Government gave out the houses to the poor but agents came and bought from the indigenes at low prices and started selling at exorbitant prices.

Secondly, do you know Federal Housing Lugbe? Government built everything but go there now, some civil servants secretly bought everything to the detriment of the masses, ppl are now moving to Tudun Wada and one man village where (one room selfcon) mud houses are 120/130k per year.

Estates are scattered in but the masses can't afford any of them.

Only God knows but their position is that government have taken over the school hence it's government school.

Baptist Church and other Churches should not have handed over their schools to the government. In the constitution of Nigeria, all government school are taken care of by the government, salaries payed by the government and other maintenance so Baptist Church is in a serious delima as this issue is concerned.

Lastly, government will not give back the school to Baptist Church though they biuld the school and might be situated within their Church.

Kwara State has finally been divided along religious lines. No Thanks to the MURIC terrorist. It is not by force to attend a missionary school. They either attend Islamic schools or government owned schools.

You have to understand that most missionary schools are doing well, that's the reason Muslims register their wards there. When i was serving in one of the NorthEast states, Muslims on their own brought their children (boys) and ensured that they were registered in St Pauls college (a sch owned by Anglican church). Most missionary schools are better academically.

Guy this is where u miss it. Edo is a tribe... From time immemorial, those people u call Benins are also the Edos that is why u have "Ovbiedo" or Edo language spoken by the Benins. Edo and Benin are interchangeably used for those who people who occupied Edo South senatorial district. Forget about political delineation. The Edo people are also the Benin people. The state got its name from the Edo/Benin people .. other group/tribe Afemai, Ishan, Owan, Auchi etc have ancestry of the Edo/Benin people and were "grafted" as Edos cos they have been part of Edo/Benin Empire. Benin was changed to Edo during the reign of Oba EWuare 1 in 15th century in honour of the slave called "Edo" who helped him to escape the assassination order of his younger brother. So you understand now that EDO is a tribe which particularly are the Benin people and not just a name of a state.

There came a time in my life around last year 2021. From January to around August, I made N0.00 (zero Naira) after leaving my glorified job for business. Business didn't come through. I suffered throughout those aforementioned months.

I had a very good woman around me. She was very supportive both financially, emotionally and spiritually.

She gave me 1 to 4 listed up there unwavering. No complaint whatsoever. She gave me more that surprised me too.

She gave me what I can never forget till I die. This is a lady who had nothing when I met her. I didn't give her heaven and earth before 2021. I only let myself live in the experience. I didn't want to say I gave her this and that. Moreover, those things I may have given to her could be bought easily by her now.

Till this minute of posting, She's still giving 1 to 4.

There are more inter tribal marriages between Yoruba/Edo than Yoruba/Ibo. Unions among individuals is quite different from political alliance which has never existed between Yoruba and ibo. I haven't yet seen any other tribe hate Yoruba as much as ibos do.

Edo is not a tribe but a state with several tribes okay, I'm only against generalization which all of us know that it's not true. No matter how you paint it and despite changing the goal post from marriage which i use as an example to politics, generalizing that igbos hate Yoruba is a lie.

All my stay here, i have never go tribal against anyone, be he/she Hausa, Yoruba, Ijaw etc and there are others who don't do tribalism/hate. The issue of hate/tribalism stems from inferiority complex hence some Igbos/Yorubas/Hausa do it here.

If Igbo hate Yoruba with passion, why is Igbo/Yoruba the highest inter tribal marriage in Nigeria?

My late uncle married a Yoruba woman, despite the demise of my uncle, the wife do come to our village with her children and she is happy with us, my uncle's houses (Abj, Lag, Aba) are all in her care. A friend and a colleague here, a Yoruba guy married an Imo state lady; they are happy living together.

If Nairaland is the basis for judging Nigeria, there would be no Nigeria for a long time ago, thank you.

If you want to marry, talk to the girl and also to her father, the father is important because he decides how things goes. In marriage list, there are things for the bride's father and mother but my dad always say no to that hence our in-laws always appreciate my dad and mum every Christmas, it's not an obligation nor a plea but they always do on their own, thank you.
