Don't believe every nonsense you see online especially Twitter and whatsapp, it's an epicenter of fake and exaggerated news on those sites. Many of us here are in the East doing our business quietly, and apart from the regular presence of the military and joint task force units in some major areas that tends to create an atmosphere of panic, there's relative peace... I'm even in the most volatile part of the East (Owerri) and nothing dey go on here, only downside is that the nightlife we used to enjoy is gone for now. |
Fulani Herdsmen Stock Weapons, Ready To Attack Us – Ondo Community Cries Out As Police, Military Look Away Community leader said the Fulani attackers are presently in Lipakala Forest around Sabo area in Ondo town – an area known to security agencies but they have refused to deploy their personnel there. Residents of Adeoye, Akinrimisi and Ajaye in Ondo Town, Ondo State are presently living in fear as they have observed Fulani herdsmen in their numbers invading their areas with weapons and setting up hideouts for an imminent attack. SaharaReporters learnt that the Fulani herdsmen attacked one of the areas on Monday night up till Tuesday morning, in a “test-run” as residents lamented that the police and the soldiers deployed in their area only extort money from motorists and turn their backs on the attackers. A top source and community leader told SaharaReporters that the Fulani attackers are presently in Lipakala Forest around Sabo area in Ondo town – an area known to security agencies but they have refused to deploy their personnel there. “We are calling the attention of security agents to some Fulani herdsmen hiding at Lipakala Forest at Sabo, Adeoye, Akinrimisi up till Ajaye in Ondo town. The people living in these areas don’t sleep at night. Please, let Nigerians treat this as a matter that requires urgency. We have informed the security agencies but they are only interested in extorting money from motorists plying the roads. “Let the whole world hear before Fulani will attack Ondo town and the police and the military would claim they were not given intelligence. We are crying out now. Go and flush out Fulani gunmen hiding in Lipakala Forest in Sabo.” “Two days ago, they did a test-run attack. They forced many residents to flee to neighbouring villages. We could not sleep,” another source added. Ondo State has also had its fair share of herdsmen onslaughts in the recent past. SaharaReporters had in February, for example, reported how Fulani herdsmen attacked some farmers at Ijugbere in the Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State, killing three of them. The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on Agriculture, Akin Olotu, had confirmed the killing to SaharaReporters. “Yes, it’s true, three people were killed, the place is becoming like Zamfara. Those accusing the governor of ordering illegal occupants of the forest to vacate the place, I think they should be charged as accomplices,” Olotu told SaharaReporters. “It obvious these bandits are ready for war. That’s why the governor said if you are a cattle rearer, let us know you, disclose your identity. Let us know where you come from, let us know who own your cattle. It’s so sad.” http://saharareporters.com/2021/06/09/fulani-herdsmen-stock-weapons-ready-attack-us-%E2%80%93-ondo-community-cries-out-police-military |

https://twitter.com/9jababy1/status/1401435172025798659 So many gory pictures on Twitter, can't even post them here. |
Demdem:What an insufferable dunce, just imagine the utter filth and garbage you took your time to wrie (you sure must be one sick and twisted human being) or perhaps some miserable bastard with a vividly insidious imagination and fantasies of rape, which leads me to ask... where you sexually abused as a boy? or was your poor wretch of a mother gang-raped to birth a loathsome filth like you? cause it's easy to preen your dark and psychotic mindset from your litany of very descriptive gore and violence... I hope you seek help before you self-implode. |
I didn't see any Nigerian soldiers in that video aside from the lone security man that was overwhelmed and disarmed. |
The Facebook reporter claimed 300 people were killed, pay attention to the figures she claimed 300!!! And people are that naive and gullible to believe that? IPOB and stupidity SMH! |
kissGuys:Lol, because you know you're a disingenuous little scum, going by forum rules you should be banned actually for posting gory pictures with no source. |
kissGuys:Why not post a verifiable source to these gory pictures, this could have happened anywhere for all we know. |

