Christianity Etc › Re: Whom Exactly Was Cain Afraid Of? by malvisguy212: 8:55pm On Aug 02, 2016

Lolz..the only prob here is that you're trying to make sense for the person who wrote that Genesis(claiming it was moses)..More like u are afraid to question indiscrepancies and reason...coz it's the bible...??...bro, I'm a xtian too but a thinking one.

U said "This only make sense when his brothers and sister are upset that cain had kill their brother"...but what if the writer actually made unintended errors(as it semantically appears) that there are no brothers and sisters(as u tried to invent via provisional reason) involved anywhere..??
Calling a spade a spade aint that hard u knw...?
I actually love ur reasoning pattern..despite the fact that it refuses to satisfy the dying answers this topic TRUTHFULLY needs.
I av a more controversial thread to open tomoro, I'll mention u thr..

P.S: I don't argue to be right, but to learn and see angles to an issue I might av missed
I see, you don't understand my point. Who out their know what cain did ? And why will they kill him ? That is why I say the statement only make sense if cain had brothers and sisters. Saying cain and Abel were not the only sons of Adam is not my opinion, that's what the bible imply. If I call you the second son, does it mean you are the second born ?

You don't invent people who play no roles. Even if they would be invented, there shud be evidential trails on how they came to the picture. You mentioned some figures, strangely, no1(not even u) cud give a plausible explanation for where dey came from..rather, u gave hypothetical views to answer these questions on the probability of being descendants. This issues raises more curiosity.
U say Abel was the second son and not the. 2nd born, the bible dint state anywhere that it gave preference to the mention of Abel's name because it was a SON...nah..
The bible simply put that, Cain's brother was conceived, who apund to be Abel. Not "another SON was concieved".
Even in cain's case, it was the same. Kindly abate that perception which has to do with the Sex of the children being Male that Made the bible deem them worthy of mention.
The bible made it clear, if everything were to be written, the book cannot contain it. The old and new testament is All about the messiah, the genealogy of christ, abel was among the genealogy after he was kill, seth replace him. Now, go and read the story one more time, the bible did not call abel the second born, if you insist, provide evidence from the scripture ? The text say Abel was the second son, which mean there are children before Abel ( this is not my opinion, this is what the bible imply)

Let me ask you a question, why will cain make the statement "AND WHOEVER FINDS
ME WILL KILL ME "? This only make sense when his brothers and sister are upset that cain had kill their brother.
Christianity Etc › Re: Whom Exactly Was Cain Afraid Of? by malvisguy212: 4:27pm On Aug 02, 2016

According to Genesis 4:13-14, shortly after cain killed his
brother Abel, “Cain said to the LORD,

‘My punishment is
more than I can bear. Today you are driving me from the
land, and I will be hidden from your presence; I will be a
restless wanderer on the earth, AND WHOEVER FINDS ME WILL KILL ME’.

* Whom exactly was Cain afraid of?

The only people
the book of Genesis had mentioned to this point are Adam
and Eve (Cain’s parents) and Abel (who was now dead).

*Who
would possibly be a threat to Cain?
The bible did not say adam had only 2 children, cain was the first born but abel was NOT the second born , he was the second son, certainly their are children between cain and abel. Okay, after the death of abel , seth was born, seth was a replacement to Abel. So, who was Cain afraid of? Cain was afraid of his own brothers, sisters, nephews, and nieces, who were already born and would be capable of seeking revenge. The fact that Cain had a wife (Genesis 4:17) is a further evidence that Adam and Eve had other children after Cain and Abel, but before Seth.

Furthermore, what I believe is that the scriptural focus is clearly ONLY on the seeding of Christ and with mentions of others who may have play an important role, the rest is of no use, for example, who was methusalah wife ? The oldest man, surly we will like to know the age of his wife...who was the wife of cain ? All this people play NO role.

Also state the form he was when he said it is finished on the cross and when he resurrected.
The fact that christ was born at a particular point of time prove He was a human. But His origin is unknown, from ANCIENT OF DAY. This title is reserve ONLY For God, but jesus claim it also. If you want to know more about jesus, read colossian chapter one.

WHEN JESUS WAS ASKED ABOUT THE HOUR, HE SIMPLY REPLIED.....

MARK 13:32

New International Version
"But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

MATTHEW 24:36 (NIV)
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

I THINK GOD SHOULD KNOW EVERYTHING....
christ is a man, he ate, drink and feel pain like every human feel. Now, who incarnate in christ ? The father ? Holy spirit or The son ? It was the son who made his dwelling on christ the man, this mean jesus has two nature, fully God and fully man, this two nature are distinct from each other, there are thing christ the man did not known only God the son know.

In Philippines 2:7, where we find that Jesus "made Himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men."

it seems clear that Christ intentionally and temporarily laid aside certain elements of His power when He took on human form.

Furthermore in Colossians 2:3 Paul teaches us that in Christ are hidden "all the treasures of wisdom and KNOWLEDGE " If Christ now has
all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge,
there is no knowledge that He lacks.

