Travel / Re: Emirates Cancels All Flights To Nigeria In Retaliation To FG Once A Week Flight by manontree: 6:22am On Dec 11, 2021
Very very good one from the FG. Next up is to Ban all British citizens from coming here

UNTIL we are known to be highly retaliatory, i.e Iran (Have you seen any western country messing with Iranian citizens?), these western people won't just treat us right

This would also help us stay here and spend our money and loots here

Best news in years....They won't come here, so why must we rush there? We would get sense by force

Well done Buhari on this alone o

Education / Re: Child At Home, Beast In School? by manontree: 11:52am On Dec 04, 2021
Bullying is a major social nuisance

I would encourage parents to take action once they learn of this. That's the only way to get the school to act. Bring police and arrest the parents on trumped up charges. Re arrest other adult family members to the extreme

A friend did this when he learnt his son is bullied by a school boy and the school kept delay dallying. He paid some cops and arrested the boys father on trumped up charges. As soon as he got released he arrested the mum on similar charges then his aunt

The family had to come to negotiate with him as he was ready in the process of arresting the boys adult brother

That solved the problem. The father beat the boy black and blue and removed him from the school themselves

I beg to differ here. After graduating from Medicine, the society needed his input. Who may know those that died he may have saved

He could easily have gone for pharmacy as a second degree yet he wasted another 5yrs reading a course he already did a chunk of in medical pharmacology

A lot of doctors go for specialisation in areas they have interest rather than going back to the root of the course

Falsified data. This is not the first time the FG has falsified data to show the North is doing better

We have seen many of this in population census. We are not fooled

If that's the case let the VAT be state controlled if Yobe can generate N9b. Where and how. Which businesses exist there

The South with various business activities far in excess of the war stricken North East is said to have collected less VAT

You guys don't even know how to tell intelligent lies

This guy called Kpokpogri or whatever his name is, is a disgrace to men. How a man would knowingly do this to a fellow man, even if the man's wife pushes for it, still baffles me. Women are everywhere and you see attraction in someone's wife. Abeg how does this work

That said, the fact that a married woman can open her legs to a strange man without a bother is amazing, disgusting, the highest of lows. So the vow you made in front of God is just mere words. To even bring the husband of your youth to such disrepute with badmouthing while with your adulterous boyfriend is the height of deceit and evil

Always remember, people do reap what they sow

Crime / Re: Buhari Orders Chima Igwe's Trial For Using Phantom Certificate For 18 Years by manontree: 8:08am On Sep 30, 2021
But the school later confirmed that they issued him with a PHD

Why this half baked reporting. The story is not comprehensive

What this guy did was to fake a certificate from the school when the vacancy for directorship became available and he couldn't apply without a doctorate as his genuine PHD was awaited

He later completed the doctorate and this was why the minister tried saving him as the school confirmed they awarded him a PhD

Yes, he did submit a fake result while he awaited the real one which he later got a year later

While this was a crime, there were many in this administration that also forged one form of certificate or another which they never got and they weren't prosecuted. If anything this guy is to refund his salary for one year during the pendency of his doctorate as he regularised a year later

Kemi was never proscurted nor was that minister with a forged NYSC

Several including that Mallam at the United Nations have fake certificate and none has been prosecuted

Family / Re: My Wife Is Ungrateful by manontree: 10:05am On Sep 17, 2021
Granted she never loved you from beginning but your money

But regardless she should at least be grateful . Few men can treat her this way. If she is a good person she should have been grateful for all you have done and the least she would do is treat you fairly

But this ingrate has taken your hard earned sweat and has to show you that you mean nothing to her

People don't usually realise what they have until they lose it

My advise
Give her a taste of her own medicine. Separate from her for a while. Do not spend a dime on her during the separation. Make it a minimum of 1yr
If she battles you for upkeep of the child, battle her with all the wealth you have until she is choked and realises she cannot win ugly with you. Trust me she would use the daughter as a means to keep getting financial fulfilment from you while frolicking with the men she loves during the separation period. You must return venom for venom
That is when she would revert to being humble again and that is when the real negotiation begins

Career / Re: Sudden Recall From Former Organisation by manontree: 3:34pm On Sep 13, 2021
Here is the thing. Your post doesn't have enough information for proper advise

Is the salary better in your former office?

