PoliticsRe: Justice John Inyang Okoro, The Dark Hand That Killed Justice In Abia - Abiafact by malton:
Talk about the positive effects of the crackdown on Corrupt judges.

People now feel the need to expose them because chances are that something could be done about it. Unlike what was obtainable in the past.

Those people really had a field day.

99 days for a thief...

At least everyone will be forced to sit up.

He's too rude,Just because he's a musician doesnt add a +1 to his life....If he try am for naija e go meet Incredible Hulk for the first time in his life..He go get the beating of his life, especially for this recession period grin
He can't fit try that nonsense in naija sef. It's disrespectful not only to the individuals involved, but to Kenya as a country. He knows better than to try it here.

When you come to Nigeria, you get blown away; not embark on a breaking spree.

Tinubu should be about the most mentioned name Google can pick from last week till now.

Make unna allow these men rest.

This is politics. The supporters are always left disappointed, somehow. It's only a question of when.

Bad things happen to good people. Just live and learn. There are no permanent friends or foes in politics. Before you wake up disappointed one day.

Rivers State ke? You must have meant corruption.

Of course you are ready to defend corruption with your life because your life depends on it.

Talk about an exhibition that makes powerful people look silly.

A Governor should never have to act like a tout.

This clown again?

"Look child, don't be like Tanko Yakassai, he's no good at all!" That's the only thing this nincompoop is fit for. He's disturbing the cyber space with his nonsense.

Idiots leaving future generations with a lot of cleaning up to do. His mouth always runs a mile a minute while his brain plays catch up.

I don't care about what u think. @ malton. that is the fact
You do not have to care. Just don't be petty.

Presently, a few officer friends of mine are there in the middle of it all battling their asses off. They are all northerners. Personally, I lost an uncle of mine sometime around December, last year, to Boko Haram.

I know and have heard about officers of northern extraction killed in those battles.

Not everyone takes to publicity. That you don't read about them on nairaland does not mean that they don't happen.

Boko Haram is defeated, Maidugari is safe, please don't discredit the work of our president with this cock and bull story, tell us that another thing killed this fine gentle man but not Boko haram. R I p to the departed.
So you're more concerned about the reputation of your dear president than any truth there is to events.

Maiduguri and environs are safe to a certain degree, but there are ongoing battles in Sambisa and at the borders between Nigeria, Chad, and Cameroon.

The guy was actually killed at the border between Nigeria and Chad since last week, I think. My dad informed me about it since Saturday, exactly a week ago.

PoliticsRe: “You Can’t Summon Buhari Through Newspaper" - Presidency Tells National Assembly by malton: 6:46pm On Oct 07, 2016
bejeiodus:
Why don't you take some seconds to read the report? The urge to pour invectives on the President has taken away your patience to read. The President didn't say he won't show up at the National Assembly. He only said the National Assembly has not officially written to him to summon him. Please, always read before you rush to comment.
The irony of a guy that's referring to someone else as a dullard. Kids like that will sign away their rights all because they are too busy, anxious or plain ignorant.

You'll be surprised to find that he actually read but failed to understand what was said.
PoliticsRe: Oyegun Formally Replies Tinubu: "Your Allegations Are Reckless And False" by malton:
Dem say pesin wey dey sure of him victory no dey fear rematch. Pa Oyegun should have simply obliged as should have Akete.

Tinubu has earned his keep as the face of the ruling party. He has a cult following and considering the fact that politics is about the numbers, they should have reconducted the primaries even if to placate him.

BAT has my unalloyed support regardless what step he takes next. I believe that he's too blessed to cry over spilled milk. Grown men lick their wounds and move on to the next adventure.

Held down by guilt, shame and fear, his betrayers now have to look over their shoulders for the rest of their political careers.

It's a shame everything that's happening. Reminds me of the cold war that ensued that instant victory over Germany was achieved.

I THINK IS ALLOWED BUT YOU CAN'T APPLY FOR THE SAME POSITION TWICE. IT IS CLEARLY STATED ON THE SITE
Even if they applied the same position twice, a provision has been made that allows for deletion afterwards. Given system failures, connection issues, and the tendency for applications breaking midway, one can apply a second time while trying to reload the page without even knowing it.
PoliticsRe: John Paden's Book On President Muhammadu Buhari And His Dirty Little Lies - Ffk by malton:
Na today?

