Celebrities › Re: Reno Omokri: No Sympathy For Celebrities Who Go Broke In Old Age by Mancrossfire: 9:08pm On Apr 10, 2021 |
post=100675370: We hope our celebrities in our darling country can learn from these celebrities below.....
Beyonce The former Destiny Child’s star turned worldwide pop icon knows how to play her cards when it comes to investing — which makes sense, considering she’s worth an estimated $400 million. One of her strategies? Using her name to diversify her investments, like the time she told Uber she wanted equity in the company rather than cash as compensation for performing at their 2015 corporate event in Vegas. Once the company went public last year, her stock was valued at roughly $9 million. Now that’s how to invest in startups.
Jay-Z Queen Bey is just one-half of the equation when it comes to the financial success of the Knowles-Carter family. Jay-Z has also made some pretty impressive investments over the years, all of which have led him to an estimated net worth of $1 billion. So how did Shawn Carter get to become “hip-hop’s first billionaire?” With a lot of mixed ventures, hard work, and smart investments. Since launching his champagne business, Armand de Brignac, back in 2007, the company has steadily grown to be valued at more than $300 million. He also launched a music streaming service called TIDAL back in 2014, which is now worth $100 million. But by far Carter’s most impressive investment has to be the Uber stock he purchased for $2 million that’s now worth, get this — an estimated $70M. Investing apps make it easy to get into stocks when they allow you to buy fractional shares. This means you can buy stocks with a very small amount of money. Check out our comparison of Stash vs. Robinhood to learn more about two of the most popular apps for buying stocks.
Justin Bieber Justin Bieber isn’t only racking in the cash from his wildly successful music career, fragrance, and clothing brands. He’s also been a successful investor for years now, working with a business manager to make key investments in companies like Spotify, Liquid I.V., and Stamped. All of those timely decisions seemed to have paid off, as the 26-year-old is reportedly worth $285 million
Will Smith As if the “Bad Boys for Life” and “Aladdin” actor hadn’t given us enough reasons to admire him, here’s one more. Will Smith didn’t just spend his career making his own savvy investments, he also went as far as to launch his own venture capital fund, Dreamers VC. This LA-based fund primarily invests in companies solving social problems, like notable med-tech companies Genome Medical and Nurx. By selectively choosing his investments and calling the shots by running his own fund, Smith has grown his net worth to $350 million.
Arnold Schwarzenegger The renowned Austrian-American actor and former governor of California has a resume longer than most. In addition to his many prominent early-stage investments in startups like Scopely Inc. and Alphabet (aka Google), Schwarzenegger has also been known for his smarts when it comes to how to invest in real estate. By having his hands in many enterprises at once, the once-broke actor has amassed a fortune of $450 million.

Romance › Re: My Girlfriend Was Used For Money Rituals, Now She Has Complications by Mancrossfire: 6:52am On Jan 27, 2021 |
Gerrard59: Only in poor sh!tholes we read that ritual killing makes someone rich. A South Korean reading will be stunned that undies of a girl or blood stains from her vagina will make another rich. Yet, this same place has the highest number of poor people in the world, literally the highest globally. Questions are: why are Nigerians poor if rituals actually make someone rich? Why are there very few Nigerians on Forbes/Bloomberg? Why are the people who concoct these things not rich? At least, professors from top business schools are well paid and some are very rich even though some of their students are richer than they are. Why are these native doctors not rich? Why can't these people enter a bank and command the MD to handover money to them? Why did none of these people use same ritual power to participate and win in the now defunct WWTBAM? Win gold medal in the Olympics?
Why? Calm down man . I was once like you...I mean questioning everything about spiritualism, diabolism, voodoo etc. I was raised in a very strong Christian family hence I never believed in diabolical stuff. But I have a distance uncle who never believed in christianity or anything call white man religion. This my distance uncle is very intelligent, wise and highly respected in the community. On one of his birthday he asked a pastor why and what's the need of binding the devil and spiritual warfare if diabolical and spiritualism doesn't work? One day I paid him a nicodemus visit, I asked him several questions on this subject and why babalawos, chief priest and herbalist were not rich if actually they can made one rich? Then he said to me don't be deceived by western cultures towards African traditional religions. That I will see it before I believe it isn't wisdom . He said look son, everything in life has it price and it rewards. These herbalist and babalawos have their rewards which is not earthly gains. Their rewards is the ability to hear from the gods and not to be rich. They take great pride in being chosen by the gods as a mouthpiece and not to be listed on billionaire dashboard! it's a choice! The ritualists you pointed out can't be listed on billionaire dashboard cos no amount of rituals can make you wealthy. That list is exclusive for those who are wealthy and not those who are rich. Yes these ritualists actually make money...just enough to stay afloat, I mean enough to build houses, buy cars, drinks and womanizing. they only escaped absolute poverty. That you never see it doesn't make it not real...I once thought in that line believing that magic doesn't exist until a magician came to our streets in Binin city many years ago, like 20 years back to perform some magic. I practically put up a fight with the magician to see if this stuff actually work like my uncle said. I challenged the magician to a show! Before my two eyes and the crowd He turned my pair of shoes to two big rats. I've never seen miracles being performed but at least I've seen magic being performed! These things works to an extent. |
