign of calumny does no good at all. Smart politicians know better than to cross a line. The other one in Delta... ![]() |
Na dem dey rule the thing o.. Na dem dem. From Onitsha to Indonesia right through Malaysia. The hustle is real. But, why always them? Abi dem relate with Balotelli? This is what happens when you teach your child the value of nothing asides money. The "make money at all cost" mentality is what is wrong here. Indeed, "hardwork" pays! |
Fedayeen02:Igbos and calling out of wrongdoers in the same sentence? You are a joke! We all know that you're celebrated in this part of Nigeria long as you bring the money home, legit or not. Nobody cares how clean your money is. This does not apply to a lot of good Igbo defenders of truth out there. But in truth, they are the exception rather than the rule as far as this place. I've seen it firsthand. Not hearsay or conjectures. |
stagger:This is a very careless statement coming from someone who should have known better. So callous! Regardless what you believe, those kids played no part in the unfortunate incident and their starving today will never make up for a wrong done decades ago. You lack sympathy just as you are arrogant. Two wrong traits for a human being. |
AntiIPOB:You're obviously either a kid or some religious extremist yourself. You singled out those places on religious grounds, not dislike for pmb as you made it seem. One strong thing those places and people have in common is a dislike for Islam. I won't sugarcoat it. And you hate them for it. For the good of your certificate and justification of your exposure, please learn to be tolerant. A lot of people have genuine reasons for criticizing people and they do so constructively. Get off that toga of hate; you could be somebody great. I just hope that you don't turn out the kind that preaches hate when you achieve it. |
Hedonistically:You don't because you always look in the wrong direction. The flashiest guys you see on the streets are the brokest of them all. The stinkingly rich aren't as loud with the money out there. So often, you will mistaken them for guys from humble backgrounds and won't pay them any attention. One problem though is, they mostly do family to family stuff. So it's kind of a close circle thing. |

cocoduck:And that is where the problem lies. The people are just so unwilling to hear it as it is. What good will deception do anybody? That's how they will cheer them on only to turn back and complain later that govt isn't working. |
rusher14:Forget media propaganda, the truthful Igbos on ground will tell it to your face that Obiano is more of a media governor than anything. Those of us who live here hear over the news just like you all do. There's nothing on ground that commensurates such wild claims. Those hatchet guys always always deliver. |
dokiOloye:Better shut your mouth! None of those states measures up to kaduna, let alone kano. I reside in Awka and visit Enugu as frequently as twice a week. I've been to a lot of states here in the south, especially the SE and SS. None, and I stress again, NONE of them is even fit to be mentioned in the same breath as Kaduna, much less Kano. Take your ignorance and shove it down your shameless lying throat! |

Mr. President president, we already know that this yarn is a gimmick aimed at allaying concerns about your discernible nonchalance. Nothing will be done afterwards. I've watched with dismay for so long how certain people have been made to believe that they could get away with almost anything. It's really a shame. This stupidity is in no way a religious issue. Major blame lies with those parents who have failed to teach their children any values at all. It's a fail on the part of a parent to not educate their wards on tolerance and societal expectations. Innocent kids have grown to become monsters on account of the parents actions and inactions. There are a lot more good Muslims in the north than there are bad eggs, but then, evil always shouts the loudest. You go to the Western part of the country and see good tolerant Muslims. The same can be said of Senegal. It's a shame how miscreants have taken centre stage. A lot of those mallams incite hatred for no just cause. They have marked Christianity the enemy and would have everyone believe the same. Hate will never achieve where even might failed. Never take away that which you didn't help create. Live and let's live. Life is simple. It's inexplicable how common sense eluded a lot of people. |
