INDUSTRIALFAN:As a matter of fact, I will advice you to invest in your financial education. Since you do not have an idea of what you want to do with the money now, I will advice you to invest the money in FGN bond or Treasury Bills. This will give you a return of about N1.1 million every 91 days, while you getting ideas and knowledge on how to make, manage and multiply money. NB, Please do not look for fast money. Slow and steady is how permanent and long lasting wealth is made. If the return on the investment is too good to be true, please flee from such investment. For now avoid all the investments people on this forum are selling to you, according to Warren Buffet when a man with money meets a man with experience, the man with the money with gain or get the experience, while the man with the experience will get the money. I am sure you are not ready to trade your inherited money for experience from scammers, that is why you should invest in your financial and investment education. |
INDUSTRIALFAN:How did you get the N40 million? Did you get it through saving or investment? Did you inherit it from your parents? Did you get the money through lottery? Did you get it through legitimate deals and businesses. Your answer to these questions will determine the type of answer or advice I will give. I will advice you to be very careful of people of people giving your advice on this forum, as a matter of fact your made a big mistake by making your contact public. This is my 20cent. Yours truly is an investor cum businessman with more than 22 years experience investing in the capital market, money market, real estate and small businesses. |
http://www.punchng.com/news/i-havent-lost-agbaje-insists/ The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State, Mr. Jimi Agbaje, has urged his supporters to disregard the figures being circulated online. Agbaje said on his Facebook page that he was still hopeful of victory, adding that they should wait for the official figures from the Independent National Electoral Commission. He said, “I want to assure you that we are currently monitoring the vote counting process so please do not believe the various unofficial numbers that are being shared across the Internet . “An official announcement will be made at the appropriate time when all numbers are in. Continue to remain resolute. Thank you for your continued support. “ |

TopGee:As a matter of fact the economy of Lagos is growing bigger and bigger. |
slimmy05:But people will always migrate from the other side of the Niger to the so called slave camp ie Lagos. I guess the leaders of the slave camp are doing something right. We are okay with how our slave camp is managed. |

timothy001:Spyder's professional fees should be like N3 million, budget another N2 million for Omo-onile and government officials ie if the project is located in Lagos or Ogun State. At the end of the day you may spend more than N30 million. |
mufutau55:I will try, hope time will permit me. |
timothy001:I know N30 million can do the project, but this is only possible for experienced and informed owners who have the luxury of time to do running around, direct management of workers on site and do quotation/price comparison. Since most people on this thread may not be that endowed with the requisite information, knowledge and considering the problem of time constraints, I think it will be okay to have a budget of between N35 million to N40 million. We may just have to stick to this figure of N35 million to N40 million until when Spyder finishes computing his figures. Currently doing a project in Agbara Ogun State and I can give the money spent as at any stage of the project. |
@Spyder since you have refused to tell the house the total money spent so far on the project, can you give us an idea of the budget of the owner of this house. At least every sensible person should have a budget before embarking on a project of this magnitude. we do not need the exact figure, just give us a range. From my layman's experience working on smaller personal housing projects, I think N35 million to N40 million should be able to complete this project excluding the cost of land. |
Please move this to front page. |

nkemdi89:Even at that it is financially savvy to have something close to a value of what you have as a liability in investment. If you are driving a car of N2million, you should a minimum of N1 million in income generating investment. |
nkemdi89:They can build to rent, the rent from the house will be another cash-flow that can be channeled for more investments. Provided the house has the right titles, the house can be used to access for funds for further wealth creation. |
njays24:Same here, I am a tenant in the city Lagos but have two income generating houses on the outskirt of Lagos and the third house is 90% completed. |
ideology:The OP is worried that the guy does not have any form of investment, driving a car of N2 million without an investment is a very bad financial planning strategy. The guy can buy a car of N1 million and have another N1 million invested in an income generating asset, likr real estate, money market instrument, small businesses or stocks in blue chip companies. |
