after Jonah government must have spent about $4billion oil revenues fighting the Monster, about 15000 innocent Nigerians killed, Nigeria's soldiers killed.

Southern Nigeria has no political union binding them.

What we have is old Southeast and old Southwest Nigeria.

Southwest has entered into deep political alliance of no return with north to undo the old East, to keep the old East perpetually downtrodden in Nigeria.

Increasing presence in the southwest of north's dominant religion has cemented the political alliance between the north and southwest.

Some of these women just came to showcase their faces while others came to get others for political goals.

people asking the FG to negotiate with these guys are missing the point.

they are ready to cripple this govt no matter what simply because when you talk of dialogue things like pipeline contracts and amnesty schemes are proposed, this is not what these guys want as they have demonstrated.

Dialoguing with them when their major demand is basically decentralisation of the country which will reduce the powers at the center and make the region manage their resources to pay a certain amount to the center will not be easy.

The issue now will be IS THE FG READY TO DO THAT?

If the FG announces today that it will sponsor a bill to the house for the adoption of true federalism/regionalis as contained in the 2014 confab report, i bet the bombings will stop and further negotiations can take place.

justice and fairness demands that every region should be productive and contribute to the center, This will even make us more united as a country and the slogan united in diversity will make more sense.

my two cents

If getting ransom money from Buhari govt is what the NDA are blowing oil pipes for, people would have given them up to the military, because the Avengers are not ghosts.

Restructuring Nigeria so that Abuja shall become a thin central govt with powers over such things like monetary policy and international relations; allow all sections of Nigeria use what they have in and around their environment to develop their areas at their own pace;

and pay a little tax to the central government - as agreed to by our fathers when they agreed for independence under one Nigeria; as it were before oil was found.

This formula shall make Nigerian groups compete among themselves to develop their areas.

Any advantage any area has can easily be copied by any disadvantaged area. Before long, all of Nigeria - from Sokoto to Portharcourt, from Maiduguri to Lagos - shall develop.

If Nigeria refuses that, it is heading to what we all know -----

How could a whole president be so thoughtless when he told an emir of his home state, Katsina, that to acquire and enjoy the oil proceeds they are now enjoying, two million people were killed?

Did Buhari not know that some sections of Nigeria believe that Boko Haram was used to sack Jonathan for Buhari to become president, after all, Buhari had been rejected thrice before in the polls?

Buhari is repeating 1983 to 1985 when he used military coup to push out Shsgari/Ekwueme presidency by accusing the the government of corruption.

Buhari placed VP Ekwueme in prison but left Shagari in the comfort of his home.

The same Buhari who also said that late Abacha was not corrupt.

All these are part of why Buhari remains the darling of the talakawa masses in the north

Most southern Nigerians that used to live in the north when that standard gauge rail line was conceived and started have been chased back to the south by Boko Haram and sharia matters.

That rail line is the first-ever standard gauge rail line in Nigeria.
Jonathan had to speed up the rail project to appease northerners for his rd-election.

Imagine that the Niger delta without such expensive standard gauge rail line but the north has it first.
Most of northern Nigeria did not vote for Jonathan.
But Buhari's cruelty made him go with the policy of 95% for those who voted him, but 5% for those who didn't vote for him.