The christian faith is not opposed to reason and knowledge because God invite us to reason together with Him.the fact that every human has freewill and God will not override our choice, mean everyone of us is responsible for our belief. You cannot force your self to believe in lies. innately you know it lie.

We say it anytime any name of the prophets is mentioned not just Rosul(SAW). We believe the prophets are best of people to ever walk this earth so we ask God to bless them. It doesn't mean they are not already at peace.

The Prophet ﷺ said, “He who sends blessings on me once, Allah sends blessings on him ten
times and removes from him ten sins and raises
him by ten degrees.”
(Nisaa'i)

Allah (exalted is He) says:
“Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the
Prophet, and His angels [ask him to do so]. O
you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer]
blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him]
peace.”
[Qur’an, 33: 56 ]
everything point to muhammed, NO one else. Why will a sinner be mediator between a HOLY God and man ? Definitely, the God in the bible hate sin, He will not allow such sinner meditate for peace, NEVER!!!

I thought you are interlingent? Read the op very well: There is a difference between a trial and a temptation, although both come from the same Greek word peirasmos. They are often used INTERCHANGEABLE though. After all, temptation is a trial (of faith), and every trial is a temptation (to
grumble). When the word appears in the New Testament the CONTEXT helps us to see which interpretation is meant.
The difference between trial and temptation is. temptation: "Do this
pleasant thing and do not let yourself be hindered by the fact that it is wrong," whereas trial says, "Do this good and
noble thing, and do not let yourself be hindered by the fact that it is painful".

It's to show respect. Muslims are supposed to
put (PBUH) or (SAW) after naming any and all
prophets of Allah(SWT)

PBUH is an acronym for "Peace be upon him";
likewise SAW is an acronym for sallallahu alayhi

why will you invoke peace on someone you claim is in heaven ? Heaven and earth, which is more peaceful ? Compare to what jesus say here:

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto

Also in the holy Quran, Praise be to Allah.
Allah has promised the believer who does righteous deeds reward in this world, as well as the greater reward which awaits him in the Hereafter.

Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Whoever works righteousness — whether male or female — while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter”
[al-Nahl 16:97]
Do you think you can bribe God with your good deed ? Listen!! Good work done by a sinful men can NEVER please a HOLY GOD, God must judge ALL sin, so don't deceive yourself.

If Good work done by sinful men will please God, then what the point of becoming a christian or muslim ? A pagan can do Good work, do you think God will reward him ? All what you wrote here are FALSE doctrine from the pit of hell.

Christianity Etc › MUT’A A Form Of Prostitution In The Quran. by malvisguy212(op): 9:25am On Jul 29, 2016
Allah provided a cover in the Qur’an for sex-on- demand. It is called “Temporary Marriage” or “Nikah Mut’a,” where a fixed-time arrangement and payment are both agreed upon in advance between the man and the woman. The “marriage” automatically dissolves once the duration expires. It is nothing but a form of PROSTITUTION legalized by Allah in the Qur’an.

Fixed-Term Marriage, Temporary Marriage or Pleasure Marriage are different names for the Arabic term, Nikah Mut’a. This form of marriage is based on a contract between a man and woman with a fixed date of expiry. The man and woman will become strangers to each other after the expiration date. Its format is that the woman says the following to the man after they both agree to the terms of the dower and the period of time:
“I married you to myself on such-and-such a
dower and for the known period of time”
where this period is stated exactly. The man’s
answer will be: “I accept.” The dower can be in
the form of money or something else. According
to the terms of the contract, the woman
becomes the wife of the man, and the man
becomes her husband till the end of the period
specified in the contract. Mut’a can be
contracted for a night or a few days, months or
years or even for a few hours.

MUT’A – AMONG THE GOOD THINGS OF
ALLAH
Surah 5:87: “O ye who believe! Forbid not
the good things which Allah hath made
lawful for you , and transgress not, Lo!
Allah loveth not transgressors.” (Pickthall)

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number
13o:
Narrated ‘Abdullah (b. Mas’ud): We used to
participate in the holy battles led by Allah’s
Apostle and we had nothing (no wives) with
us. So we said, “Shall we get ourselves
castrated?” He forbade us that and then
ALLOWED US TO MARRY WOMEN WITH A
TEMPORY CONTRACT (2) and recited to
us: ‘O you who believe! Make not
unlawful the good things which Allah
has made lawful for you, but commit no
transgression .’ (Surah 5:87)

The above Hadiths show that Allah revealed a
Qur’anic verse authorizing the practice of Mut’a.
In Sahih Muslim’s narration, we are told that
Muhammad permitted his followers to
“contract temporary marriage for a
stipulated period giving her a garment” in
return for the enjoyment of sex they receive
from her . Alternatively, as the following Hadith shows, even “a handful of grain” is sufficient for the exchange. Muhammad clearly allowed his men to use temporary marriage as a sanctioned form of prostitution. Is their anything holy about muhammed at all ?