Again, suspected herdsmen kill 12 in Benue HOME NEWS BUSINESS COLUMNS EDITORIAL ENTERTAINMENT POLITICS HEALTH WOMEN OPINION LETTERS Home - Breaking News in Nigeria Today - Tribune @ 70 logo Benue 3' Again, suspected herdsmen kill 12 in Benue LATEST NEWSTOP NEWS By Johnson Babajide - Makurdi On May 30, 2021 Suspected Fulani herdsmen early hours of Sunday launched simultaneous attacks on some communities in Ado Local Government Area of Benue State which left 12 people dead. Several people have been reported missing with over 5,000 people displaced. The lawmaker representing Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu federal constituency, Francis Otta Agbo had told Tribune Online that Izzi settlements of Tologa, Ndi-Obasi, Odoken in Ekile Ward Ado LGA were badly affected. He added that Izzi people in Obakoto, Odirewu, Offianka, Nwedoga in Ijigban Ward have been deserted for fear of Fulani Marauders invasion. The lawmaker also raised the alarm that “the Effium and Ezza crisis resurfaced this morning with so many people killed again.” Some residents of the areas affected said that the suspected herdsmen invaded their communities between 11pm on Saturday till early hours of Sunday, killing and maiming innocent people. Chairman of the local government, James Oche, confirmed the simultaneous attack on five communities in Ekile ward and stated that 12 persons were killed during the attack. The chairman in a telephone chat said that the attackers might have come on reprisal attack following the killing of an elderly man who was living with his children numbering 23 some time ago. The council boss said that it was suspected IPOB members who crossed over from Ebonyi State to Benue State that killed the elderly Fulani man, he identified as Muhammad Isah. Oche said, “I suspect that the herders came on reprisal attack because of one elderly Fulani man known as Isah Muhammad who lived in one of the affected communities that shared boundary with Ohakwu local government area of Ebonyi State and was recently killed by IPOB members who crossed over to the community in Ado. “The IPOB members killed the Fulani man in anger that their people were being killed in the north. “We have had peace with them and it was established that Ado people were not responsible for the death of that man. The deputy governor of Benue State is aware of the situation and Benue State government agreed to sponsor one of the deceased children in school. I wonder why this unwarranted and unprovoked attacked on innocent people of Ado. Oche said that a combined team of security agencies have been deployed to the area to beef up security. Meanwhile, Benue State Command spokesperson, DSP Catherine Anene could not be reached on the phone as she did not pick her call at the time of filing this report. AbaLion:Loads of rubbish, even in your region most of the notable academicians in your academic institutions were Igbo, I believe the first VC from the University of Ibadan was Kenneth Dike? How come Igbos produced majority of the best brains in the areas of civil service and other top Federal ministerial jobs during the first republic according to records even confirmed by the British? how come the best educated crop of military officers and NCO's at the time who were Sandhurst trained and educated were mainly Igbos (once again confirmed by the British in all their classifications of the various regions on the merit of facts and records)?, the fear of Igbo domination wasn't only prevalent in the North but also had significant inroads in the Westeen region (otherwise the famous "Yoruba ronu" anti Igbo speech by Akintola wouldn't have been birthed). Currently (if you want to go by present statistics), all the best performing states that have topped the index in all the national exam indices over the past years have been SE states, bring me any (and I triple dare you) any current stats that shows all the SW states outperform the SE states on any academic level both home and abroad and I'll forever hold my peace, it's not enough to blab without presenting your facts! |
PrinceOfLagos:It's an absolute myth that yorubas are more educated than Igbos, even though yorubas admittedly had the head-start in acquiring education first before other tribes in Nigeria due to their earlier exposure to Christian missionaries and western education, Igbos who were late to the western education party not only caught up with yorubas but even surpassed them, Igbos were preponderantly dominant in literally all fields of human endeavor pre and post independence Nigeria, so much so that the fear of "Ibo domination" became a very portent fear especially in the North as Igbos flooded the academic parastastals, civil service, Federal top jobs, even some of the best educated military officers then were predominantly Igbos etc...Ahmadu Bello's famous interview granted to a European reporter about Igbo domination even accentuated these facts... Awo's free education sure helped to bolster the yorubas in terms of academia, but at no point where they more educated than Igbos... not even after the war when Igbo lost all their major positions in Nigeria were Igbos overtaken. |
IgweOfNnewi:And the pig grunts! If an ordinary picture can bring out this much pain, bitterness and frustration from you, then I can't imagine how miserable your life will be in your everyday life... sucks to be product of rape, your poor slut of a mother who got gang-raped to produce an unfortunate chromosome like you with a contaminated DNA would sure wish she had aborted you ![]() |

Warripikine:It's a Oodua affair and that's their business, what I don't understand is why they are trying to drag IPOB into this whole thing. |
This useless CP just had to drag IPOB into his fake investigative report when there's absolutely no evidence IPOB made any threats to attack Lagos, what a shameless buffoon. |
BREAKING: IPOB, Oodua threats under investigation, says Lagos CP The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has said that the state Police Command is investigating the separatist group, Oodua Republic, and also the threat by the Indigenous People of Biafra to attack soft targets in the state. Odumosu made this known during a security summit chaired by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. According to the CP, “The Command has taken notice of agitators for Oodua Republic by some Yoruba separatist groups and the threats to disrupt law and order in the state. 24 of these groups have been identified and being closely monitored. “Similarly, the threat of IPOB to attack soft targets in Lagos is equally being put on the radar of the command intelligence gathering and other security services in the state. Strategies are being put in place to neutralise their activities. “The Command is using this medium to solicit for the support of all and sundry to be vigilant at all times and report any suspicious person or movement to security agencies. Let us adopt the slogan of “when you see something, say something.”” Speaking further, the Commissioner advised the state government to immediately take urgent measures against commercial motorcycles, popularly known as Okada riders in the state. https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/breaking-ipob-oodua-threats-under-investigation-says-lagos-cp/%3famp |
