Solsix:I've already answered this same question, scroll down the thread and see my reply. November isn't far away, rigging for house of assembly isn't the same as gubernatorial election, the LP candidate is equally as ruthless as Uzodinma with access to his own rigging machine (do your research about Martin Agbaoso), Uzodinma dey even fear the man sef. |
Odibembem:Lol won? Then you dont know half of what transpired in that HOA election. House of Assembly and Gubernatorial isn't the same, needless to mention the massive rigging and display of brazen thuggery that took place in that election, Uzodinma is ruthless and desperate and he is determined at any length to unleash his state-backed rigging machineries to retain power in Imo, go on twitter and watch videos of Ebubeagu thugs backed by soldiers as they harassed voters in Imo state. The Gubernatorial election is a whole different ball game, it will bloody and ruthless, Uzodinma will fight to the last to rig that election but if LP presents a very strong candidate like Martin Agbaoso (who is equally as powerful as Uzodinma), then it be lights out for Uzodinma |
Solsix:Based on what? even massive rigging and electoral intimidation with his Ebubeagu thugs won't save him, I'm from Imo state so I'm in a better place to tell you how it will do down. |
seunmsg:Lol keep fooling yourself, LP won Enugu, result will be announced soon actually so disregard this fake news. Only Ebonyi is an APC state because the governor elect is very popular in Ebonyi and has outstanding track records already, so he's expected to build on the wondeful foundation created by Umahi...Ebonyi simply voted the individual over party (nothing to do with APC). Imo state gubernatorial election is by November, Uzodinma is the most hated SE governor right now and all LP or APGA have to do is present a very strong candidate, and Imo will massively rally behind that candidate to kick Uzodinma out, LP have a 80% chance on winning Imo state depending on whom they present on their ticket. |
AKWATGOLD1:Difficult YES but not IMPOSSIBLE, it will all depend on the people of Imo state to get serious with their grassroot politics and align with one strong candidate, give him all the support and start on time (and I mean now) to raise awareness on the need to vote out Uzodinma at all cost, it won't be easy- of course politics is never easy, but Uzodinma is just one man, he can't take on the people when they decide to kick him out. |
Amidst all the chaos, bigotry, violence and decadence was that Igbos finally woke up and permanently retired deadweights like Ikpeazu, Chimaroke, Ugwuanyi etc these are derelict who are part of the political class of Igbo leaders that have posed a cog in the wheel of progress for Ndigbo...and trust me more of this is coming. I'm particularly happy for my Abia people, God knows these people have suffered under the clutches of political elements like OUK, Theodore Orji, Ikpeazu etc who have held the state bondage for nearly ages, a new dawn has come in that state and I hope it goes well for them. I intentionally left out Umahi from this political class of failures cause he did very well for Ebonyi, yes maybe his rhetorics sometimes gave him out as someone who was misrepresenting the Igbo interest, but in hindsight when you look deeper...you will realize he was only playing national politics". I hope his successor builds on his successful foundation in Ebonyi, I'm hearing Nwifuru won Ebonyi which is good. It now remains Imo state, all hands must be on deck to kick out Uzodinma this November when guber election starts in Imo, Uzodinma will prove a tough nut to crack as he's a very ruthless and efficient politician (we saw the handprints of his rigging in the just concluded House of Assembly election in Imo, APC won 25 out of 27 HOA in Imo 🤣). I'm confident if a strong opposition candidate emerges on the LP or APGA ticket for Imo, we will rally behind him to take back power from Uzodinma come November. In all, this election from a South East perspective, was a much needed breath of air for so many reasons. |
I'm an LP guy but I'm glad the APC candidate won, Nwifuru has an outstanding track record and I know he will build on the great momentum and foundation of development Ebonyi is enjoying today (I won't lie Umahi tried in Ebonyi). As for the tribalistic idiots here "mocking" LP, when will you morons get it into your thick skulls that people vote individuals and not the party? Ebonyi voted Obi for presidential, the APC guber election is a whole different ball game, the LP candidate for Ebonyi wasn't even popular or qualified in the first place. |
Sheriff is winning, No APC in Delta state |
Very misleading and mischievous thread. Alex Otti the LP guber aspirant posted the picture of the deplorable road on his Twitter page himself as a way to bring to light the terrible mess Abia state has been plunged into under the present government of PDP |
Gift orban scored 4 goals today including a world class free kick...this kid is ridiculously GOOD and he's only 20! I know Osimhen is the flavor of Nigerian football, but Gift in my opinion is the next big thing in Nigerian football, I see a big club making a summer signing move for him. |
This is like the 10000th thread opened by urchins lamenting about their Thiefnubuu druggie not giving the SE senate president, ok we've heard already, anything else?! if una like give the senate president seat to Kafanchan WE DON'T GIVE A FUCCK, I haven't seen a more miserable and attention seeking bunch of cry-babies than this Thiefnubuu pigs, shebi una dey claim say una "win" presidential election, so why all these repetitively boring threads about your useless senate president rants? as if the SE haven't already produced the highest numbers of Senate presidents already! Shior! Get a life. |
DenreleDave:We are talking about the Edo people here and not the SS...stop the grandstanding. |
Mfetenang:Imagine the sheer audacity and cheek of this subhuman, this miserable underachieving born-throway bastard to call Madam Ngozi Okonjo Iweala a fat prostitute...honestly the anonymity of the internet really gives dirty pigs like your pathetic self the fuccking guts to over-estimate your low dirt groveling scummy existence sha! Can you mention ANY woman in your entire mushroom tribe including your pathetic family tree who can measure up to just a 1/4 of Madam Ngozi's achievements? Is your pigsty and rotund looking biTch of a mother even worthy enough to be her cleaner? I don't blame you sha, na Nigerian factor I blame, any nonentity can now come on a faceless forum and talk smack. |