What of the job itself. Which do you like better? Does your former officer offer more career path and advance

What made them sack you in the first place cos this isn't looking like you left voluntarily otherwise they won't be asking you to resume again. What if they sack you once again in the future

You need to sit back and evaluate various factors. If you choose to return to your old stumping ground, be mindful they would assume you need them more than they need you

I would advise that if your present place is as good, reject their return request and demand a higher role from them as a condition to rejoining

This shambolic piece was obviously written by a Republican apologists. Afghanistan didn't win. America felt, like the world feels, that enough is enough

The purpose of the war has long been achieved. Staying and wasting billions while COVID ravages the world made little sense. A point came to end it all. Trump started the withdrawal and signed with the Talibans to end the war

The withdrawal date was communicated and some die hard refused to leave. Unimaginable the over 300k Aghan troops surrendered without a shot. How is that Biden's making

When they write these propagandas they actually think we are all daft

The divorce proceeding is in Nigeria not US. I cant see any Nigeria judge that would award such amount as spousal support

She would end up getting a paltry sum. So many Nigerian celebrities have divorced. How many get anything reasonable from their spouse? As for his US home, the Nigeeian Court decision is what any authority anywhere in the world would work with

She is not as smart as those applauding her made it out to look.

From what I can see, his major loss now are the kids. But even that is a question of how they behave when they become adults

Tarrant County Hopes Sentence Discourages Criminals...

(Fort Worth, TX) – 372nd District Court Judge Scott Wisch on Wednesday sentenced Gbenga Fadipe to 12 years in prison after he pled guilty to first-degree felony Theft greater than $300,000.

The offense involved $693,625.77 in funds stolen from the City of Fort Worth.

“If criminals are deciding who to target, and they know Tarrant County judges are giving sentences like this, they may avoid this area in the future,” Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney Sharen Wilson said.

Here’s how the theft occurred.

In October 2017, a change of account request was submitted to the city of Fort Worth that appeared to be from Imperial Construction, which was doing business with the city. The fraudulent request, which was granted, was to update Imperial’s wiring instructions so that Fort Worth’s invoice payments due to Imperial would be directed to a new account at Chase Bank.

Fadipe, 50, was the sole authorized user of the new Chase account. Once money was transferred by the city into that account, Fadipe immediately moved those stolen funds into four other accounts he controlled at Prosperity Bank and Capital One Bank between November 2017 and early 2018.

Assistant DA Believes Fadipe Had Help

Within two weeks of liquidating all the funds that totaled $693,625.77, Fadipe flew from the United States to London and then to Nigeria. He eventually returned to the United States and was arrested in the Houston area. He was taken into custody Wednesday night, May 12, to begin serving his sentence.

“We do not believe this defendant acted alone,” said Nathan Martin, the assistant criminal district attorney who prosecuted the case.

Yussuph Hazeez in Harris County faces criminal charges relating to this case.

seunmsg:

A petition was written by a very popular member of PDP, Kassim Afegbua. In case some of you have forgotten, Afegbua was one of the spokesmen of Atiku’s 2019 campaign council.

So, this is not about APC. It is simply EFCC doing its job of investigating a corruption petition. Except you guys want us to believe that the national chairman of PDP is above the law, this should not cause any political controversy.

And when the same petition was written against Oshiomole and Tinubu, including several against Amaechi, did your darling law of the land crusaders investigate? Hypocrisy is a disease

When would people stop being partisan and honest in this country. Remember MLK: In the end, I worry not about the noise of the enemies, but the silence of my friends

For how long would they continue to arrest up and down. Isn't it clear to them that there is a deeper problem going on. From Lagos, Abuja, Enugu, Imo, PH, Warri, Ibadan, Illorin...virtually all parts of southern Nigeria. There has to be a big problem

Without jobs this problem won't go away. The people in the govt cannot continue to fritter out the country's wealth and create zero jobs and you turn around to keep arresting the youths that have resorted to self help while you live in your coveted mansions built with stolen commonwealth

While no one holds brief for Internet crimes, the spate of continuous arrest suggest this problem won't go away and this strategy isn't working

The youths are gradually turning against the EFCC and many others turning into kidnapping. Soon lawlessness would be all over the land. The government needs to change strategy and act fast before chaos ensues
