BusinessRe: N5 Million Sitting Idle In My Bank Account.. GIVEAWAY by Mannyemmy(m): 7:30pm On Feb 02, 2021
Comeandcollect:
Brethren, I have N5million sitting idle in my bank account, I do not know what to do with it.

Can anyone advise which business I can use it to open for people, I do not need a business myself as I'm ok but I want to empower anyone who can best utilise it.

Any suggestions if not I will use am do giveaway here.
Consider these businesses ideas below for the intended startup:
You can startup a fintech platform and be earning hugely as most banks are not reliable and overcrowded these period and many persons are embracing the fintech space in Nigeria.
Although, I don't know your current location, however, Food is constantly essential. You can rent a shop and startup a restaurant, do some billboard advert and can as well digitalize it by creating a website and/or app where people can order and get the food delivered around their area.
You can as well open a bakery. Here in my area, there is only one bakery and the area has a population of thousands of inhabitants and hundreds of shops. You can as well startup yours by employing professional bakers and do your own unique style of baking the bread and do home delivery and you can add ice cream and as well digitalize it to ease the business for you. Your capital is also a good one for starting up a lending business with very low risk having an automated web application for the business and getting your desired return on investment monthly.
You can also startup a food processing business and start with frozen food production. You can also start a private refinery business by starting up a kerosene depot. it's in high demand these period we are.
Moreover, I have a business networking group connecting persons to opportunities. In here, we have some entrepreneur with feasible and proficient businesses ideas you can invest in such as a digital advertising agency, production of poultry feed mill, cassava farming and direct sales to a big company, e-learning platform, online queue system and many more.

GreatestManEver:
Please I have up to 1.5 million and I’m a student (300L Mbbs)
Please which business can I venture into?
Thank you all wonderful people for the forthcoming advices
Do you intend starting up your own business or you're looking for investment deals to invest your money?
However, if you're going for the former which is starting up your own business, due to the fact that you're still a student, you may not have the whole time to monitor. Moreover, if you still insist on starting up a business, your best bet as a student is to establish the business in your institution. Now what kind of business can I startup in the university? You can startup importation of phones and also employ a phone repairer. Most universities has told all it's students that they should get a mobile device compulsory so they can introduce e-learning etc. So the demand and repair of phones will be high in the universities.

You can also startup a chicken and chips business in your university which will be run every night and you can also easily monitor it. Just employ a pro that's good and you're good to go. Carryout a unique branding by getting a booking system, your packaging and doing home/hostel delivery across your institution.

You can also start an online loan application giving
small personal loans and you will generate your revenues from the proposed interest rates. It's quite lucrative. Just get a well automated loan application platform that will ensure the security of your funds and you're good to go. It's something you can personally control remotely.

You can as well also startup a gaming center. Just purchase PS4 and other gaming consoles and you're good to go.

Moreover, If you're going for the later which is looking out for a investment deal to invest your funds, avoid any high yield investment platform, Ponzi schemes, betting etc
Alternatively, you can also join my business networking group to be connected to more opportunities. If interested, click on the link on my signature and if the link doesn't works, chat up the number you see there to be added.

Best regards.

BusinessRe: There Are No Banks Here Because Of Armed Robbers by Mannyemmy(m): 10:52pm On Jan 25, 2021
TimInspired:
Can you imagine your local community being without a bank, and there is no means to withdraw or deposit money and carry out other banking activities.

Think about it. I'm sure it seems absurd.

You'll have to take transport to a bank far from your house. Very inconvenient!

Abaranje town, around IKOTUN in Lagos is such a place. There are no banks. I heard a rumour that the bank(s) opened were robbed and this is what discourages the opening of banks.
It's a good thing, however, that there are a lot of people doing POS business.
I wonder what it would have been like without both POS people and bank.

So, name that area you live in Lagos State where there are no banks or POS, drop it in the comments section.
Same here in my area although It's common in most places probably due to the development of the area.

macnino399:
Please I still need more suggestions.
Thank you
Do you have any skill? If no, your best bet is to learn one and start freelancing and work at the comfort of your home unlike offline jobs that may stress and make you miss some classes which may subsequently lead to decrease in your CGPA.
Do you have a laptop? If yes, go learn one of these; web development, graphics design, video animation, digital marketing etc. But if you don't have a laptop yet, go learn content writing and pick a niche you know, write some sample articles and go register on any of the freelancing website and start exploring.
Note: These skills will give you financial freedom beyond the university.