Biographers are known to greatly distort history and bring a beautiful relationship into disarray.

Buhari, on his part, hasn't done quite well up to this point. Why is he so bent on destroying everything that took years to build?

The worse disservice anyone could do to themselves is forget that power, much like everything else on God's earth, is transient.

People can be cold af.

PoliticsRe: Fayose: Humiliation Of Tinubu Is A Humiliation Of The Yoruba Race by malton:
One does not even have to be Yoruba to see how ungrateful the people behind that thin veil are.

I read in a Psychology text a while back that people become ungrateful because the part of their ego responsible for cognitive biases filters out the helpful events they have experienced.

It is the kind of attitude that makes those who are in a position to help reluctant to, regardless how much they are moved to.

Bad thing about these ingrates is that they often deny a lot more innocent people a chance at salvation.

The heart of man is indeed very wicked!

See them masturbating on this thread as though their bread just got served.

You insult them to their faces and still call for an alliance. Like, who swore at you?!
PoliticsRe: APC Feud: Tinubu, Yoruba And The Fulani North, By Irohin Oodua by malton:
This issue has been over flogged one time too many.

I for one, am very angry how things turned out. Tinubu deserves a lot more than he is getting. But it is becoming rather increasingly obvious that some invisible hands are now using the Tinubu angle, not out of love for the man or concern for the Yoruba nation. Instead, they are doing it with the sole intention of driving home their hate agenda.

Any discernible mind can see through this ruse. Their aim is to ride on Tinubu's back for a cause far more disastrous.

I am all for an impartial consideration of the interests of others. I'm a moralist to the core, and my POV goes beyond self-interest to a standpoint that takes everyone's interests into account, regardless of religious, cultural or social differences.

But, they will sort themselves out.

And they will be alright. We don't need constant reminding. Tinubu is a gladiator as is the Yoruba race an attractive, intelligent pacesetter. I'm sure they will pull through it alright.

I mean, Lagos-Ibadan expressway is still ongoing. The SW is still attracting investments and government projects. On top of that, it remains the fastest growing region in the country. What's more? Fashola, Osinbajo and Fayemi are still Yoruba to the core of it. Mistaking Tinubu's ordeal to mean a demise or relegation of the thriving Yoruba people is tantamount to making a mountain out of a mole hill.
PoliticsRe: 5 Lies Everyone Tells You About Northern Nigeria by malton:
GBTYO:
If you have never set your foot in the north then I suggest you don't post on this thread.

My job has taken me to 5 core northern states ; Sokoto, Kano, Katsina, Yobe and Jigawa. I have also been to fringe states like Bauchi, Gombe, Kaduna, Adamawa and Niger and I can tell you authoratively that the north is a sh1thole waiting to explode.

Fringe states like Bauchi, Kaduna, Minna and Gombe are highly volatile because of the sizeable indigenous Christian population.

The Christians live in absolute subjugation under the Hausa Fulani moslem ummah.

Education is totally haram except for the elite and children of civil servants.

Fridays are volatile where Christians keep their movements minimal or restricted from city centres and or into moslem dominated neighbourhoods.

You will stand out like a red neck lizard if you are dressed in kafuri attire.

Unlike in the south where your pocket determines where you can rent or build a house, the north is segregated along sectarian lines.

Vice such as drug abuse, alcoholism, adultery fornication , prostituti0n and sodomy are widespread and the level of hypocrisy stinks.

Widespread desperate poverty greets you everywhere you go from the highbrow residential areas to the walled off Kofar Dorbar districts.

Religion in the form of islam is more like a vice cult than a spiritual movement.

I always heave a heavy sigh when my assignments are through in the north.
Are you done driveling?

You sound like someone that's deprived of love and care. So bitter. Got jilted, maybe?

I can sense that that job of yours is a lying one.

Widespread desperate poverty even in highbrow areas? Yet it qualifies as an upscale area in your dictionary? You must be a lot more deficient than I first thought!

Kano, Kaduna, Sokoto, et al, poor? It's obvious you have malaria!

Better go walk your life's frustrations off. Don't even attempt to cover them with lies, bigotry and sheer hatred.

A lot of folks in Kano alone are so stinkingly rich they could buy your entire state if it's put up for sale!

You should thank your stars I'm not in the mood to get into diatribes right now!

Some people had to earn to cater to basic needs of life.

Computer skills should be the last thing on the mind of a man living from day to day.
