200% Jagaban in Zamfara

The director, Contact and Mobilisation (North-west), of the All
Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, Aminu
Sani Jaji, has distributed 70 vehicles to all the 14 local government
areas of Zamfara State to boost campaign for party’s candidate,
Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The distribution was made Tuesday during the flagging off Jaji’s
campaign for House of Representatives for the Kaura Namoda/
Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency of Zamfara state held at the
Kaura Namoda stadium.
“We are here to kick start our campaign process as part of
contribution to ensure the victory of Tinubu/Shettima and the APC
in general,” a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja by Jaji’s
media office quoted him as saying
He described Tinubu as a credible politician with a wealth of
experience to tackle security and economic challenges and lift
Nigeria to a greater heights.
Jaji urged the electorates to support the APC and vote for Tinubu/
Shettima ticket and other party candidates in the state, even as he
expressed optimism that the APC will come out victorious in the
2023 general election.

The federal government yesterday in Abuja handed over the keys
and certificate of occupancy of the apartment promised to former
Super Eagles’ chief coach Clemens Westerhof for leading his team
to Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) glory in Tunisia 1994.
The house handed over to Clemens Westerhof is located in
Prototype Housing Scheme in Gwagwalada, Abuja and other
beneficiaries were allocated their homes in various states of their
choice in the National housing programme estates across the
country.
Mr Westerhof, a citizen of Holland, had in 1994 led the senior male
national football team to Nigeria’s second continental triumph.
The minister of works and housing, Babatunde Fashola, who made
the presentation on behalf of the government 28 years after, said it
was a testimony of President Buhari-led government resolved to
ensure that Nigerians irrespective of time, who made sacrifices to
project the good image of country, are recognized and encouraged
to keep working for the corporate benefits of all.
The minister who was represented by the director of public building
and housing, Arch Solomon Labafilo said: “As we head towards the
end of president Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure of office, I’m happy
to also say that we have entered a season of completion and
handover of keys to beneficiaries in 35 states and the FCT to
Nigerians who have successfully subscribed for houses built under
the National housing programme (NHP).

President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Executive
Secretary of the National Agricultural Land Development
Agency (NALDA), Prince Paul Ikonne to procure an
additional five agricultural spraying aircraft to cover the
six geopolitical zones of the country.
The President gave the directive while launching some of
the equipment procured by the agency on Thursday at the
Eagle Square in Abuja.
“In addition to this spraying aircraft, I am directing the
Executive Secretary of NALDA to procure additional 5
aircrafts in order to have each geopolitical zone covered.
Government has procured various equipment for
agricultural mechanization such as tractors, combined
harvesters, pumping machines, surveillance and spraying
drones, etc. We will keep procuring land preparation
equipment until we have enough,” he said.
Represented by the Secretary to the Government of the
Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha, the President said
his commitment to a better Nigeria was not in doubt
adding that “I have demonstrated it from the inception of
this government and I will keep demonstrating it until the
last day of our service in 2023.”

President Buhari reiterated that he revived the agency with
one sole aim of achieving food security while creating jobs
in the Sector as additional means of earning foreign

“Within these two years of my bringing NALDA back, I am
pleased that NALDA under my watch is achieving results
that are directly and positively affecting the people,
especially from the rural areas. In line with my vision of
seeing Nigeria lead in agricultural development, I believe
that after having resuscitated NALDA, my successors will
build on its legacies in order for Nigeria to achieve food
sufficiency in no distant time,” the president said.
Some of the equipment showcased were a drone for
spraying chemicals, combined harvesters, tractors, and
cages for poultry and rabbit production.

we’ve been struggling for his freedom for a long time. Initially,

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has
cautioned consumers against the patronage and use of
devices that have not been approved and counterfeit
devices.
NCC strongly warned that such devices negatively affect
the quality of experience while leaving their users
vulnerable to losses and other discomforts.
A statement by NCC on Wednesday said the enforcement
team arrested Yahaya Ado of Gezawa Communications
Limited for selling counterfeit Gionee devices and not being
able to show any evidence of authorisation granted to the
company by the commission.

Peskov on Friday said Putin was ready for talks to ensure
Russia’s interests are respected but added that

Ukrainian regions that the Kremlin claims to have
annexed.
In September, Moscow held so-called referendums in
four regions of Ukraine — Donetsk, Kherson, Lugansk and
Zaporizhzhia — and said residents had voted in favour of

The United Nations has condemned the “attempted
illegal annexation” of Ukrainian land.
Peskov said that before sending troops to Ukraine on