Wish you the best.
BusinessRe: What Business Can I Do With 500k And Make Profits Of 100k Monthly by Mannyemmy(m): 10:09pm On Jan 25, 2021
Adeplus:
I just got some cash from someone 500k and I have been pondering on what business I can do that will give me a monthly profit of 100k monthly.

Lost my job since July so I really need get back on my feet.

Please guys and ladies if you have a good business idea share with me thanks
First and foremost, eradicate that greedy mindset of yours! Making such an ROI for a startup of 500k is erroneous. Please be guided so you don't get scammed! Hence you lost job since last year, you ought to be looking out for passive income.
However, your question plus comments seems conflicting, do you want business ideas to startup your own business or you're looking for investment deal to invest your funds?

If it's the former, you can startup a video gaming center. Just look for a open place in your area and buy the various games (PS4, PS3 etc), if it's place you rent is quite spacious, you can add bet9ja to it and you can generate your supposed ROI amount.
Food is constantly essential. You can rent a shop and startup a restaurant, do some billboard advert and can as well digitalize it by creating a website and/or app where people can order and get the food delivered around their area.
Car wash: rent a land space, liaise with someone to be giving you water and you're good to go. Employ boys them who whom will watch the car. I once had a friend who does these and makes nothing less than 50k to 60k monthly as his profit.

I honestly don't know what to invest idle cash of #5m into. I'm not after quick gain but I need passive income. Something that can give me at least 5% of #5m per month.

Been seriously thinking of what I can do... But I can't just seem to get any meaningful ideas. Any help will be appreciated. I don't mind partnership business too but it will need to be very convincing before I can embark on such partnership

Note... I don't need online business... I need offline business

The rate and inability of youth to find good jobs is worrisome. I happen to find myself in this category and infact it has affected my settling down. To cut the long story short I have a budget of about 250k so I will need honest advice on which business I can do as a (man) that can fetch me regular income. Thank you.
First and foremost what can you do? What's your prowess? What class of businesses are you interested in; online or offline?
Moreover if you don't have any relevant skill, I will give you some few businesses ideas you can startup considering your budget.

-Selling Chicken and Chips: you necessarily don't need any office or store which will save you funds, just book a space on any hot selling junction in your area and startup. You go learn it yourself, not really hard to learn or you can as well employ a lady to be doing it for you.

-Toasted Bread and Egg | Indomie Shop: Rent a mini shop and get started. You can make up to 5,000 daily.

- Cleaning Service: quite easy to start, just walk around and visit the offices and organizations around you and tell them you are a professional cleaner and you run a cleaning brand that you can be helping them sweep and tidy their workplaces.
NB: You necessarily don't have to be doing these yourself, you can just employ some young hustling boys and you pay them.

- Car wash: rent a land space, liaise with someone to be giving you water and you're good to go. Employ boys them who whom will watch the car. I once had a friend who does these and makes nothing less than 50k to 60k monthly as his profit.

BETIKS:
Hello people, I have ₦500000 I will like to Invest.

As much as I understand that scams are increasing in Nigeria in a geometric proportion, I still strongly believe that there are legit means one can invest money and earn respectable returns.

There is an accertion that a Nigerian who is making money would never show or reveal the means through which he/she makes money. I don't believe that, so I am here innocently but wisely looking for where to invest my little 500k.

Suggestions would be well appreciated. Thanks.
Don't invest in any Ponzi/HYIP, MLM schemes because most of them are scams.
Moreover, your best bet now is to put it in a fixed deposit in your bank or any reputable licensed financial institution in Nigeria.
Moreover, there are also some investment you can do although it's more like a business startup and you will be the principal and won't be really active. Businesses like employing someone to be making and selling of chicken and chips in any hot selling junction in your area that you can be monitoring and subsequently, you will surely be generating revenues from it.

Join our business networking group that connects people to more opportunities. Check my signature on how to join.