elnegrodeafriqu:But your brothers claim Labor party is an "Ipob party", so a yoruba woman ran on the ticket of an Ipob party and won a senate seat in the FCT right? |
So the independent collation showed LP came second as opposed to third, imagine what the real BVAS configuration will show? interesting... |
Because they are inwardly frustrated that their drug Lord "president elect" wasn't received with the mass euphoria that one would expect for a new govt, cause at the end it's still the same disastrous APC government that rigged themselves into power. Tinubu has gotten a handful of congratulatory messages globally, yet for a president elect of Africa's most populous black nation, you would expect more recognitions from African nations as well as globally, but how will that be feasible when he wasn't even celebrated in his own country? na only APC faithfuls in few states celebrate EscoBAT. For context, even Buhari got more recognitions and celebrations when he was reelected in 2019 even while his popularity had waned significantly. |
Definitely we're kicking out Hope Uzodinma and his APC baggage for good in Imo, Martin Agbaso just picked up the form to run as LP candidate for the Imo state gubernatorial election, I might pitch my tent with him. Who are the other popular candidates? https://twitter.com/MartinAgbasoMFR/status/1633535347547070469?t=Iw81GHcvQYqY6am53qyXyg&s=19

helinues:According to a proverbial excerpt from Chinua Achebe's classic book "Things Fall Apart"- "An old woman is always uneasy when dry bones are mentioned in a proverb" Na you sabi the agenda wey carry you post wetin you post...every discerning mind knows the greatest discomfort of this APC government was seeing Igbos vote in numbers, but God pass una, the voter turnout in the SE shocked you criminals. |
For the past few months, the usual reports of UGM attacks across the SE which usually headlined every media outlets almost on daily basis has drastically reduced? This really goes to show this criminal orchestrations of attacks in the SE has the handprints of government written all over it, the aim of course was to disenfranchise the people from voting, of course that failed so they are now disappointed. Criminals like Simon Ekpa were paid to destabilize the SE, now nobody hears about Ekpa anymore, the lunatic is fading away like the irrelevant idiot that he has always been. |
He improves the economy and reduces inflation by making FOREX better Provides infrastructure for improved security Improves our energy sector Runs an INCLUSIVE govt where every Nigerian regardless of tribe, religion or party affiliation is represented Improve our education sector (no more ASUU strike etc) Makes sure the basic principle of democracy is respected amongst other fundamental factors that will make this nation better, and make us all heal. God knows I'll wholeheartedly support Tinubu and wish his govt the best, at the end suffering won't care which tribe you belong to when a govt does woefully, if a Tinubu govt defies all odds and prospers...then we all prosper, which is all we ask for at the end. I'm just tired of the hate and division pervading this country. |
The popular opinion now is that there might be a possible re-run of this election sometime this month or a delay in swearing in Tinubu, just too many controversies and discrepancies on this election which doesn't bode well with the fractured democracy of this country...except the judiciary is compromised, I see a long drawn panel and court case over this presidential election. |
If you're truly on Twitter then you should know most of the LP gubernatorial candidates are very active there with decent following...the Enugu LP aspirant is very active (look up his handle Chijioke Edeoga), the Plateau LP aspirant is also active, same for Ebonyi, Abia (Alex Otti) and Delta. |
You might as well either declare Oduduwa republic, advocate for outright return to regional government, or make APC a Yoruba party cause you guys just sound daft and childishly paranoid at this point. |
This dangerous game of extreme bigotry and insensitivity by certain sections of yorubas might lead to another civil war in Nigeria, ironically it won't be the typically violent North that will start this war, it will be the so called "sophisticated" and "progressive" yorubas that will start the next crisis. I just hope Nigerians are keeping record so that nobody will blame Igbos when everyone decides to get mad together. https://twitter.com/omaakatugba/status/1632321927208476672?t=S6HVEgxjlexagBf7vZ6J1A&s=19

Lol I doubt any honest South easterner was expecting anything from APC, so we're completely desensitized anyway. Buhari did enough politics of exclusion towards the SE in his administration and heavens didn't fall, at the end almost all his appointees failed miserably in all sectors. We will be happy for our SS brothers if they get the senate president even though it's fair a Northern Christian gets it this time). It's time for the SE to introspectively re-evaluate our place in the national politics of Nigeria by looking inwards; Obi has surely given us a different outlook on how to play politics and rebrand. |
Mfetenang:You want to exterminate Igbos? LMFAOOOO this is rather odd coming from someone who belongs to the minority stock (that's if you're truly from the South South), but what truly is your issue with Igbos? Why are you so hurt? Igbo man dey fucck your babe? ![]() |
Uchek:Nwanne Zik and Ironsi were indeed tragic parts of our history as Ndigbo, those two are cumulatively the reason why Ndigbo are stuck in this mess and quagmire that we're in today...that's why I never resonated with the ideals of my dad who was a core Zikist, apparently he always feted and serenaded Zik as this great nationalist...I believed him at first, until I decided to read more about Zik as I got older, only then till I realize Zik for all his accomplishments was more of a curse than a blessing to Igbos for several reasons (I personally believe Awolowo was a better politican than he was). As for Ironsi, the less said the better. |
